In order to enhance the dust resistance of the eddy current type instrument, it is conceivable to cover the rotor and the like by covering the plate-like base with a cover member. At this time, it is preferable to use a resin for the material of the cover member from the viewpoint of weight reduction and freedom of shape. In addition, it is desired to secure high resistance against vibrations received from the outside while reducing the number of parts.
The present invention has an object to provide an eddy current type instrument having a high resistance to vibration while having a small number of parts on the assumption that a resin cover member is used.

According to the invention of claim 1, a base, a first rotary shaft rotatably supported by the base, a magnetic body attached to the first rotary shaft and rotating together with the first rotary shaft, Rotating by a cover member covered by the base, a second rotating shaft rotatably supported by the cover member, and an eddy current generated when the magnetic body rotates by being supported by the second rotating shaft An eddy-current meter having a rotor and a damper mechanism provided above the rotor to suppress overrotation of the rotor,
The cover member is made of resin as a material, and has a side wall portion that surrounds the side of the rotor, and a top plate portion that covers the upper end of the side wall portion,
The damper mechanism includes a cup-shaped cup portion provided on the second rotating shaft, oil filled in the cup portion, and a resistance portion that is lowered from the top plate portion and has a tip immersed in the oil. And having
An eddy current meter is provided in which a reinforcing wall portion extending from the resistance portion to the side wall portion is formed integrally with the cover member and the resistance portion.
As described in claim 2, preferably, the side wall portion includes a side wall concave portion that is recessed from the general surface portion toward the axis of the second rotation shaft and has a substantially arc shape in the bottom view of the cover member,
The reinforcing wall portion includes a recessed portion reinforcing wall portion extending from the resistance portion to the side wall recessed portion.
As described in claim 3, preferably, the side wall recess and the recess reinforcement wall are both formed at a plurality of locations,
The reinforcing wall portion includes a general portion reinforcing wall portion extending from the resistance portion to the general surface portion at an intermediate position between the adjacent recessed portion reinforcing wall portions.
In the invention according to claim 1, the reinforcing wall portion extending from the resistance portion to the side wall portion is formed integrally with the cover member and the resistance portion. A load such as vibration may be applied to the resistance portion. This vibration is transmitted to the side wall portion through the reinforcing wall portion. By distributing the load over a wider range, the load is prevented from being concentrated in part. Thereby, the tolerance with respect to a vibration can be improved. At this time, the resistance portion, the reinforcing wall portion, and the side wall portion are integrally formed by one member. For this reason, the number of parts can be reduced as compared with the case where these are provided separately. On the premise of using a resin cover member, it is possible to provide an eddy current type instrument having a high resistance to vibration while having a small number of parts.
In the invention according to claim 2, the reinforcing wall portion includes a recessed portion reinforcing wall portion extending from the resistance portion to the side wall recessed portion. The inventors of the present invention have found that resistance to vibration can be increased by providing a recessed portion reinforcing wall portion extending to the recessed portion on the side wall. The recessed portion reinforcing wall portion is recessed toward the axis of the second rotating shaft and extends toward the sidewall recessed portion having a substantially arc shape. For this reason, the vibration input to the resistance portion is transmitted to the side wall concave portion via the concave portion reinforcing wall portion. It is considered that the vibration transmitted to the side wall recess is further transmitted in various directions. That is, it is considered that the load received from vibration can be more dispersed.
In the invention according to claim 3, the reinforcing wall portion includes a general portion reinforcing wall portion extending from the resistance portion to the general surface portion at an intermediate position between the adjacent recessed portion reinforcing wall portions. By providing the general portion reinforcing wall portion, resistance to vibration can be further increased. At this time, the general portion reinforcing wall portions are located at equal distances from the adjacent recessed portion reinforcing wall portions. For this reason, the load received from the input vibration can be more evenly distributed.

The base 21 is configured, for example, by press forming a general cold rolled steel plate (SPCC). An insertion hole 21 a is formed in the center of the base 21.
The bearing body 22 includes a metal cylindrical member 22a inserted into the insertion hole 21a, and a sintered metal sliding bearing 22b provided on the inner periphery of the cylindrical member 22a. The cover member 40 is, for example, an injection-molded product by injection molding, and houses the side wall portion 41 raised from the edge of the base portion 21, the top plate portion 42 covering the upper end of the side wall portion 41, and the accumulator 17. And an accommodating portion 43. The cover member 40 can employ polybutylene terephthalate resin (PBT) as a material.
Note that the totalizer 17 indicates the travel distance of the vehicle. A known structure is adopted for the structure of the accumulator 17. For this reason, detailed description is omitted.
Refer to FIG. A portion that is recessed from the general surface portion 41a of the side wall portion 41 toward the axis line CL of the second rotation shaft 51 and that has a substantially arc shape in the bottom view of the cover member 40 is referred to as a side wall recess portion 41b.
The recessed portion reinforcing wall portions 45 and 45 extend from the resistance portion 63 of the damper mechanism 60 to the two side wall recessed portions 41b and 41b, respectively. The recessed portion reinforcing wall portion 45 extends from the resistance portion 63 to a substantially central position of the side wall recessed portion 41b. Details of the resistor 63 will be described later.
The general portion reinforcing wall portion 46 extends from the resistance portion 63 to the general surface portion at an intermediate position between the two concave portion reinforcing wall portions 45 and 45.
It should be noted that the term “reinforcing wall portion” includes both the recessed portion reinforcing wall portion 45 and the general portion reinforcing wall portion 46.
A circular support hole 42 a is formed in the top plate portion 42 on the axis line CL of the first rotation shaft 31. That is, the second rotating body 50 described below is disposed on the same axis CL as the first rotating shaft 31.
Refer to FIG. The second rotating body 50 includes a second rotating shaft 51 rotatably supported by the support hole 42a and the bearing 34, a rotor supporting portion 52 fixed to the second rotating shaft 51, and the rotor supporting portion. And a rotor 53 fixed to 52. The rotor support portion 52 is formed of resin by insert molding. The rotor 53 is made of a nonmagnetic metal, for example, aluminum, and is configured in a cup shape by press molding.
The damper mechanism 60 includes a cup-shaped cup portion 61 formed on the upper surface of the rotor support portion 52, an oil 62 filled in the cup portion 61, and extends downward from the top plate portion 42, and the tip is immersed in the oil 62. And a resistance portion 63. When the second rotating shaft 51 rotates, the cup portion 61 also rotates. The resistance portion 63 immersed in the oil 62 serves as a rotation resistance of the rotor 53 and can suppress vibration and over-rotation of the rotor 53.
The spiral spring 27 is disposed immediately above the cover member 40. A central portion 27 a of the spiral spring 27 is press-fitted and fixed to the second rotating shaft 51. An end portion 27 b of the spiral spring 27 is fixed to a fixing portion 48 formed integrally with the top plate portion 42. The fixing portion 48 is deformed when a hot plate heated by a heater is pressed against it, and the end portion 27b of the spiral spring 27 is fixed.
A horizontal shaft 18 that meshes with the first rotating shaft 31 is provided below the magnetic conductor 32. The horizontal shaft 18 is rotatably supported by the base portion 21. The horizontal axis 18 is orthogonal to the first rotation axis 31 and transmits the rotation of the first rotation axis 31 to the accumulator 17.
Next, the effect of the present invention will be described.
Refer to FIG. FIG. 4A shows a cover member 140 of an eddy current type instrument 110 according to a comparative example. Vibration generated in the engine or the like is transmitted to a wide range of the vehicle. Part of the vibration is also transmitted to the cover member 140 of the eddy current instrument 110. The resistance portion 163 is a cylindrical member formed integrally with the top plate portion 142 of the cover member 140. For this reason, a large load may be applied to the base portion of the resistance portion 163 due to the transmission of vibration. In this case, the support hole at the base portion of the resistance portion 163 vibrates greatly, so that rotational torque is generated on the second rotation shaft, and the pointer may be displaced from the original position.
Refer to FIG. 4 (b). FIG. 4B shows a cover member 40 of the eddy current type instrument 10 according to the embodiment. Reinforcing wall portions 45 and 46 extending from the resistance portion 63 to the side wall portion 41 are formed integrally with the cover member 40 and the resistance portion 63. A load such as vibration may be applied to the resistance portion 63. As indicated by the arrows (1) to (5), the vibration is transmitted to the side wall portion 41 via the reinforcing wall portions 45 and 46. By distributing the load over a wider range, the load is prevented from being concentrated in part. Thereby, the tolerance with respect to a vibration can be improved. At this time, the resistance part 63, the reinforcement wall parts 45 and 46, and the side wall part 41 are integrally formed by one member. For this reason, the number of parts can be reduced as compared with the case where these are provided separately. On the assumption that the resin cover member 40 is used, it is possible to provide the eddy current type instrument 10 having a high resistance to vibration while having a small number of parts.
Furthermore, the reinforcing wall portions 45 and 46 include a concave portion reinforcing wall portion 45 extending from the resistance portion 63 to the side wall concave portion 41b. The present inventors have found that the resistance to vibration can be increased by providing the concave portion reinforcing wall portion 45 extending to the side wall concave portion 41b. The recessed portion reinforcing wall 45 is recessed toward the axis CL of the second rotation shaft 51 and extends toward the side wall recessed portion 41b having a substantially arc shape. For this reason, the vibration input to the resistance portion 63 is transmitted to the side wall concave portion 41 b via the concave portion reinforcing wall portion 45. It is considered that the vibration transmitted to the side wall recess 41b is further transmitted in various directions. That is, it is considered that the load received from vibration can be more dispersed.
Furthermore, the reinforcing wall portions 45 and 46 include a general portion reinforcing wall portion 46 extending from the resistance portion 63 to the general surface portion 41a at an intermediate position between the adjacent recessed portion reinforcing wall portions 45 and 45. By providing the general portion reinforcing wall portion 46, resistance to vibration can be further increased. At this time, the general portion reinforcing wall portions 46 are located at an equal distance from the adjacent recessed portion reinforcing wall portions 45. For this reason, the load received from the input vibration can be more evenly distributed.
The eddy current type instrument 10 according to the present invention can be mounted not only on a two-wheeled vehicle but also on a vehicle such as a four-wheeled vehicle or a three-wheeled vehicle or other vehicles. Furthermore, although the eddy current type instrument has been described based on an example adopted in a vehicle speedometer, it can also be applied to a tachometer or the like. That is, the present invention is not limited to the examples as long as the operations and effects of the present invention are exhibited.
The eddy current type instrument of the present invention is suitable for a motorcycle.
