In other words, this can be done through a change cycle. In the next change period, the base station 20 may transmit updated system information. Different colors in FIG. 6 represent different system information. As soon as the terminal 10 receives the change notification, the terminal 10 immediately acquires new change information from the start of the next change cycle. Until the terminal 10 acquires new system information, the terminal may apply the previously obtained system information.

Even if the terminal 10 is known about the change in system information, additional details regarding the change of the system information may not be provided.
- a particular parameter for example SystemInformationBlockType1 may include a value tag, systemInfoValueTag , indicating whether a change occurs in system messages.
- the terminal 10 may be, for example, as soon as it returns from out of coverage, You can use the value tag systemInfoValueTag to prove whether previously stored system information messages are still valid. In addition, the terminal 10 may think that the stored system information is invalid unless specified otherwise 3 hours after the moment of successfully confirming that it is valid.
- the terminal 10 combines only the reception values of the PBCH codewords transmitted within four frames, which are PBCH transmission periods, and cannot receive the reception values of the codewords transmitted in other PBCH transmission periods.
- the base station 20 In order for the coverage-expanded MTC terminal to receive the PBCH and succeed in blind decoding, the base station 20 must repeatedly transmit the conventionally transmitted PBCH 36 to 95 times. In other words, the PBCH codeword transmitted in four subframes over four conventional frames must be repeatedly transmitted using 144 to 384 subframes. In case of FDD, assuming that one frame is composed of 10 subframes and all subframes existing in one frame are used for PBCH transmission, 15 to 39 frames are used for PBCH transmission for an MTC terminal having extended coverage. Should be.

- a single or a plurality of subframes to be used for MTC SIB1 transmission are predefined in a predefined radio frame period and period.
- the base station 20 transmits the MTC SIB1 in a predefined subframe.
- the base station 20 needs repeated transmission for the MTC SIB1 for the MTC terminal having extended coverage.
- the base station repeatedly transmits the same MTC SIB1 within the BCCH modification period.
- the terminal 10 soft combines and decodes the received value of the MTC SIB1 in a change cycle.
- the conventional BCCH change period is defined as 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048, 4096 radio frames.
- the base station 20 transmits the change period information to the terminal 10 using SIB2.
- SIB2 When the coverage-extended MTC terminal 10 receives the first MTC SIB1, there is no information on a change cycle. Therefore, even when the MTC SIB1 information is changed in two neighboring change periods, the MTC terminal 10 may assume the same MTC SIB1 and soft-combine and decode all received values of the MTC SIB1.
- the MTC terminal in the process of receiving the MTC SIB1, empties the soft buffer used for soft combining the MTC SIB1 with respect to a predetermined SFN (for example, SFN 0) and with respect to the previously received MTC SIB1. No longer soft combining, soft combining and decoding MTC SIB1 received from a predetermined SFN.

- the common region is a cell-specific region in which common control information is transmitted for a terminal in a cell. That is, system information blocks (SIBs), random access response (RAR), or paging messages are transmitted through corresponding broadcast / multicast regions of a common region. Accordingly, the MTC terminal in the cell may receive SIBs, RARs, or paging messages in a corresponding broadcast region.

That is, in the terminal specific region, time-frequency resource allocation for the terminal specific region may be performed through terminal specific RRC signaling.
- the time base resource for the common region or the terminal specific region may be set in units of subframes or radio frames.
- Frequency domain resources of the common region and the UE specific region may be allocated in units of MTC subband or narrowband. That is, the MTC subband or narrowband may mean a unit of frequency domain resources for the common region or the terminal specific region allocated to the MTC terminal.

Description

도 1을 참조하면, 단말의 초기 셀 접속 과정에서, 단말(10)은 기지국(20)이 전송하는 동기화 신호인 PSS(Primary Synchronization Signal) 및 SSS(Secondary Synchronization Signal)를 수신한다(S102).
기지국(20)이 PBCH로 전송하는 시스템 정보를 MIB(Master Information Block)이라고 한다.
-
1)를 이용하여 16 비트의 CRC(Cyclic Redundancy Check)를 생성한다.
40 비트의 정보 비트는 TBCC(Tail Biting Convolutional Code)를 이용하여 부호화된다(S320).
이때 a = x mod 10이고 T는 관련된 SI 메시지의 주기(si
-Periodicity)
-Periodicity)
(SI-window starts at the subframe #a)
(The modification period boundaries are defined by SFN values for which SFN mod m= 0). m은 변경 주기를 포함하는 무선 프레임들의 개수이다.
단말(10)은, 예를 들어 커버리지 밖으로부터 돌아오자마자(upon return from out of coverage), 이전에 저장된 시스템 정보 메시지들이 아직도 유효한지 여부를 증명하기 위해 값 태그(value tag), systemInfoValueTag를 사용할 수 있다.
즉, SIBs(System Information Blocks), RAR(Random Access Response) 또는 페이징(paging) 메시지 등이 공통 영역의 해당 브로드캐스트/멀티캐스트 영역(broadcast/multicast region)을 통해 전송된다.

:
MTC
