There is a detection device that detects the presence or absence of excretion in a diaper with a sensor. For example, there is an excretion confirmation device described in Patent Document 1. This excretion confirmation device is attached to the outer surface of the absorbent article that does not come into contact with excrement, and detects a change in impedance between a pair of electrodes formed side by side on the one surface of the hard substrate by being slightly separated from each other by sensor means. The presence or absence of excretion in the absorbent article is confirmed based on a change in frequency according to a change in impedance between the pair of electrodes detected by the sensor means.
On the other hand, in recent years, ultra-small sensors have been developed. For example, a gas sensor having a MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) structure in which a metal oxide semiconductor film and a heater are provided on a bridge or a diaphragm provided on a cavity of a Si substrate has been developed (Patent Document 2). . Such a MEMS type gas sensor is not inferior in performance to a conventional gas sensor, and furthermore, is smaller and consumes less power than a conventional gas sensor.

FIG. 7F is a right side view. 3 and 4 are block diagrams showing the configuration of the excretion or flatulence detector, and FIG. 3 is an explanatory diagram showing the outline of the gas sensor element and the CPU board and the outline of the communication between the excretion or flatulence detector and another device. FIG. 4 is an explanatory diagram relating to the outline of the CPU board provided in the excretion or flatus detector.
The excretion or flatus detector 10 of the present embodiment includes, in a housing 11, a gas sensor element 12 for detecting gas generated from excrement or flatus, and excretion or flatus information based on a detection signal detected by the gas sensor element 12. A communication unit 13 that transmits the excretion or flatulence detector 10 together with the unique identification information for identifying the excretion or flatulence detector 10 to the detection target person. Hook 14 as an attaching / detaching means. The casing 11 is provided with a gas introduction hole 15 for introducing excrement or gas generated from flatus from the outside of the casing 11 to the gas sensor element 12.
The casing 11 of the excretion or flatus detector 10 is made of an insulating material such as resin. The housing 11 includes a gas sensor element 12, a CPU board 16 including a communication unit 13, and a battery (not shown) for supplying power. The housing 11 is provided with a gas introduction hole 15 for introducing gas into the gas sensor element 12 from outside the housing 11.
As the gas sensor element 12, an ultra-small sensor element is used. For example, a commercially available gas sensor element having a size of about several mm and having a MEMS structure is used. For example, a MEMS type semiconductor gas sensor TGS8100 (Figaro Giken) is used.
Further, the size of the CPU substrate 16 on all sides is about several mm to about several tens mm.
With such an ultra-small gas sensor element 12 and CPU board 16, the size of the housing 11 can be reduced.
The excretion or flatus detector 10 according to the present embodiment is provided with a plurality of gas introduction holes 15 for housing gas generated from flat excrement (feces, urine) or intestinal gas discharged outside the body. It is introduced into the body 11. The area of each gas introduction hole 15 is about 3 mm ^ 2 to 6 mm ^ 2. In the present embodiment, a plurality of gas introduction holes 15 are provided. However, when there is no adverse effect such as noise on the output value of the detection signal by the gas sensor element 12, one large gas introduction hole 15 is provided at the center. Is also good.
ブルートゥース(登録商標)による近距離無線通信回線、LPWA(Low Power Wide Area)による省電力広域回線、3G/4G/5Gなどのセルラー回線、無線LAN(Local Area Network)回線、NFC(Near Field Communication)超近距離無線通信回線等が通信手段の一例である。 The excretion or flatus detector 10 can wirelessly communicate with another device 20. The other device 20 is, for example, a mobile phone, a smart phone, a mobile tablet, a computer installed inside or outside the care center, or the like, carried by a caregiver or a caregiver. There is no limitation on the means of communication with another device 20. Short-range wireless communication line using Bluetooth (registered trademark), low-power wide-area line using LPWA (Low Power Wide Area), cellular line such as 3G / 4G / 5G, wireless LAN (Local Area Network) line, NFC (Near Field Communication) An ultra-short-range wireless communication line or the like is an example of the communication means.
The excretion or flatus detector 10 has a CPU board 16. The CPU board 16 includes a CPU having an arithmetic function, a working RAM, a control means 17 including a ROM for storing various data and programs, a unique identification number assigned to each excretion or flatus detector 10, or a unique identification number. A storage unit 18 for storing identification information such as an identification code and the like, which is unique to the excretion or flatus detector 10, a signal receiving unit 19 provided with an amplification unit, an A / D conversion unit, and the like, as an input interface for inputting a detection signal from the gas sensor element 12. For example, the communication device 13 includes communication means 13 for transmitting excretion or flatus information to the other device 20 via the various communication lines described above. Each component is interconnected via a bus.
The control means 17 determines the presence or absence of excretion or flatus, based on the detection signal from the gas sensor element 12 and based on the excretion or flatus detection program stored in the ROM or the like. If there is excretion or flatus, excretion or flatus information for notifying that excretion or flatus has occurred is generated. Then, the generated excretion or flatus information is transmitted to another device 20 via the communication unit 13. At this time, the control unit 17 transmits the excretion or flatus information to the other device 20 together with the identification information stored in the storage unit 18.
For example, when the caregiver in the nursing home is the detection target, all the caregivers wear the excretion or flatus detector 10, respectively. The excretion or flatulence detector 10 is provided with identification information that is different for each excretion or flatulence detector 10 and that is unique for identifying each excretion or flatulence detector 10. When the caregiver wears the excretion or flatulence detector 10, the caregiver information indicating information about the caregiver (for example, name, gender, room number, and the like), and the identification information of the mounted excretion or flatulence detector 10 Is stored in the caregiver information storage means (not shown) in association with the caregiver information. The caregiver information storage means is provided in, for example, another computer or server (not shown) or an external storage medium. The other device 20 is configured to be able to access the caregiver information storage means. Further, a caregiver information storage unit may be provided in another device 20.
Due to such a configuration, when the other apparatus 20 receives the excretion or flatus information, the other apparatus 20 refers to the caregiver information storage unit and based on the caregiver information associated with the identification information received together with the excretion or flatus information. Thus, it is possible to determine which excretion or flatus information from the excretion or flatus detector 10, that is, which excretion or flatus information from the caregiver.
The excretion or flatus detection program executed by the control means 17 may use a conventionally known excretion or flatus detection program. For example, an excretion determination threshold is provided, and when the detection signal received from the gas sensor element 12 is within a predetermined first threshold range, it is determined that there is urination, and excretion or flatus information indicating urination is generated. When it is within the second threshold range, it is determined that there is bowel movement, and excretion or flatus information indicating bowel movement is generated. Alternatively, when the detection signal is within a predetermined third threshold range, it is determined that there is flatus, and excretion or flatus information indicating flatus is generated. Further, the presence or absence of excretion or flatus may be determined according to a change in the signal intensity of the detection signal received from the gas sensor element 12. Further, the excretion detection method described in Japanese Patent No. 6186431 by the present applicant may be used.
FIG. 5 is an explanatory diagram illustrating an example of a state of use of the excretion or flatus detector 10.
The detection target person is, for example, a cared person, an infant or the like. The excretion or flatus detector 10 is used by hooking a hook 14 provided outside the housing 11 on clothes such as pants worn by a person to be detected. Then, excrement (feces, urine) or gas generated from flatus of the detection target person is taken into the housing 11 from the gas introduction hole 15 and detected by the gas sensor element 12.
The casing 11 of the excretion or flatus detector 10 is very small, for example, has a vertical size of 60 mm or less, a horizontal size of 30 mm or less, and a thickness direction of 10 mm. For this reason, even when the user wears it, the user hardly feels a foreign object. In addition, since it can be attached simply by hooking the hook 14, the excretion or flatus detector 10 can be easily attached and detached when changing clothes.

FIG. 6 is a schematic external view of an excretion or flatus detector according to another example 1, FIG. 7 is a schematic rear view of the excretion or flatus detector according to another example 1, and FIG. It is explanatory drawing which shows an example of a use state.
As shown in FIGS. 6 to 8, the excretion or flatus detector 50 according to the other example 1 is different from the excretion or flatus detector 10 (FIG. 1) in which the shapes of the housing 11 and the gas introduction hole 15 are the above-described embodiments. different. The excretion or flatus detector 50 is further miniaturized as compared with the excretion or flatus detector 10, and the size of the housing 11 is, for example, a vertical size of 30 mm or less, a horizontal size of 15 mm or less, and a thickness of The vertical size is 10 mm or less. As shown in FIG. 7, the excretion or flatus detector 50 includes an adhesive tape or a hook-and-loop fastener 30 to be attached to an absorbent article or clothing worn by the detection target person on the back of the housing 11. The configuration and functions of the gas sensor element 12, the gas introduction hole 15, the CPU board 16 including the communication means 13, the control means 17, the storage means 18, and the signal receiving means 19 included in the excretion or flatus detector 50 are the same as those of the above-described embodiment. The description is omitted because it is the same as.
FIG. 8 shows an example of use in a case where the excretion or flatus detector 50 is attached to a diaper with an adhesive tape provided in the housing 11.
When the casing 11 is provided with a hook-and-loop fastener, and the excretion or flatus detector 50 is attached to clothes (for example, pants) or the like with the hook-and-loop fastener, it is constituted by one of male and female hook-and-loop fasteners, and Either the male or female hook-and-loop fastener to be paired with the clothes is provided by sewing or pasting. The clothing itself may be made of the other surface fastener material.
Particularly, a female hook-and-loop fastener having a large number of loops is softer and more comfortable than a male fastener having a large number of key-like bodies, and thus is suitable for being provided on clothes. Therefore, it is preferable to provide a female hook-and-loop fastener on the clothing side. When the female hook-and-loop fastener material is provided on the clothes, the housing 11 is provided with a pair of male hook-and-loop fasteners.
The gas introduction hole 15 may be provided at any position of the housing 11. It is preferable to provide the gas in the housing 11 at a position where the gas generated from the detection target is easily taken in. For example, the gas introduction hole 15 may be provided on the mounting surface side of the housing 11 to the detection target. It can be determined according to the position of the gas sensor element 12 in the housing 11 and the like.
FIG. 9 is a schematic external view of an excretion or flatus detector according to another example 2, FIG. 10 is a schematic front view of the excretion or flatus detector according to another example 2, and FIG. FIG. 12 is a schematic right side view, and FIG. 12 is an internal schematic explanatory view of an excretion or flatus detector according to another example 2. The configurations and functions of the gas sensor element 12, the gas introduction hole 15, the CPU board 16 including the communication means 13, the control means 17, the storage means 18, and the signal receiving means 19 included in the excretion or flatus detector 60 are the same as those in the above-described embodiment. Therefore, detailed description is omitted.
The gas introduction hole 15 of the excretion or flatus detector 60 according to the other example 2 is provided in the concave portion 21 formed on the side of the mounting surface of the housing 11 on the detection target person. The mounting surface side of the excretion or flatus detector 60 on the detection target person of the housing 11 is the upper side in FIGS. 9 and 11 and the front side shown in FIG. The means for attaching and detaching the excretion or flatus detector 60 is, for example, an adhesive tape or a hook-and-loop fastener 30. The detailed description of the adhesive tape or the hook-and-loop fastener 30 is the same as that of the above-described embodiment according to the other example 1, so that the detailed description will be omitted.
Furthermore, the recess 21 is provided with a notch 21a communicating with the side surface of the housing 11. Further, the side surface of the concave portion 21 is inclined, so that air is easily flown to the gas introduction hole 15 provided in the concave portion 21 along the inclined surface.
Also, the recess 21 has a two-stage structure. The upper recess 21b communicates with the side surface of the housing 11, and the lower recess 21c does not communicate with the side surface of the housing. In the example shown in FIG. 9 and the like, a notch 21a is provided in the upper recess 21b.
With the above configuration, air containing gas generated from excrement or flatus is introduced from the side surface of the housing 11 through the cutout portion 21a, and is taken into the upper concave portion 21b, the lower concave portion 21c, and the gas introduction hole 15.
The gas sensor element 12 is provided on the side where the excretion or flatus detector 60 is attached to the detection target person. Specifically, it is provided immediately below the gas introduction hole 15, and FIGS. 9 and 10 show an example in which a part of the gas sensor element 12 is exposed.
As described above, according to the excretion or flatulence detectors 10, 50, and 60, the communication unit including the gas sensor element 12 in the housing 11 and transmitting excretion or flatulence information based on the detection signal to the other device 20. 13, and the housing 11 is provided with a hook 14 or an adhesive tape or a hook-and-loop fastener 30 as an attaching / detaching means outside the housing 11, and the housing 11 is provided with a gas introduction hole 15 for introducing gas generated from excrement or flatus.
