Abstract
The proposed model of skis, with the exception of the middle portion where a person stands, is narrowed on the bottom portion, at different angles and different widths, depending on a specific situation, in order to reduce friction with snow, wherein the degree and angle of narrowing in the tail portion of the skis may differ from that of the front portion, and the narrowing is carried out gradually, from a foot to an extremity, in such a way as to not affect the stability of the skis. Thus, the physical load on an individual is lightened, and, for athletes, additional speed is achieved from the same effort. Moreover, the proposed model of skis is significantly lighter due to chamfering. The skis are more stable in soft snow, as, in soft snow, the skis rest on the entire bottom area thereof, which is greater than the bottom platform of regular skis with the same standard surface.
