Abstract

A nozzle arrangement adapted to be fitted to a pressurised vessel or container (101) or to a pressurized chamber of a vessel or container to permit fluid from said pressurised source to be automatically dispensed under pressure at set intervals and set doses over a period of time without the aid of an additional power source such as a battery or electricity, said nozzle arrangement having a body (106) that defines an inlet (120), an outlet (131), and an internal fluid flow passageway (137a-g) through which fluid can flow from said inlet (120) to said outlet (131), said nozzle arrangement also having an inlet valve (159) and an outlet valve (150) and a dose chamber (136) with an inlet and outlet and a means (112) of regulating the rate of flow of fluid into said dose chamber (136) by moving at least one part (130) inside the body (106) into one of two or more positions with each position exposing a different fluidic route (137a-g) into the dose chamber (136) from the body (106) of the device.
