Description

Multifunctional lamp having night-lighting mode FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to the field of illumination appliance, in particular to a multifunctional lamp capable of being a night light and a Bluetooth music player, as well as capable of body movement detection.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Lamps, which are essential illumination appliances in daily life, have been used widely. However a conventional lamp, which has an only illumination function, cannot meet the requirement of modern life, therefore the lamp has been improved to function more applications in various aspects. Chinese patent application CN201010568880.4 disclosed a LED induction lamp, comprising alight detection module, a microwave detection module and a data collecting and processing unit to switch on/off the LED lamp automatically according to the ambient lightness and body movement; however the LED lamp has only one mode, i.e. illumination mode, when it switched on. Chinese utility model patent CN201111592Y disclosed an induction wall lamp with additional LED nightlights, the wall lamp can work in night-lighting mode and infrared induction mode such that it can achieve different illumination mode according to the ambient lightness and body movement, by utilizing photo-resistor control circuit and infrared detection circuit; however, different illuminators and complex circuits were required therein.

FIG. 3illustrates the circuit of the multifunctional lamp according to the present invention, wherein the external power supply can be wide AC power (110VAC 60HZ-240VAC 50HZ) , which is converted to DC power 12VDC by the AC/DC power converter installed in the power box 4.
As mentioned above, the illuminants are located in, and electric-connected to, the lamp holders. The control circuit comprises a CPU 18 and three switches K1, K2 and K3, where the control circuit is powered by 5V DC, and the three switches are controlled by the CPU automatically. An output of the power converter is connected to the lamp holders through the first switch K1, and to an anode of the rechargeable batteries through the second switch K2. The anode of the rechargeable batteries is connected to the lamp holders through the third switch K3.
When wall switch 3 is in first position, where the first switch K1 and the second switch K2 are closed, and the third switch K3 is open. The power converter in the power box 4 therefore will supply power to the lamp holders and the rechargeable batteries in the battery box 5, and the multifunctional lamp will work in the normal lighting mode, that is, LEDs will be lit, and the Bluetooth module 16will be powered and ready to work. The present invention also configures a Bluetooth indicator on the Bluetooth module 16, indicating a work status of the Bluetooth module 16, for example, the Bluetooth indicator will be flashing when the Bluetooth module is disconnected, or the Bluetooth indicator will keep lighting when the Bluetooth module works. In the above scenario, the multifunctional lamp works in the normal lighting mode, the motion sensor module will be unavailable.
When wall switch 3 is in second position, where the first switch K1 and the second switch K2 are open, and the third switch K3 is closed. In this scenario, the multifunctional lamp will work in the night-lighting mode, the illuminants will be powered by the rechargeable batteries in the battery box 5, in the preferred embodiment, the motion sensor module 17, which is provided between the third switch K3 and lamp holders, is powered by the rechargeable batteries in the battery box 5 as well. In the embodiment, the motion sensor module 17 is the microwave induction module, anyway it can be selected from other motion induction module, for instant, human body infrared induction module.
The microwave induction module is configured with light control function. When an ambient lightness is greater than a preset value (65 lux or more) , microwave induction function is disabled; when the ambient lightness is less than a preset value (in the range of 2 Lux-60 Lux) , microwave induction function is enabled.
Therefore, when the ambient is bright, the microwave induction function will be unavailable, and LEDs will be blacked out. On the contrary, when the ambient lightness goes down under the preset value, the microwave induction function will be activated, and body movement can be detected within 2-8 meters. Once body movement has been detected, LEDs can be kept lighting for a preset period, namely 30 seconds to 30 minutes. However when no body movement has been detected in the period, LEDs will be blacked out automatically after the period. In the night-lighting mode, Bluetooth module does not work. The rechargeable batteries can work for 20 hours, when LEDs was lit at 30 lumens.
In the embodiment, when the lamp works in the normal lighting mode, LEDs are kept lighting, and a Bluetooth speaker can play music via the Bluetooth module. When the lamp works in the night-lighting mode, LEDs can be kept lighting for a preset period, namely 30 seconds to 30 minutes when body movement has been detected. If no body movement has been detected in the period, LEDs will be blacked out automatically after the period.
Additional switches may be provided to enable or disable the night-lighting mode.
