La présente invention concerne un procédé de test de synchronisation d'audio et d'image, comportant les étapes consistant à: ajouter séquentiellement un numéro de série de trame à chaque trame d'une vidéo; lorsque les données audio de la vidéo sont lues au moyen d'un décodeur audio, déterminer l'instant où un signal audio est reproduit et utiliser cet instant comme point de contrôle, et acquérir, à partir de la vidéo à laquelle ont été ajoutés les numéros de série de trames, un premier numéro de série de trame correspondant à chaque point de contrôle; pendant qu'un terminal reproduit la vidéo à laquelle ont été ajoutés les numéros de série de trames, lorsqu'il est détecté pour la Nième fois qu'un signal audio est reproduit, acquérir un deuxième numéro de série de trame correspondant à l'image vidéo actuelle, et d'après le premier numéro de série de trame correspondant au Nième point de contrôle rangé par ordre croissant d'instant de reproduction, le deuxième numéro de série de trame actuellement acquis et un premier seuil prédéfini, déterminer si l'audio et l'image actuels sont synchrones; la valeur de N étant 1, 2, 3… successivement. La présente invention concerne en outre un dispositif de test de synchronisation d'audio et d'image. La présente invention réalise un test objectif, précis et simple de synchronisation d'audio et d'image sur la vidéo qu'un utilisateur visionne réellement.
