Disclosed are a conference discussion method and system for a video conference. The method comprises the following steps: turning on all microphones after a user selects a discussion mode; after receiving voice information from the microphone, performing word segmentation on the voice information, and determining whether a keyword after the word segmentation is within the range of the conference discussion; and if the keyword is within the range of the conference discussion, playing the voice information.
