Abstract

A lighting device (1) has a light source (2), in particular a semiconductor light source, for generating primary light (P), a transmitted light optical system (3) spaced from the light source (2), and an luminescent material body (4) for at least partially converting the primary light (P) into secondary light (S), wherein the luminescent material body (4) is accommodated in the transmitted light optical system (3).
