Description

Prefabricated building module Technical field
Prefabricated building module relates to a building elements used in modular home construction.
Background Art
There are known various systems of modular building or modular homes from prior art, while specifications of particular modules are very rarely subject to patent protection. As an example, US6067771A describes a method and a device related to modular home construction, but this description indicates rather a business method instead of a technical solution applicable to modular home construction, while US3793796A discloses a system of module to module connection into a house. In turn, US6003280A discloses a module with steel frames, however it has components that are not present in the present invention, e.g. anchors, and does not contain details on material technologies related to the manufacture of individual module parts, e.g. floors. However, US20060059792A1 describes a prefabricated building module, but, the substance of this solution is rather a method of module to module connection than the structural and material components of a module.
Disclosure of invention
This invention relates to a prefabricated building module consisting of load bearing steel frames, an external wall, a ceiling, and floor where in the prefabricated build module of maximum dimensions of 12000x3200x3600 mm (L x W x H) comprises one or a plurality of steel frames, where in the steel frame is made of a ceiling upper frame and a floor bottom frame and columns , where the bottom frame comprises steel longitudinal beams and traverse beams and cross members spaced every 62.5 cm maximum and an angle bar, and the upper frame consists of steel longitudinal and traverse sections spaced every 62.5 cm maximum, while the columns are made of steel sections. In the prefabricated building module the external walls are of timber construction of a minimum size of 45x100 mm two-side lined with wood-like panels of 12mm and 15mm in thickness, and the external wall is filled with a heat-insulating material in the form of mineral wool or spray foam and mineral wool, while the module floor for the ground floor is made of T8 trapezoidal sheets laid between steel sections , heat-insulating materials, preferably with a spray foam or mineral wool, a woodlike panel of 15 mm in thickness, timber construction in size filled with mineral wool and a wood-like panel of 22-25 mm in thickness, whereas the module floor at the first floor level is made of T8 trapezoidal sheet laid between steel sections , filled with heat-insulating materials, preferably with a spray foam or mineral wool, and a wood-like panel of 22-25 mm in thickness. In an embodiment according to this invention the ceiling is made of steel sheet on steel sections and filled with heat-insulating materials such as mineral wool or spray foam and mineral wool. Steel sections lined underneath with wood-like panels arranged in two panels of 12 mm in thickness or three 12 mm panels with mineral wool infill. The prefabricated building module may include internal wall preferably made of gypsum and a roof which covers the module construction.
Brief description of drawings
The present invention is illustrated in drawings, where Fig. 1 is a plan view of the upper frame, Fig. 2 is a plan view of the bottom frame, Fig. 3 is a steel frame cross-section, Fig. 4 is a steel beam of bottom frame cross-section , Fig. 5 is a profile of bottom frame , Fig. 6 is a steel beam of upper frame cross-section , Fig. 7 is an angel bar profile, Fig. 8 is a steel shapes profile, Fig.9 is a profile of upper frame.
Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
A prefabricated building module consisting of load bearing steel frames (1), an an external wall (2), a ceiling (3) and floor (4) characterized in that the prefabricated building module of maximum dimensions of 12000x3200x3600 mm (L x W x H) comprises one steel frame (1), wherein the steel frame (1) is made of a ceiling upper frame (1.1.) and a floor bottom frame (1.2) and columns (1.8, 1.9), where the bottom frame (1.2) comprises steel longitudinal beams (1.3) and traverse beams (1.4) and cross members (1.5) spaced every 62.5 cm maximum and an angle bar (1.10), and the upper frame (1.1) consists of steel longitudinal (1.6) and traverse sections (1.7) spaced every 62.5 cm maximum, while the columns are made of steel shapes (1.8, 1.9); the outer walls (2) are of timber construction of 45x100mm minimum in size, two-side lined with woodlike panels of 12mm and 15mm in thickness, and the external wall (2) is filled with a heat-insulating material in the form of mineral wool. The module floor (4) for the ground floor is made of T8 trapezoidal sheets laid between steel sections (1.5), heat-insulating material in the form of mineral wool, a wood-like panel of 15 mm in thickness, timber construction in size filled with mineral wool and a wood-like panel of 22 mm in thickness, whereas the module floor (4) on the first floor level is made of T8 trapezoidal sheet laid between the steel sections (1.5), filled with heat-insulating materials in the form of mineral wool, and a wood-like panel of 22 mm in thickness. The ceiling (3) is made of steel sheet on steel sections (1.7) filled with heat-insulating materials in the form of mineral wool. Steel sections (1.7) are lined underneath with wood-like panels arranged in two panels of 12 mm in thickness or three 12 mm panels with mineral wool infill. The modules are connected with each other (both in vertical and horizontal planes) with threads in openings provided in frame corners. First, the ground floor modules are mounted on prepared foundations, and then modules of next floors, and finally the roof. The next stage of building construction is installation of non- modular components such as facade or external stairs.
