It can also control other devices in a smart homes, smart office, connected environment, or on the Internet. The invention accesses the permitted information from the server connected to specific wireless network with the help of dynamic application. The invention relates to dynamic application to connect to server and transform into that specific wlan's application.
BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
[0002] The Mobile Device/Mobile Phone is lightweight and portable. The Mobile Device/Wireless Phone comprises a built-in display, a microphone, speaker, keyboard, high speed transmit receive device, such as a wireless local area network (WLAN) or 802.11a, b, c, x or Wi-Fi radio, Bluetooth, Ethernet, USB 1.0, USB 2.0, USB 3.0, ZigBee, Global Positioning System (GPS), and may connect to an external display, or use a browser to connect to an Internet website. The Mobile Device/Mobile Phone may have a digital video or still camera including a front f cing camera, a rear facing camera, a plurality of flashes including LED flashes, an image sensor, a motion sensor, and a light sensor. The Mobile Device/Mobile Phone may- have additional input/output ports for connectivity to other devices. The Mobile Device/Mobile Phone has a transmitter, receiver, a digital signal processors), other processors, controller, display electronics and audio/video electronics. These functional blocks may be implemented using standard electronic, mechanical, or electromechanical components or custom electronic, mechanical, or electromechanical components by those knowledgeable in the art.
[0003]The home environment contains an increasing number of connected Internet Protocol (IP) enabled wired and wireless devices. There is a need to control appliances in the home using a mobile device/mobile phone or a network server or doud monitoring service. The Mobile Device (MD)/Mobile Phone (MP) referred to in this disclosure may be a Cellular Telephone (CT), Wireless Phone, Smart Phone, Tablet Computer, handheld computer, touch screen enabled user computing device, multifunction wireless device with software applications, Voice over IP Wireless Device or Wireless Video Phone. Various embodiments of the Mobile Device/Mobile Phone may be created. The Mobile Device/Mobile Phone can execute complex tasks previously resident on the personal computer, workstation, server, or a mainframe computer; more particularly, the Mobile Device/Mobile Phone leverages the tremendous power of both the Intranet and the Internet, local and network servers, and public, private, and virtual cloud servers. Intelligent telephony, appliances, devices, and equipment will find increasing use in modern society. There is a need for one single universal, handheld, lightweight, transportable, intelligent device that can compute, command, and control all these intelligent devices.
[0004]The Mobile Device/Mobile Phone combines transmitting and receiving information, performing standard computing functions through use of a network or local server, interacting and commanding many intelligent peripheral devices around the home or office through wired or wireless means, telephony, handwriting recognition, barcode creating, reading and printing; magnetic stripe creating, reading and printing; electronic mail, which may include audio, text/graphics, and video; mass storage device and display features, video input/output, imaging, audio input/output, voice mail capability, voice synthesis, language translation with text to voice and voice to text capability built into one multi-function device.
[0005] Location-based services (LBS) are a general class of computer program-level services that use location data to control features. As such LBS is an information service and has a number of uses in social networking today as an entertainment service, which is accessible with mobile devices through the mobile network and which uses information on the geographical position of the mobile device. This has become more and more important with the expansion of the Smartphone and tablet markets as well. Location Based Services (LBS) are a part of virtually all control and policy systems which work in computers today. They have evolved from simple synchronization based service models to authenticated and complex tools for implementing virtually any location based service model or facility. LBS is the ability to open and close specific data objects based on the use of location and/or time as (controls and triggers) or as part of complex cryptographic key or hashing systems and the data they provide access to. Location based services today are a part of everything from control systems to smart weapons. They are actively used trillions of times a day and may be one of the most heavily used application-layer decision framework in computing today.
[0006] The Mobile Device/Mobile Phone may be multi-band such as dual- band, tri-band, quad-band, or n-band, and an international wireless device. This two way or multi-way communication may be either wired or wireless. The Mobile Device/Mobile Phone may connect with a communication line or another intelligent appliance using a network directly/peer to peer or using a server. The Mobile Device/Mobile Phone may also work in tandem with multiple embedded radios, separated wireless 802.11 or cellular access points and transmit/receive devices that may exist in other appliances or work with a central host modem or transmit/receive unit.
[0007]In this age of the Intranet and the Internet, there is a trend for the computing power and software protocols to move away from the user location, such as the personal computer, to the local server/network server/cloud. The Mobile Device/Mobile Phone may access an application store or the Internet to download applications configured to run on the Mobile Device/Mobile Phone. The Mobile Device/Mobile Phone may use a network cloud server for storage of content and automatic sharing of the content across multiple devices.
[0008] The current wireless technology that is being used includes Bluetooth, Infrared, Wi-Fi which can be enabled with the help of wireless routers to create a local area network and it also provides a gateway to the internet. The wireless routers are either open or secured with a password. The password is encrypted with various protocols such as WPA, WPA 2 and the end user must know the password in order to access the wireless network.
[0009] Most of the traders and service organisations have developed simple applications whereby the customer or end user may access the business or permitted information and also enabling transactions. There are many services that can be enabled with the help of a Ian but the only problem is that several applications need to be installed depending upon the necessity of the user and each installation consumes huge space in the mobile device affecting its performance and the installation process is also tedious. The present invention overcomes all these problems by having a single dynamic application which as permitted by the concerned traders or organisations, accesses various features such as file transfer, mail, chat, information services, ordering items, controlling other devices and other application services through WLAN, based on the need of the user. This does not consume space in the mobile device as it is all obtained only on connecting to the wlan and later removed when not in range through this inventive single dynamic application and it also avoids storing multiple applications thus saving the storage space of the device and time.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION
[0010] "A system of Dynamic Application for Accessing Secure WLAN and Enabling Services" provides different services based on the wlan which is connected through a single dynamic application. Embodiments present in this application provide a wireless network with several access points connected to the communication infrastructure. In embodiments, residential or business customers are provided with a network interface which is a router (e.g., a digital subscriber line (DSL) modem) having a wireless transceiver.
[OOii] This invention is a slight variation of the Mobile Device/Mobile Phone that enables the basic Mobile Device/Mobile Phone possesses the electronics and computing power to transmit data to and receive data from either a network server (the network server can be a PC or cloud servers or cloud databases or cloud processors or cloud memory systems) or intelligent peripheral or intelligent appliance through either wireless means, to serve as a transmit and receive hub. Using the computing power resident on the network server a user can perform all standard-computing functions from the Mobile Device/Mobile Phone. The Mobile Device/Mobile Phone has a transmitter, receiver, a digital signal processor, and controller, display electronics and audio electronics, which are available as chips. These chips may be standard integrated circuits or custom built. There can be multiple transmit/receive components built into the Mobile Device/Mobile Phone. This application description data sufficiently helps the dynamic application to present the User Interface to the end user to utilize the services within the local area network easily and efficiently as shown in Fig 3.
[0014] The major issue in setting up WIFI access point for this system is that there may be many Wireless LANs available in the surroundings and the End User application should select and display only the networks which have the App host.
[0015] In order to overcome this issue, encryption of identification, Service name and password in the Service Set Identifier (SSID) of the access point and decryption in End User application. The encryption algorithm involves Wi-Fi access point's unique MAC address, Service name and password and application specific number as shown in Fig 4 and 5. Only those network id's that pass the decryption function will be identified as Application specific network. This acts as a filter between all other networks and the application specific network as shown in Fig 1. The working of the end user application includes
1. Listing the user of nearby specific Wi-Fi access points which contain the apphost.
2. On user input, the mobile device is connected to the secure wlan automatically, and then connects with the apphost to receive application description data.
3. The dynamic application automatically transforms and displays the user interface to utilize the services within the wlan as shown in Fig 2.
