Abstract

A vehicle wheel comprising a hub body (1) and a wheel rim (2) is characterised in that it comprises a plurality of pairs of spokes, each pair of spokes comprising two tensioned spokes (3a, 3b), each spoke (3a, 3b) comprising a rim end (4) and a hub end (5), the two hub ends (5) of the spokes in each pair of spokes being interconnected by a connection member (6, 7a, 7b) tangentially stabilised with respect to the hub body (1), each connection member (6, 7a, 7b) comprising tension adjustment means to adjust the tension applied to the spokes (3a, 3b), the adjustment means being capable of varying the distance between the hub ends (5) of the two spokes of the pair of spokes by moving the hub ends (5) in relation to the hub body (1).
