Description
Rifle
The invention relates to firearms, especially the invention relates to rifles. In particular the invention relates to a rifle according to the preamble of claim 1 .
In US patent application publication 2013/0239450 A1 is disclosed a grip con- figuration having a dual position arm grip that allows the carrier to ergonomical- ly hold a weapon comfortably for sustained periods of time, which may prove to prevent wrist, hand or arm injury. The grip comprises an adapter having a top portion and a bottom portion, the top portion to receive a lower receiver of a rifle, the bottom portion comprising at least two locking tabs adjacent to a base of a shaft extending from the bottom portion of the adapter; a handle having a cavity disposed in an upper portion to mate with the shaft, and at least two pockets adjacent to the cavity to mate with the at least two locking tabs, the handle rotatable about an axis of the shaft when the at least two pockets are disengaged from the at least two locking tabs; and a spring loaded screw to secure the handle against the adapter, the at least two pockets of the handle engaged against the at least two locking tabs of the adapter in a first state of the spring loaded screw, the handle rotatable about the axis of the shaft in a second state of the spring loaded screw.
In US patent application publication 2014/144058 A1 is disclosed a pistol grip mounted to an automatic or semi-automatic rifle, for accepting holding pressure by user's trigger hand, with said pistol grip having hand locating features, with at least one of said pistol hand locating features rotated asymmetrically from an alignment parallel to said rifles barrel.
An object of the present invention is to create a new type of a rifle, which is ar- ranged modifiable by the user in respect of the grip.
An object of the present invention is to provide a rifle in which disadvantages relating to grip modification and replacement are eliminated or at least minimized.
An object of the invention is to provide a rifle system which is arranged modifi- able by the user such that the grip of the rifle is arranged replaceable by the user.
An object of the present invention is also to provide a new type of rifle system which includes at least two grips of different types interchangeable by the user with their applicable attachments.
In order to achieve the above objects and those which will come apparent later the device is characterized by the features of claim 1 . Advantageous embodiments and features are disclosed in the dependent claims.
According to the invention the rifle comprises a grip, which grip is arranged interchangeable by the user.
According to an advantageous feature the grip is attached to stock of the rifle releasably by fastening means and by a form-fitting attachment arrangement.
According to an advantageous feature the fastening means comprise only one screw to be fastened to a fastening hole in the stock of the rifle. The fastening means can also be quick-release fastening means other type of easily opena- ble and closable fastening means. According to an advantageous feature the stock and the grip are of synthetic material . Thus there is no need to use additional spring means with the fastening means of the grip of the rifle according to the invention.
According to an advantageous feature the stock is plastic material.
According to an advantageous feature the grip is plastic material. According to an advantageous feature the different grips have different ergonomics such that the same rifle is usable in hunting of different games or in different types of track shooting or in different positions of the user. This also provides for the possibility of smaller grips for users with smaller hands and vice versa bigger grips for users with bigger hands. According to an advantageous feature the grip has a pattern with asymmetrical shape that varies friction in different areas such that good support hand ergonomics is provided and thus the shooter does not have to use excessive force to hold the rifle. Different types of grips may have different patterns with asymmetrical shape.
According to the invention the rifle system comprises at least two grips of different types interchangeable by the user.
According to an advantageous feature at least one grip is a pistol grip.
By the invention and its advantageous features several advantages are achieved:
In the following the invention is described in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawing in which in figure 1 is schematically shown an example of a rifle according to the invention with one type of the grip, in figure 2 is schematically shown an example of a rifle according to the invention with another type of the grip, in figure 3 is schematically shown an example of a rifle according to the invention with the grip released, in figure 4 is schematically shown a closer view of an example of a rifle accord- ing to the invention with the grip attached and in figure 5 is schematically shown a closer view of an example of a rifle according to the invention with the grip released, when detached and in figure 6 is schematically shown a closer view of an example a rifle according to the invention with another type of the grip released to be attached. In the following description and in the accompanying drawing by same reference signs similar or corresponding parts and part-components are denoted unless otherwise mentioned.
In the example of figures 1 - 6 is shown an example of a rifle 10 the rifle comprises a grip 12 which grip 12 is arranged interchangeable by the user. The grip 12 is attached to a stock 1 1 of the rifle 20 releasably by fastening means 15. The fastening means 15 advantageously comprise only one screw 15 located on a through hole 16 in the grip 12 and attached to a corresponding fastening hole 14 in the stock 1 1 . The fastening means 15 can also be quick- release fastening means other type of easily openable and closable fastening
means. The front end of the grip 12 is advantageously attached to the rifle 10 by a form-fitting attachment arrangement 17, 18.
The stock 1 1 and the grip 12 are of synthetic material. The grip 12 has a pattern 13 with asymmetrical shape that varies friction in different areas. The rifle 10 system comprises at least two grips 12 of different types and interchangeable by the user with their applicable fastening means 15.
In figures 1 is shown an example of the rifle 10 with one type of the grip 12 and in figure 2 is shown an example of the rifle with another type of the grip 12. The different types of grips make it possible to use the same rifle for different purposes for example for game, track shooting, etc. and/or for different positions of the user, for example for shooting in standing or in lying position. The grips 12 can also be different in color for example indicating by color the different type of usage. The pattern 13 can also be different in different grips 12.
In figure 3 is the grip 12 released from the stock 12 of the rifle 10 and the screw 15 are released from the holes 14, 16 and form-fitting attachment 17, 18 is opened.
