2. About Housing Device Next, the housing device 100 will be described. FIG. 3 is a front perspective view showing the appearance of only the housing device 100 of the present embodiment, and FIG. 4 is a rear perspective view seen from the opposite side of FIG. The housing device 100 has a substantially gourd shape in which a substantially circular ear hole facing portion 141 and an extension portion 142 are connected to each other. An acoustic driver 180 is provided on the inner side of the extension 142 when the earphone device 1 is attached. An acoustic driver (not shown) is provided in the acoustic driver 180, and the acoustic driver generates sound and transmits the sound into the ear hole of the wearer. In FIG. 3, the state which removed the ear cap 170 is shown. Further, the outer peripheral portion 148 of the housing device 100 has a concave cross section, and the mounting portion 210 of the ear hook 200 is easily fitted.
When the earphone device 1 is worn, the inner surface of the ear hole facing portion 141 is closed with an inner lid 160 made of silicon or the like. Since the inner surface of the ear hole facing portion 141 comes into contact with the side surface portion of the wearer's face when the earphone device 1 is worn, by providing the inner lid 160, the feeling on the skin at the time of wearing becomes smooth. This can improve the water resistance by preventing moisture from entering the interior. With regard to waterproofing, it is possible to perform nano-coating or the like on the surface instead of providing the inner lid 160. However, waterproofing by coating or the like can be performed by repeatedly attaching and detaching devices such as the external communication terminal 145 in particular. Since there is a risk that the coating may come off as the process is performed, a function such as waterproofing can surely be achieved by closing with the inner lid 160. As the external communication terminal 145, a USB terminal, a MicroUSB terminal, or the like can be used, and the external communication terminal 145 can be used to charge a device.
Further, the inner lid 160 is provided with a fold line portion 164, which can be bent at the fold line portion 164 when the inner lid 160 is detached. By providing the fold line portion 164 in this manner, the inner lid 160 can be easily opened and closed. Further, even if the inner lid 160 is not removed, the device can be connected to the external communication terminal 145 provided inside or the power button 147 can be operated simply by folding the folded portion 164 and opening a part of the inner lid 160. Etc. can be performed. Further, if the opening / closing of the inner lid 160 is repeated without the folding line portion 164, the inner lid 160 may be warped. However, when the folding is performed at the folding line portion 164 to open / close and remove, the inner lid 160 is warped. Can be reduced.
Further, as shown in FIG. 4, the outer surface of the housing device 100 is a button structure portion 112 that collectively covers the ear hole facing portion 141 and the extension portion 142, and is slightly smaller than the button structure portion 112. It is closed with the lid 110. Inside the button structure portion 112, an ear hole facing portion button 124 described later is provided near the center portion of the ear hole facing portion 141, and an extension portion button 122 described later is also provided near the center portion of the extension portion 142. In addition, a cut portion 114 is provided at each of the button structure portions 112 facing the ear hole facing portion button 124 and the extension portion button 122, and can be moved up and down somewhat by the wearer's pressing. Therefore, when the wearer presses a portion corresponding to the position of the ear hole facing portion button 124 and the extension portion button 122 of the outer lid 110, the cut portion 114 of the button structure portion 112 is pressed, and the ear hole facing portion button 124 and The extension button 122 is pressed to perform various functions to be described later.
Also, the outer lid 110 is formed by molding, and molding is performed by attaching a filter by IML (Insert Molding Laminate) to the surface at the time of molding. By forming the outer lid 110 in this way, the color, pattern, texture, etc. of the outer lid 110 can be changed by replacing the color, pattern, texture of the surface filter, so the surface color can be easily changed. It is possible to change the pattern, texture, etc. Furthermore, the outer surface of the housing device 100 is divided into two parts, ie, the outer lid 110 and the button structure 112, so that the appearance of the surface pattern (in this example, the revolving pattern is repeated) is hindered. The notch 114 is formed in the button structure 112 while maintaining a sense of unity without giving the design, and the ear hole facing button 124 and the extension button 122 can be appropriately operated. Further, by covering the outer side of the button structure 112 with the outer lid 110, the size of the notch 114 formed in the button structure 112 can be increased to almost the entire area covered by the outer lid 110. . Therefore, even when wearing gloves or the like such as skis or snowboards, the operation can be easily performed.
FIG. 5 shows the housing device 100 shown in FIG. 3 with the inner lid 160 removed. A substrate 120 is provided inside, an extension button 122 is provided near the center of the extension 142 of the substrate 120, and an ear hole facing button 124 is also provided near the center of the ear hole facing portion 141. It has been.
Various functions can be assigned to each button. For example, the ear canal facing button 124 is used as a volume control button, and the extension button 122 can be started by a short press operation. And performing a long pressing operation (so-called long pressing) to assign the operation to block (mute) the detection of the voice of the microphone (132, 134). In addition, the function of each button is assigned such that the function is appropriately switched by using a mobile phone application or the like. In deciding what function to assign to each button, it is preferable to assign according to the frequency with which each button is used and the importance of the function. As an example, the volume adjustment function assigned to the ear canal facing button 124 is assumed to be frequently switched depending on the surrounding environment (sound volume) at the time of use, etc., so that it does not share with other functions. It can be said that it is preferable that the function is assigned to the ear hole facing part button 124 as an independent function.
FIG. 6 is a side view of the housing device 100. As shown in FIG. 6, the outer peripheral portion 148 of the main body has a concave cross section, and the mounting portion 210 of the ear hook 200 is configured to be easily fitted.
7 and 8 are diagrams showing the earphone device 1 in an exploded state, in which FIG. 7 is a view from the front (the surface that becomes the wearer's head when worn), and FIG. 8 is the opposite. It is a figure from the surface (surface which becomes an outer side at the time of mounting | wearing). Each configuration will be described again, focusing on the positional relationship.
A main body 140 is provided at the center of the housing device 100 in the thickness direction, and the main body 140 has a substantially gourd-like shape by connecting a substantially circular ear hole facing portion 141 and an extension 142. Inside the main body 140, microphone attachment portions (143, 144) are provided near the boundary between the ear canal facing portion 141 and the extension portion 142, and near the position that is forward when attached, respectively. Microphones (132, 134) are attached inside (143, 144). In addition, a microphone hole 149 is provided at a position of the outer peripheral portion facing the microphone mounting portion 144 of the main body 140, and the sound reaches the microphone 134 attached to the microphone mounting portion 144 through the microphone hole 149. Has been. A waterproof ventilation filter (not shown) is provided on the surface of each microphone (132, 134) for waterproofing. The function of the microphones (132, 134) will be described later.
An external communication terminal 145 for connecting a device for inputting and outputting information and a power button 147 are provided on the inner surface of the main body 140. The main body is also charged via the external communication terminal 145. The external communication terminal 145 and the power button 147 are normally made invisible from the outside by closing the inner lid 160.
A substrate 120 is provided outside the main body 140, and an extension button 122 and an ear hole facing button 124 are provided on the outer surface of the substrate 120. Further, the coupling shafts (146a, 146b) provided in the main body part 140 and the coupling holes (126a, 126b) provided in the substrate 120 are fitted to each other, thereby aligning them.
The outer surface of the substrate 120 is provided with a button structure portion 112 and an outer lid 110, and is configured to cover the ear hole facing portion 141 and the extension portion 142. Cut portions 112 are provided at locations facing the ear hole facing portion button 124 and the extension portion button 122 of the button structure portion 112, respectively, and can be slightly moved up and down by the wearer's pressing. Therefore, when the wearer presses a portion corresponding to the position of the ear hole facing portion button 124 and the extension portion button 122 of the outer lid 110, the cut portion 114 of the button structure portion 112 is pressed and provided on the substrate 120 inside thereof. The extended portion button 122 and the ear canal facing portion button 124 can be operated.
An inner lid 160 is provided inside the main body 140 and is configured to cover the extension 142. Then, the ear hook 200 is attached to the outer peripheral portion 148 of the main body 140 of the housing device 100. The ear hook 200 is roughly composed of a mounting portion 210 and an ear hooking portion 220, and the upper portion of the ear hooking portion 220 is configured to be put on the ear of the wearer when being worn, and the mounting portion 210 is a housing. The outer peripheral portion 148 of the main body 140 of the apparatus 100 is attached.
3. Next, the ear hook 200 will be described in detail with reference to FIG. FIG. 9 is a perspective view of the ear hook 200. In this specification, what has a function which hold | maintains the housing apparatus 100 in a certain form, and hold | maintains a position by putting on a wearer's ear shall be called an ear hook.
The ear hook 200 is formed of silicon rubber as an example, but can be appropriately changed. The earphone device of the present invention is generally required to be waterproof because it is used in various environments. For example, when used in a cold region, the earphone device is preferably made of a heat-insulating material. When used on the ground, it is preferable to use a material having heat resistance. Since the ear hook 200 can be attached to and detached from the housing device 100, the ear hook 200 made of an optimal material may be attached and used according to the environment in which it is used.
The ear hook 200 is composed of a mounting part 210 and an ear hooking part 220 configured in a substantially gourd shape in accordance with the shape of the main body part 140 of the housing device 100. The ear hooking portion 220 is configured to extend from above and below the mounting portion 210, and a portion extending from the upper portion of the mounting portion 210 is bent halfway so that the bent portion is applied to the upper portion of the wearer's ear when worn. It is configured. Further, the ear hooking portion 220 further extends from a portion on the wearer's ear, and forms a ring shape as a whole. As a result, the ear hooking portion 220 is worn so as to surround the wearer's ear when worn, and the ear hooking portion 220 is not only applied to the upper portion of the wearer's ear at the upper portion but also at the lower portion of the ear. It comes into contact and can be contacted at a plurality of locations, so that it can be more securely attached to the ear. The ear hook 220 is preferably used by replacing the ear hook with an optimal size according to the size of the wearer's ear or face.
In addition, a part of the ear hook 220 is provided with an expansion / contraction part 222 which is formed in a bellows shape and is more easily expanded / contracted than other parts of the ear hook 200. The stretchable portion 222 can be worn on the wearer's ear while the ear hook 220 is stretched at the time of wearing, so that it can be easily worn and can be reliably returned to its original state after wearing. Can be installed. In the present embodiment, one expansion / contraction part 222 is provided on the upper portion of the ear hooking part 220, but the position and number of the expansion / contraction parts 222 can be changed as appropriate.
The ear hook 200 is formed so that the entire surface is on the same plane. The ear hook 200 formed in this manner may depend on the shape of the wearer's ear or face, particularly at the lower part of the ear hook 200. There may be a gap between 200 and the face of the wearer. In order to prevent this and improve the mounting stability, the ear hook 200 of the present embodiment has a wire (not shown) built in the lower part of the ear hook 200 (F portion in the figure). It is also possible to adjust the shape so as to conform to the shape of the wearer's ear or face by deforming inward according to the shape of the wearer's ear or face.
As another method for improving the mounting stability, as shown in FIG. 10, the lower portion of the ear hook 200 (G portion in the figure) is formed in advance so as to be deformed at a predetermined angle inward. Is possible. When formed in this manner, the ear loop follows the roundness of the face side of the wearer at the time of wearing so that there is no gap with the face side at the lower part of the ear loop, so that the stability at the time of wearing can be improved.
Also, a windbreak countermeasure recess 216 and a microphone hole 218 are provided in a part of the mounting portion 210 of the ear hook 200. The functions of the wind-cut countermeasure recess 216 and the microphone hole 218 will be described later.
4). Next, the ear cap 170 attached to the acoustic driver 180 will be described. The ear cap 170 is made of a soft material such as silicon, and includes a cap portion 174 and a pressing portion 172. The cap portion 174 is configured to be at an appropriate angle with respect to the acoustic driver 180 when the ear cap 170 is attached to the acoustic driver 180 so that the cap portion 174 is inserted into the ear hole of the wearer when worn. Further, the pressing portion 172 is formed so as to press the inner surface of the ear hole of the wearer at the time of wearing, and the pressing portion 172 presses the inner surface of the ear hole, thereby improving the stability at the time of wearing.
FIG. 11 is a view showing a modified example of the ear cap 170. FIG. 11a is a short type, and since the ear cap 170 is located at a location close to the outside, an open type earphone device that can hear not only the sound generated by the acoustic driver but also the external sound when worn is provided. Form. In particular, when used outdoors, it is possible to hear not only music and telephone calls but also external sounds, so it is easy to grasp the surrounding situation when wearing and it is possible to improve safety. .
On the other hand, FIG. 11b is a long type, and since a transmission hole for transmitting sound reaches the inner part of the ear canal of the wearer at the time of wearing, a highly-shielded earphone that hardly hears external sounds. Forming device. Especially when it is not necessary to consider safety, the structure is such that external sounds are not heard so much that music and calls can be concentrated and heard. Further, as a type that closely attaches within the ear canal of the wearer at the time of wearing, not only the long type shown in FIG. 11b but also a so-called canal type that closes the ear canal by increasing the close contact near the ear canal entrance. It is also possible to use a type or the like. These open type and highly closed type ear caps can be used by appropriately replacing them depending on the application.
5). Details of Earphone Device (1) State when Wearing FIG. 12 is a diagram showing a state where the earphone device 1 of the present embodiment is worn on the ear of the wearer. The acoustic driver 180 and the ear cap 170 of the housing device 100 are inserted into the ear hole of the wearer, and the ear hole facing part 141 of the main body part 140 covers the ear hole. Moreover, the extension part 142 can improve the stability of the housing apparatus at the time of mounting | wearing by contacting the temple part vicinity of the side surface of a wearer's face.
As shown in FIG. 12, the ear hook 200 has an ear hooking portion 220 that surrounds the wearer's ear, and is located above the ear of the wearer at the upper portion of the ear hooking portion 220. In addition, the stability at the time of wearing is improved by contacting at a plurality of places such as the rear and lower parts of the wearer's ear.
Furthermore, the ear hook 200 is configured to sandwich the ears of the wearer between the ear hooking portion 220 and the portion of the mounting portion 210 that is fitted to the ear hole facing portion of the housing device 100 (A in FIG. 12). -A 'part). Accordingly, it is possible to prevent movement of the housing device 100 in the direction of rotation and the direction of approaching and separating from the wearer's face (CC direction and DD direction in FIG. 12). Further, the pressing portion 172 of the ear cap 170 is configured so as to be in press contact with the wearer's ear canal (near the ear canal entrance) when worn (B portion in FIG. 12). This makes it possible to prevent the movement of the housing device 100 in the rotational direction (CC direction in FIG. 12). The pinching and pressing contact at these two locations makes it possible for the user to wear the earphone device firmly even with a fixed strength that does not cause pain or discomfort at the time of wearing. In addition, it is possible to prevent the earphone device 1 from being detached from the wearer's ear or from being shifted from a predetermined position.
(2) Operation / Function Next, the operation of the earphone device of the present embodiment will be described. The earphone device of the present embodiment communicates signals wirelessly, and, as an example, transmits a signal from a smartphone or the like (not shown) using a short-range wireless system such as Bluetooth (registered trademark). The transmitted signal is received by a transmission / reception device provided inside the housing device 100, and when sound is received, it is converted into a sound signal by the acoustic driver 180 and transmitted to the wearer's ear as sound. When transmitting and receiving sound like a transceiver, a transmission / reception switching function is assigned in advance to the extension button 122 provided in the extension 142, and the transmission is performed by pressing the extension button 122 during transmission. Further, the volume can be adjusted by operating the ear hole facing part button 124 provided in the ear hole facing part 141.
The microphone in the housing apparatus 100 is provided in the vicinity of a boundary portion between the ear hole facing portion 141 and the extension portion 142 and in a microphone mounting portion (143, 144) provided in the vicinity of a position that is forward when the device is worn. At this time, since the microphone hole 218 is provided in a part of the mounting portion 210 of the ear hook 200, the microphone 132 provided near the boundary between the ear hole facing portion 141 and the extension portion 142 can easily pick up sound.
Since the microphones are provided at two positions in this way, the microphone 132 provided in the vicinity of the boundary between the ear hole facing portion 141 and the extension portion 142 is picked up mainly with external sound. As for the microphone 134 provided in the vicinity of the front position when worn, both the external sound and the voice uttered by the wearer are picked up. For this reason, it is possible to extract the voice uttered by the wearer by performing so-called noise canceling by subtracting the common component from the sound picked up by both microphones.
The earphone device of this embodiment is assumed to be used while moving at high speed with the earphone device exposed to the outside, such as during skiing or snowboarding. For this reason, there is a possibility that the microphone 134 that faces the front of the moving direction of the earphone device may pick up the sound of the wind that is moving and cannot pick up the sound that should be picked up. Therefore, it is necessary to take measures against these wind noises.
In the present embodiment, as a countermeasure against wind noise, as shown in FIG. 9 and FIG. 7, when the earphone device is mounted, the both sides on the front side in the traveling direction of the mounting portion 210 of the ear hook 200 are arranged. A wind-cut countermeasure recess 216 is provided. The wind-cut countermeasure recesses 216 on both sides of the mounting part 210 communicate with each other, and a sound collecting hole (not shown) is formed inside. Further, a waterproof ventilation filter (not shown) is provided on the sound collecting portion on the surface of the microphone 132 and the microphone 134 so that the sound collecting portion provided with the waterproof ventilation filter faces the sound collecting hole.
By configuring in this way, the sound collecting part of the microphone 134 does not face the outside in the traveling direction, and the moving wind passes through the sound collecting hole inside from one of the wind cut countermeasure concave parts 216, The other windbreak countermeasure recess 216 comes out. Therefore, wind does not directly enter the sound collecting portion of the microphone 134 provided with the waterproof ventilation filter, and the collection of wind noise by the microphone 134 is reduced, and the influence on the sound collecting of the sound that should be collected originally is reduced. Can be reduced. Here, when these wind-cutting recesses 216 are formed with holes, a resonance phenomenon occurs, and when the wind blows, it sounds like a whistle, or the wind blows inside the holes. Although a phenomenon of vortexing may occur, in the present embodiment, since it is formed by a recess, the possibility of such a resonance phenomenon occurring can be reduced. Thus, in addition to preventing wind from directly entering the sound collecting portion of the microphone 134 by the wind cut countermeasure recess 216, a waterproof ventilation filter (not shown) provided on the surface of the microphone 134 absorbs wind noise. Therefore, even if wind is generated from the windbreak countermeasure recess 216 toward the microphone 134, the waterproof ventilation filter prevents the wind from directly hitting the sound collecting portion of the microphone 134, and the wind noise is reduced. Occurrence can be reduced.
Next, the communication method of this embodiment will be described. FIG. 13 is a diagram illustrating an outline of a communication method in the earphone device of the present embodiment. The earphone device 1 of the present embodiment uses Bluetooth (registered trademark) or WiFi ad hoc communication with a mobile terminal 300 such as a smartphone by a transmission / reception device provided inside the housing device 100, a Klear method, Communication is performed using a short-range wireless system such as the ZigBee system. Since the earphone device 1 is normally in a receivable state, the signal transmitted from the portable terminal 300 is provided in the housing device 100 by performing signal communication with the earphone device 1 by the short-range wireless method. When the sound is received, the sound driver 180 converts the sound signal into a sound signal and transmits the sound signal to the wearer's ear.
On the contrary, when transmitting, a transmission / reception switching function is assigned to the extension button 122 provided in the extension 142 in advance, and the transmission is performed in a transmittable state by pressing the extension button 122 during transmission. The voice uttered by the wearer is received by the microphone (132, 134), and signal communication is performed with the portable terminal by the short-range wireless method. Further, instead of pressing the extension button 122 or the like to enable transmission, a microphone (132, 134) may be provided with a voice detection device and switched to the transmission enabled state by detecting voice. Good. Then, mobile phone network communication is performed between the mobile terminals 300. In communication between the mobile terminals 300, since communication is performed by software processing using a smartphone application or the like, it is possible to cooperate with other devices or improve expandability.
Further, instead of performing short-range communication between the earphone device 1 and the mobile terminal 300 and performing mobile phone network communication between the mobile terminals 300, wireless voice communication or the like is performed via a wireless device or the like. Also good. In this case, communication can be performed even outside the mobile phone network such as 3G or LTE.
It is necessary to authenticate whether the device is compatible with the earphone device and the portable terminal held by the wearer. As an authentication method, whether or not information (terminal name and terminal identifier) and a connection key of an earphone device that has been paired (interconnected) with the earphone device are stored with reference to information stored in the mobile terminal Determine by.
When a mobile terminal held by the wearer transmits / receives data such as voice data to / from another mobile terminal, data is transferred between one or more mobile terminals other than the mobile terminal held by the wearer in advance. It is necessary to perform a group creation process for establishing a path for performing transmission / reception.
Specifically, the group creation process creates a group creation screen on a mobile terminal such as a smartphone and displays the group creation screen on the display device, and shows an icon image corresponding to a member of another mobile terminal and the name of the group to be created. A group name, a member addition button for adding a member, an invitation button for inviting the selected member to proceed with the group creation process, and the like are displayed.
By operating these buttons, a group is created and members included in the group are set. Then, after the group is set, if the added member approves participation in the group, transmission / reception within the group becomes possible. If a group with only one person other than yourself is set, one-to-one transmission / reception is performed. If a group that includes multiple names other than yourself is set, many-to-many transmission / reception is performed. The voice signal thus received is received by everyone else, and conversely, the voice signal transmitted by someone else can be received by itself.
In addition, conventionally used methods can be applied to audio filtering and audio signal modulation in audio signal transmission / reception, and description thereof will be omitted.
6). Next, a modification of the embodiment described so far will be described.
In the previous embodiment, the mounting portion 210 of the ear hook 200 is attached to and integrated with the outer peripheral portion 148 of the main body 140 of the housing device 100, and the upper portion of the ear hooking portion 220 of the ear hook 200 is attached to the wearer at the time of mounting. The sound driver 180 of the housing apparatus 100 is configured to be used by being inserted into the ear hole of the wearer. However, as shown in FIG. 14, it is possible to use only the housing device 100 without using the ear hook 200. In that case, stable mounting is possible by contact of the main body 140 of the housing device 100 with the ear hole on the acoustic driver 180 side and pressing of the pressing portion 172 of the ear cap 170 into the ear hole. In the previous embodiment, the pressing portion 172 is provided on the ear cap 170, but instead of being provided on the ear cap 170, the pressing portion 172 is provided on the acoustic driver side of the housing device 100 so that the ear hole of the wearer can be worn at the time of wearing. It can also be set as the structure which presses.
In the previous embodiment, as the operation unit for performing the operation, the ear hole facing part button 124 is provided near the center part of the ear hole facing part 141, and the extension button 122 and two buttons are provided near the center part of the extension part 142. However, it is not always necessary to provide one button for each of the ear canal facing portion 141 and the extension portion 142. As another example, the button is configured by one large button that spans the ear canal facing portion 141 and the extension portion 142. Alternatively, the extension 142 having a relatively large area may be provided with a plurality of buttons.
Further, in the previous embodiment, the mounting portion 210 of the ear hook 200 is formed in a hollow shape, and is configured such that the housing device 100 is exposed to the outside when mounted on the housing device 100. By pressing the outer lid 110, the cut portion 114 of the button structure portion 112 is pressed and the inner ear hole facing portion button 124 and the extension portion button 122 are operated. By configuring the ear hook 200 so as to cover the outer side surface of the housing device 100 at the time of mounting, an operation unit such as a button is provided on the surface of the ear hook 200 that covers the outer side surface of the housing device 100, and the button is operated. It can also be set as the structure which performs operation.
Further, the mode of the operation unit is not limited to a button, and various operation means such as a dial that can be rotated, a lever, a switch, or a touch panel can be used. Furthermore, regarding the operation method in the case of buttons, it is possible to assign different functions by different operation methods such as simple pressing, double pressing, and long pressing.
Regarding the ear hook 200, in the previous embodiment, the ear hooking portion 220 is formed in a ring shape as a whole, and is configured to be applied to the upper portion of the wearer's ear at the upper portion and the ear hooking portion 220 is in contact with the lower portion. However, the ear hooking portion 220 may be configured by only the portion of the upper portion of the previous embodiment that covers the upper portion of the wearer's ear, and may have a shape like a vine of glasses. If comprised in this way, the contact to the ear | edge in the lower part in the case of a ring shape cannot be achieved, but it becomes possible to comprise more compactly.
In addition, in the previous embodiment, the expansion / contraction part 222 in the ear hook 200 is provided at one place on the upper part of the ear hook part 220 formed in a ring shape. The above can also be changed as appropriate. Furthermore, in the previous embodiment, the expansion / contraction part 222 was formed by forming the ear hook part 220 in a bellows shape. However, as a method of forming the expansion / contraction part 222, compared with other parts of the ear hook part 220. And can be formed by various methods, such as forming the portion of the stretchable portion 222 with a member that is easier to stretch and contract than other portions of the ear hook portion 220. .
As a function of the present embodiment, it is possible to inform the position of another portable terminal 300 during communication in cooperation with a known GPS function and use it as auxiliary information during communication.
