Description

Air purifier and air conditioner
The present invention relates to an air cleaner and an air conditioner equipped with the air cleaner.
In recent years, environmental pollution caused by fine particles such as PM2.5, air pollution, and adverse effects on the human body have become problems. As a countermeasure for the problem, an air cleaner is installed in the room to collect particulate matter in the room.
Some conventional air purifiers are equipped with a HEPA filter that collects particulates at the suction port, but if the coarse dust contained in the air sucked from the suction port is collected by the filter, As a result, the air-conditioning performance frequently deteriorated. In order to eliminate clogging, it was necessary to frequently perform maintenance such as cleaning the filter and replacing the filter.
In addition, in order to prevent clogging, a charge filter that can selectively adsorb fine particles may be used. However, if particles other than fine particles adhere to the surface, the suction force due to charging does not reach and the fine particles can be collected. There was a problem of disappearing.
Therefore, an air cleaner that solves the above-described problems has been proposed (for example, see Patent Document 1). The air cleaner described in Patent Document 1 is a blower that circulates air, a filter unit that is arranged in a circulating airflow of the air and that captures dust in the air on a vertical dust trapping surface, and an air that passes through the filter unit. In an air purifier having a guide path for guiding the air, a sudden turn part of the air current formed at the joint between the front panel and the wind guide plate and the coarse dust separated from the suddenly turned air stream is connected to the guide path Receiving dust box.
The air cleaner described above has a separation mechanism that separates fine dust (fine particles) and coarse dust by rapidly turning the airflow, so that it is sufficient to collect coarse dust in the air. Performance can be obtained. Further, since the air is not continuously swirled unlike the cyclone device, the noise level is low and it is suitable for indoor use.
However, the conventional air cleaner as described in Patent Document 1 has a structure in which dust is collected in three places, that is, a dust box, a net-like filter, and a filter unit. Therefore, the structure is complicated and maintenance is troublesome. There was a problem that it took.
The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and an object thereof is to provide an air purifier and an air conditioner that can be easily maintained with a small number of filters.
An air purifier according to the present invention is a bell mouth having a casing, a blower provided in the casing, and a bent portion that is disposed on the suction side of the blower and is bent in the axial direction from the peripheral portion of the air inlet. And a front panel detachably attached to the front surface of the housing, a suction port provided on at least one side surface of the front panel, and a suction port installed opposite to the suction port. A filter through which indoor air sucked from the mouth passes, and the filter is located at a position closer to the suction port than the starting point of the bent portion of the bell mouth and at least 30 mm away from the suction port. When viewed from the side of the front panel, the width of the filter is wider than the width of the suction port.
According to the present invention, the filter is installed at a position closer to the suction port than the starting point of the bent portion of the bell mouth and at least 30 mm away from the suction port, and the filter is viewed from the side surface side of the front panel. Thus, the width of the filter is formed wider than the width of the suction port. With this configuration, even when dust accumulates on the surface of the filter and clogs with the passage of time, air from the suction port flows to surrounding surfaces other than the clogged surface of the filter. For this reason, the maintenance cycle of the filter cleaning can be extended, and the maintenance work is facilitated.

Hereinafter, embodiments of an air purifier according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of an air cleaner according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is an enlarged cross-sectional view showing the air cleaner of FIG. 1 as viewed from the direction of arrow XX.
First, the structure of the air cleaner 100 according to the present embodiment will be described.
As shown in FIG. 1, the outer portion of the air purifier 100 according to the present embodiment includes a substantially rectangular parallelepiped housing 1 and a front panel 2 that is detachably attached to the front surface of the housing 1. ing. Suction ports 3 for sucking indoor air are provided on both side surfaces of the front panel 2. This suction inlet 3 is arrange | positioned facing each other, and is formed in the rectangular shape long in a perpendicular direction. A blower outlet 4 for blowing clean air into the room is provided at the upper front of the housing 1.
As shown in FIG. 2, a fan 6 and a bell mouth 8 disposed on the suction side of the fan 6 are attached to the inside of the housing 1, and a fan casing 5 connected to the outlet 4 is provided. ing. An air passage is formed by the fan casing 5. The blower 6 includes a cylindrical sirocco fan 7 and a motor (not shown) that is disposed in an internal space of the sirocco fan 7 and has a rotating shaft attached to a boss provided on a main plate of the sirocco fan 7. .
When the sirocco fan 7 is rotated by driving the motor, the air is sucked from the bell mouth 8 in the axial direction of the sirocco fan 7 and blown out in a direction intersecting the axial direction, and the fan casing 5 is used as an air path to the air outlet 4 side. Is sent to.
The bell mouth 8 is disposed on the suction side of the blower 6 with the filter 10 side to be described later as an air inlet 8a and the sirocco fan 7 side as an air outlet 8b. The bell mouth 8 is formed such that the outer diameter including the peripheral edge 8c of the air inlet 8a is larger than the outer diameter of the sirocco fan 7, and the peripheral edge 8c engages with the edge of the hole provided in the fan casing 5. Is fixed.
Filters 10 are provided on the downstream side of the suction port 3 (side toward the blower 6). Each filter 10 is installed so that the width of the filter 10 is wider than the suction port 3 and parallel to the suction port 3 when viewed from the side of the front panel 2. Each filter 10 is formed in a rectangular parallelepiped shape whose surface is surrounded by a frame (not shown), and is detachably attached to support portions 2 a and 2 b provided on the front panel 2.
Each filter 10 is on the suction port 3 side from the starting point of the bent portion 8d bent in the axial direction from the peripheral edge 8c of the air inlet 8a of the bell mouth 8, and is 30 mm or more from the air outlet 3a of the suction port 3. It is installed at a remote location. The distance of 30 mm or more is an interval at which the air flow from the suction port 3 can flow into a surface other than the clogged surface of the filter 10 when the surface of the filter 10 facing the suction port 3 is clogged with dust. The suction air passage 11 is formed.
Next, the operation of the air cleaner 100 according to the present embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS.
FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view showing the flow of air when the filter is clogged in the embodiment of the present invention.
When the motor of the blower 6 is driven to rotate the sirocco fan 7, the air between the filters 10 is sucked into the sirocco fan 7 via the bell mouth 8, and the space between the filters 10 becomes negative pressure. As a result, indoor air containing dust is sucked from the suction ports 3 provided on both side surfaces of the front panel 2. Air sucked from each suction port 3 enters the suction air passage 11 and flows into the filter 10 so as to be orthogonal to the filter 10. At this time, dust contained in the air is collected by the filter 10, and only clean air passes through the filter 10.
The air that has passed through each filter 10 is sucked from the air inlet 8a of the bell mouth 8 and rectified, and is sucked into the sirocco fan 7 through the air outlet 8b. The sucked air is blown out in a direction crossing the axial direction of the sirocco fan 7, sent upward using the fan casing 5 as an air passage, blown out into the room from the blowout port 4, and indoor air is circulated.
As shown in FIG. 3, when the air cleaner 100 continues to operate, dust 20 accumulates on the surface of the filter 10 facing the suction port 3, and the airflow resistance on the surface increases, resulting in clogging. Air from the mouth 3 passes through a surface other than the clogged surface of the filter 10 as indicated by a thick arrow.
As described above, according to the present embodiment, each filter 10 is installed so as to be parallel to the suction ports 3 provided on both side portions of the front panel 2, so that the air flowing from the suction ports 3 Flows in perpendicular to the filter 10. For this reason, the ventilation resistance at the time of passing the filter 10 can be suppressed small.
Further, when each filter 10 is viewed from the side surface side of the front panel 2, the width of the filter 10 is formed wider than the width of the suction port 3, and each filter 10 is bent from the peripheral edge 8 c of the bell mouth 8. It is installed on the side of the suction port 3 from the starting point of the bent portion 8d and at a position 30 mm or more away from the air outlet 3a of the suction port 3. As a result, even if dust accumulates on the surface of the filter 10 as the date passes, the air from the suction port 3 passes through a surface other than the clogged surface of the filter 10, The maintenance cycle for cleaning the filter 10 can be prolonged. Furthermore, it is possible to prevent a reduction in the efficiency of air cleaning due to a decrease in the air volume due to clogging of the filter 10, thereby contributing to a reduction in energy loss.
In addition, since the width of the suction port 3 is reduced with respect to the filter 10, the design of the front panel 2 is improved.
In addition, in this Embodiment, the suction inlet 3 was provided in the both sides part of the front panel 2, and the filter 10 was each provided in the downstream of each suction inlet 3, However, It is not limited to it. That is, the suction port 3 may be provided only on either one of the side surfaces of the front panel 2, and the filter 10 may be provided on the downstream side of the suction port 3.
Further, although the filter 10 has a flat rectangular parallelepiped surface, a filter bent in a bellows shape may be used. When the bellows-like filter is used, the area becomes larger than that of the filter 10, and the maintenance cycle can be further extended.
Further, a filter having a functionality such as a HEPA filter, an activated carbon filter, an anti-electric filter, an electric dust collector, or a dust collector may be added downstream of the filter 10. In this case, since the filter 10 is arranged in parallel to the suction port 3, the attachment structure to the filter 10 is easy.
Moreover, although the air cleaner 100 has been described in the present embodiment, it can also be applied to an air conditioner including the air cleaner 100 of the air cleaner 100. For example, a suction port 3 for sucking indoor air may be provided on both side surfaces of a floor-standing indoor unit of the air conditioner, and a filter 10 may be provided on the downstream side of each suction port 3. In this case, indoor air is sucked by a sirocco fan provided in the floor-standing indoor unit, and the air is heat-exchanged by a heat exchanger according to cooling operation or heating operation.
