  • the foam application pad 150 is preferably attached to a support plate 155 equipped with detachable mounting means.
  • Attachment of the foam application pad 150 to the support plate 155 can be obtained by any suitable means, for example, by gluing or welding, especially by ultrasonic welding.
  • the support plate 155 has at least one dispensing through opening 156 corresponding to the outlet port 141 when the foam pad 150 is in place on the dispensing head 120, i.e. substantially central in the illustrated embodiment.
  • the support plate 155 comprises additional through openings 157 arranged on the periphery of the support plate 155 and configured to cooperate with corresponding comb teeth 145 of the dispensing and application head 120.
