Abstract

The invention relates to a pre-cooling sleeve for a vertical multi-tube ice-making machine, which comprises an icemaker (1) provided with an outer wall, sleeve or ferrule inside of which is disposed a series of vertical tubes (2) containing water for freezing, the icemaker comprising an inlet (4) for a refrigerant gas and an outlet (3) for said refrigerant gas. The pre-cooling sleeve (5) comprises a channel (8) for recovering the coldness of the refrigerant gas, which has an inlet (6) disposed in the lower part of the pre-cooling sleeve (5) and an outlet (7) disposed in the upper part of the sleeve (5), said duct following a helical path or a path of any other geometry and being able to reduce the temperature from 21° C at the inlet to 7° C at the outlet.
