2. Description of the Related Art A branch wire harness that includes an electric wire bundle in which a plurality of electric wires are bundled and from which the terminal portions of some electric wires are branched from the electric wire bundle is known.
For the purpose of protecting the electric wires constituting the branch wire harness, a tape may be wound around the electric wire bundle, or the electric wire bundle may be surrounded by a synthetic resin exterior body (see Patent Document 1).
When winding the tape around the wire bundle, it takes time to wind the tape so that the tape does not unwind at the branching point, and the manufacturing process becomes complicated.
On the other hand, when the wire bundle is surrounded by the exterior body, it is necessary to divide the exterior body so that the branch line can be derived or to provide a cutout in the exterior body. With such a configuration, it takes time to process the exterior body, and the manufacturing process becomes complicated. In addition, when vibration is applied to the branch wire harness during transportation or use, the outer body and the electric wire may collide or be rubbed, and the insulation of the electric wire may be damaged by the cut of the outer body. .
The branch wire harness disclosed in the present specification is configured by an electric wire including a core wire and an insulating coating that covers the core wire, and includes a harness main body including a main wire and a branch wire branched from the main wire, and the main wire. A branch wire harness having a cylindrical outer body to be mounted, the outer body having a slit that extends along an axial direction and that can lead out the branch line to the outside. While having a pair of lip | rip parts arrange | positioned facing each other, the part except the said lip | rip part becomes a tube main body, and the said lip | rip part is comprised with the softer material than the said tube main body.
According to the above configuration, the pair of lip portions can be pulled out from the exterior body surrounding the main line while holding the branch line so as to be sandwiched softly. In addition, because the exterior body holds the branch wire across it, the harness body and the exterior body vibrate in the same phase when vibration is applied during transportation or use of the branch wire harness. The collision and rubbing between the exterior body and the harness body can be suppressed to some extent. Accordingly, it is possible to avoid damage to the insulation coating due to collision or rubbing between the exterior body and the harness body. Further, since it is sufficient to draw the branch line at a desired location and hold it by the pair of lip portions, the manufacturing process can be simplified.
Said structure WHEREIN: The said lip | rip part may be comprised with the softer material than the said insulation coating.
According to such a configuration, damage to the insulation coating can be reliably avoided.
In the above configuration, each of the pair of lip portions has a lip surface facing the counterpart lip portion, and a distance between the pair of lip surfaces is smaller than an outer diameter of the branch line. It does not matter.
According to such a structure, the retention strength of the branch line by a pair of lip | rip parts can be ensured.
Said structure WHEREIN: The width | variety of the said lip | rip part may be larger than the outer diameter of the said branch line.
According to such a configuration, even if the lip portion is scraped due to friction with the branch line or the like, the branch line does not contact the tube body. Thereby, it can avoid that a hard tube main body contact | abuts a branch line and an insulation coating is damaged.
In the above configuration, each of the pair of lip portions has a lip surface facing the counterpart lip portion, and each of the pair of lip surfaces is convex toward the counterpart lip surface. It may be a curved surface.
As described above, the lip surface, that is, the surface in contact with the branch line is a curved surface and has no sharp corners, so that damage to the insulating coating can be avoided reliably.
According to the technique disclosed in this specification, it is possible to provide a branch wire harness that can avoid damage to the insulation coating with a simple manufacturing process.

Thereby, the terminal unit 11E is held at a desired position. The pair of lip portions 22 and 22 are in close contact with each other at portions other than the portion where the terminal portion 11E is led out.
As described above, according to the present embodiment, the branch wire harness 1 includes the harness body 10 and the exterior body 20. The harness body 10 includes a plurality of electric wires 11 including a core wire 12 and an insulating coating 13 that covers the core wire 12. The plurality of electric wires 11 are bundled into an electric wire bundle 11B, and the terminal portions 11E of the electric wires 11 are branched from the electric wire bundle 11B. The exterior body 20 is exteriorized by the wire bundle 11B. The exterior body 20 includes a pair of lip portions 22, 22 that extend along the axial direction and have a slit 21 that can lead out the terminal portion 11 </ b> E to the outside, and are opposed to each other across the slit 21. The portion excluding the pair of lip portions 22 and 22 is a tube body 23, and the lip portions 22 and 22 are made of a softer material than the tube body 23.
According to the above configuration, the pair of lip portions 22 and 22 can be pulled out from the outer package 20 surrounding the wire bundle 11B while holding the terminal portion 11E of the wire 11 so as to be softly sandwiched. In addition, since the exterior body 20 holds the terminal portion 11E between the harness body 10 and the exterior body 20 when vibration is applied during transportation or use of the branch wire harness 1, the exterior body 20 is in phase. Therefore, the collision and rubbing between the exterior body 20 and the harness body 10 can be suppressed to some extent. Accordingly, it is possible to avoid damage to the insulation coating due to collision or rubbing between the exterior body and the harness body. Moreover, since it is sufficient to pull out the terminal portion 11E at a desired location and hold it by the pair of lip portions 22 and 22, the manufacturing process can be simplified.
Further, the lip portions 22 and 22 are made of a material softer than the insulating coating 13. According to such a configuration, damage to the insulating coating 13 can be reliably avoided.
Each of the pair of lip portions 22, 22 has a lip surface 22 </ b> F facing the counterpart lip portion 22, and the distance between the pair of lip surfaces 22 </ b> F, 22 </ b> F is larger than the outer diameter of the electric wire 11. It is getting smaller. According to such a configuration, the holding force of the terminal portion 11E by the pair of lip portions 22 and 22 can be ensured.
Furthermore, each of the pair of lip portions 22 and 22 has a width W larger than the outer diameter D1 of the electric wire 11. According to such a configuration, even if the lip portions 22 and 22 are scraped due to friction with the terminal portion 11E, the terminal portion 11E does not contact the tube body 23. Thereby, it can avoid that the hard tube main body 23 contact | abuts to the terminal part 11E, and the insulation coating 13 is damaged.
In addition, each of the pair of lip surfaces 22F, 22F is a curved surface that is convex toward the mating lip surface 22F. Thus, the lip surface 22F, that is, the surface in contact with the terminal portion 11E is a curved surface and has no sharp corners, so that damage to the insulating coating 13 can be reliably avoided.
 <変形例>
<Modification>
As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the branch wire harness 30 of the modified example includes a harness body 10 and an exterior body 31 that is attached to the harness body 10 and has a slit 32, as in the embodiment. . This modified example is different from the embodiment in that the pair of lip portions 33 and 33 of the exterior body 31 are not in close contact with each other and a gap is provided between the lip surfaces 33F and 33F facing each other.
In a state where the outer package 31 is not covered with the wire bundle 11B, the distance D2 between the pair of lip surfaces 33F and 33F is smaller than the outer diameter D1 of the wire 11.
In the state where the exterior body 31 is externally covered with the wire bundle 11B, the terminal portion 11E of each wire 11 is drawn out from between the pair of lip portions 33 and 33. The pair of lip portions 33 and 33 are compressed when the electric wire 11 is passed between them, and are brought into close contact with the outer periphery of the terminal portion 11E so as to sandwich the terminal portion 11E from both sides by elastic restoring force. Thereby, the terminal unit 11E is held at a desired position. In the pair of lip portions 33 and 33, the distance D2 between the pair of lip surfaces 33 </ b> F and 33 </ b> F is smaller than the outer diameter D <b> 1 of the electric wire 11 except for the portion where the terminal portion 11 </ b> E is led out.
In the present modification, configurations other than those described above are the same as those in the embodiment, and the same configurations are denoted by the same reference numerals and description thereof is omitted.
