Abstract

The invention relates to a rotary bridge crane which comprises double girder (1) secured to a structure; a trolley (2) that moves longitudinally along the upper part of the girder (1); a lifting mechanism (3) installed on the trolley (2); and a chain box (4) that moves longitudinally and is connected to the trolley (2) by the lower part of the girder (1). The crane additionally comprises a support (20) which supports the lifting mechanism (3), a bearing (19) installed on the trolley (2) and on which the support (20) of the lifting mechanism (3) rotates so as to bring the chain (7) towards the very end of the girder (1) and increase the useful workspace thereof. According to the invention, the chain box (4) can move to one end of the trolley (2) or the other to accompany the chain (7) with the rotary movement of the lifting mechanism (3) on the bearing (19).
