Abstract
Beschrieben wird eine Vorrichtung zur Dichtung eines Ventils zur Steuerung eines Kühlmittels einer Verbrennungskraftmaschine eines Kraftfahrzeuges, das mit einem Ventilgehäuse (1) in ein Kühlsystem eingebaut ist, wobei das Ventilgehäuse (1) einlassseitig und/oder auslassseitig einen Dichtring (3) enthält, der eine Ringwandung (4) und eine von der Ringwandung (4) von einer Kontaktstelle (6) ausgehende, beanstandende Ringlippe (5) aufweist.
Description
Vorrichtung zur Dichtung eines Ventils
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Dichtung eines Ventils zum Einsatz in einer Kühlmittelströmung einer Verbrennungskraftmaschine beispielsweise eines Kraftfahrzeuges, wobei das Ventil gegen die Kühlmittelströmung abdichtbar ist. Derartige Ventile können zur Steuerung des Kühlmittelstroms einer Brennkraftmaschine zum Einsatz kommen, um im Fluidkreislauf je nach Lastfall eine optimale Kühlmitteltemperatur zu gewährleisten Im Regelsystem ist es dabei von Bedeutung, dass die Dichtigkeit der einzelnen Regelkreise gewährleistet ist. Oft finden Ventile mit einem zylindrischen Ventilkörper Verwendung in Kühlsystemen wie beispielsweise in der noch unveröffentlichten
DE102013215971 beschrieben. Der rotationssymmetrische Ventilkörper ist dabei drehbar um die Zylinderachse in einem Ventilgehäuse gelagert, welches Zu- und Abflusskanäle aufweist. Durch Öffnungen im Außenbereich des Zylinders wird die Kühlflüssigkeit gesteuert, wobei die Flussmenge durch Verdrehen des Ventilkörpers reguliert wird. Die mit den Öffnungen im Außenbereich des Ventilkörpers zusammenwirkenden Kanäle sind mittels Dichtbuchsen gedichtet, welche auf dem Zylinder, dem Außenumfang gleiten. Um eine ausreichende Dichtfunktion insbesondere bei geforderter Stel- lung des Zylinders zu gewährleisten, kann ein entsprechend hoher Anpressdruck der Buchse nötig sein.
Bei der Ausgestaltung der Regelkreise ist die Dichtfunktion von großer Bedeutung. Die einzelnen Komponenten werden gegeneinander dichtend isoliert. Für diese Aufgabe werden Dichtringe eingesetzt. Solchen Dichtringen
können Ausgang und Eingang des Kreislaufs in einem Mehrwegerotations- ventil eingesetzt. Werden.
Allerdings ist auch ein zu hoher Druck in Teilbereichen des Kühlmittelstroms hervorgerufen durch sehr starke Dichtsysteme nicht wünschens- wert.
Es liegt daher die Aufgabe zu Grunde, eine Vorrichtung zur Dichtung in einem Ventil in gegenüber den bekannten Lösungen verbesserter Form bereitzustellen.
Die Lösung dieser Aufgabe erfolgt durch ein Ventil mit den Merkmalen des Anspruchs 1 . Weiterbildungen der Erfindung ergeben sich aus den Unteransprüchen.
Gemäß der Erfindung ist eine Vorrichtung zur Dichtung eines Ventils zur Steuerung eines Kühlmittels einer Verbrennungskraftmaschine eines Kraftfahrzeuges, das mit einem Ventilgehäuse in ein Kühlsystem eingebaut ist, wobei das Ventilgehäuse einlassseitig und/oder auslassseitig einen Dichtring enthält, der eine Ringwandung und eine von der Ringwandung ausgehende, beanstandende Ringlippe aufweist.
Durch die Struktur der Dichtung ist es möglich sowohl ein druckunterstütztes Dichtsystem aufzubauen, als auch einen Überdruckabbau durch das einstellbare Dichtsystem zu erreichen. Damit wird ein Dichtsystem erreicht, das Druck kontrolliert einsetzbar ist.
Es ist dabei von Vorteil, dass die Ringlippe in einem spitzen Winkel von der Ringwandung absteht. Dadurch kann Druck zwischen den beiden Dichtkomponenten angreifen und die Dichtung stärker an den zu dichtenden Bauteilen angepresst werden oder in einer anderen Einbausituation Überdruckabgebaut werden.
Es ist dabei von Vorteil, wenn die Ringlippe und die Ringwandung eine im Querschnitt v-förmige oder u-förmige Struktur bilden.
Vorteilhafterweise ist die Ringlippe durch Beaufschlagung mit einem Druck in Richtung der Kontaktstelle mit der Ringwandung von der Ringwandung weg bewegbar.
Es ist von Vorteil, wenn der Dichtring mit einer Feder zusammen eingebaut ist oder der Dichtring einen integrierten Federkörper besitzt.
Weiterhin ist es ein Vorteil, dass die Kombination von Dichtring und Feder den Anpressdruck des Dichtrings erhöht oder den Anpressdruck des Dichtring reduziert.
Vorteilhafterweise ist die Auflagefläche des Dichtrings linienförmig.
Weiterhin ist es günstig, dass die Auflagefläche des Dichtrings an eine Zylinder - oder Kugelform angepasst ist.
Beschreibung der Erfindung
Des Weiteren erfolgt die Erläuterung eines Ausführungsbeispiels der Erfindung an Hand der Zeichnungen. Es zeigen Figur 1 bis 3 Ausführungsformen eines druckunterstützen Dichtsystems.
.Figuren 4 und 5 zeigen Ausführungsformen von Anpressdruck reduzierenden Dichtsystemen.
Figur 1 zeigt einen Schnitt durch einen Teil eines Kühlsystems. Das Kühlsystem 10 wird hier nur skizzenartig dargestellt. Das Kühlsystem 10 muss gegen ein Ventilgehäuse 1 gedichtet werden. Zwischen dem Kühlsystem
10 und dem Ventilgehäuse 1 ist ein Dichtring 3 angeordnet. Der Dichtring 3 weist an dem Ventilgehäuse 1 einen Auflagefläche 1 1 auf. Vom Ventilgehäuse 1 abgewandt ist der Dichtring mit einer Ringwandung 4 sowie einer davon nach innen zur Zylinderachse Z, unter einem spitzen Winkel abstehenden Ringlippe 5 ausgebildet. Die Ringlippe 5 bietet mit der Ringwandung 4 ausgehend von einer Kontaktstelle 6 einen V- förmigen Schlitz.
Im Ausführungsbeispiel ist der Radius des Dichtrings 3 im Bereich der Auflagefläche 1 1 geringer als der Radius der Ringwandung 4. Der Dichtring 3 steht im direkten Kontakt einem Federring 7, der in eine Ausnehmung des Kühlsystems 1 0 angeordnet ist. Über den Federring wird der Dichtring 3 mit einer axialen Kraft vorgespannt. Der Durchfluss in diesem Anordnungsbeispiel folgt den Pfeil F. Auf der Hochdruckseite PH eröffnet sich außen entlang des Dichtrings 3 ein Kanal 12, indem die Hochdruckseite des Systems mit dem Druck PH bis zur V-förmigen Abspreizung der Dichtlippe 5 an dem Dichtring anliegt. Die Ringlippe wird dadurch stärker abgespreizt und schmiegt sich an die Auflagefläche des Kühlsystems an. Unter Hochdruckseite wird in diesem Zusammenhang der Bereich mit einem gegenüber der Niederdruckseite PL höheren Druck bezeichnet, was lediglich den Druckunterschied betonen soll.
Die radial abgespreizte Ringlippe 5 ist so angeordnet, dass durch den Differenzdruck zwischen PH und RL die Ringlippe stärker an die angrenzende Fläche des Kühlsystems und der gesamte Dichtring 3 aufgrund der projizierten Fläche stärker an das Ventilgehäuse 1 gedrückt werden.
Der Dichtring 3 zeigt durch die unterschiedlichen Innenradien eine Schulter, mit einer äußeren Schulter 14 und einer inneren Schulter 15. Der höhere Druck PH Liegt wie in der Zeichnung dargestellt an der äußeren Schulter 14 an. Diese Druckkomponente wirkt auf die Schulter 14 und drückt dabei die innere Schulter 1 5 in der Zeichnung nach oben auf das Kühlsystem 1 0 zu. Bei geeignetem Druck liegt somit auch die innere Schulter 15 am Kühlsys-
tem an und dichtet zusammen mit der Ringlippe 5 ab. Diese Bauform erlaub einen kontrollierte Steuerung der Dichtfunktion durch den Druckunterschied zwischen PH und PL. Der Druckunterschied, der an zwei unterschiedlichen Stellen der Dichtung angreift, beeinflusst das Dichtsystem und lässt sich sehr gut steuern.
Die Auflagenfläche ist in diesem Ausführungsbeispiel zylindrische ausgestaltet. Durch die Unterstützung durch die Druckdifferenz kann die Feder 7 mit geringerer Federkraft ausgestaltet werden. In der Figur 1 b ist eine Ansicht des erfindungsgemäßen Dichtrings gezeigt.
Die Ausführungsform Figur 2a und 2b zeigen eine alternative Form. Der Dichtring 3 befindet sich wiederum zwischen einem Hochdruckbereich PH und einen niedrigen Druckbereich PL. Über die Feder 7 ist der Dichtring vorgespannt. Der Dichtring weist wiederum eine Ringwandung 4 auf, von der eine Ringlippe 5 ausgehend von der Kontaktstelle 6 abgespreizt ist. In diesem Ausführungsbeispiel weist der Dichtring im Bereich der Auflagefläche 1 1 sowie im Bereich der Ringwandung 4 demselben Radius auf. Die Ringlippe ist aber nicht nach innen abgespreizt angeordnet, sondern nach außen.
Durch den Druckunterschied wird die Ringlippe 5 gegen die angrenzende Dichtfläche 1 3 gepresst und der gesamte Dichtring stärker gegen die Auflagefläche 1 1 gedrückt. Auch hier unterstützt der Druckunterschied Dichtfunktion des Dichtrings.
Figur 3 zeigt eine alternative Ausführungsform. Der Dichtring besitzt hier ebenfalls eine über den gesamten Bereich konstanten Innenradius. Die Ringwandung 4 besitzt wiederum eine Ringlippe 5, die in diesem Beispiel über eine u-förmige Ausnehmung von der Wandung absteht. Die Ringlippe ist in dieser Ausführungsform in axialer Richtung abgespreizt und nicht in radialer Richtung.
Über eine interne Feder 8 ist die Ringlippe zudem axial vorgespannt. Durch die axiale Vorspannung dichtet die Ringlippe 5 gegen das Kühlsystem 1 0, dass hier nur angedeutet ist, an der Dichtfläche 1 3 ab. Der erhöhte Druck PH liegt am u-förmigen Spalt zwischen Ringlippe und Ringwandung an und presst die Ringlippe gegen die Dichtfläche 1 3. Der Druck unterstützt die von der internen Feder 8 erzeugte Kraft gegenüber dem KühlsystemI O, aber auch gegen die Auflagefläche 1 1 am Ventilgehäuse 1 .
In diesem Ausführungsbeispiel ist die Anlagefläche ballig ausgebildet.
Die Anordnung nach Figur 4a und 4b zeigt einen Dichtring 3, der von einer Feder 7 eingepresst auf einem Ventilkörper 1 mit einer Auflagefläche 1 1 aufsitzt. Der Dichtring besitzt einen über seinen Verlauf konstanten Innenradius. Die von der Ringwandlung beabstandete Ringlippe 5 erstreckt sich nach außen an das Kühlsystem 1 0. Der hohe Druck PH beaufschlagt den Dichtring im Bereich der V-förmigen Abspreizung mit erhöhtem Druck. Dieser Druck wirkt gegen die Federkraft der Feder 7. Durch den Druck der Hochdruckseite wird ein Teil der Federkraft kompensiert und der Dichtring 3 schwächer an das Ventilgehäuse 1 gedrückt. Durch geeignete Auslegung der Federkörperkraft kann somit ein Überdruck von der Hochdruckseite im Kühlsystem entgegengewirkt werden, da das Dichtsystem den Druck durch Schwächung der Andruckkraft und somit über Leckage abführt.
Figur 5 zeigt eine alternative Ausführungsform, bei der der Druckunterschied ebenfalls zu Regulierung einer gezielten Leckage eingesetzt wird. Der erhöhte Druck der Druckseite wirkt auf die Ringlippe 5 ein, so dass der Druck gegen die Federkraft der internen Feder 8 arbeitet. Auch hier kann durch Dimensionierung der Feder sowie des Drucksystems eine gezielte Leckage erreicht werden, womit Überdruck im System abgeholfen wird.
Die gezeigten Ausführungsformen stellen Beispiele dar, die durch den Fachmann geläufige Modifikationen ergänzt werden können. Die Varianten
umfassen alle möglichen Formen der Anlageflächen, sowie der Ausgestaltung des Dichtrings.

Claims
1 . Vorrichtung zur Dichtung eines Ventils zur Steuerung eines Kühlmittels einer Verbrennungskraftmaschine, das mit einem Ventilgehäuse (1 ) in ein Kühlsystem eingebaut ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Ventilgehäuse (1 ) einlassseitig und/oder auslassseitig einen Dichtring (3) enthält, der eine Ringwandung (4) und eine von der Ringwandung (4) von einer Kontaktstelle (6) ausgehende, beanstandende Ringlippe (5) aufweist.
2. Vorrichtung zur Dichtung eines Ventils nach Anspruch 1 , dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Ringlippe (5) in einem spitzen Winkel von der Ringwandung (4) absteht.
3. Vorrichtung zur Dichtung eines Ventils nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Ringlippe(4) und die Ringwandung (5) eine im Querschnitt v-förmige oder u-förmige Struktur bilden.
4. Vorrichtung zur Dichtung eines Ventils nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Dichtring (3) Bereiche mit unterschiedlichen Innenradien aufweist, wobei der Dichtring (3) eine Schulter (14,15) ausbildet.
5. Vorrichtung zur Dichtung eines Ventils nach Anspruch 4 , dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Dichtring (3) durch Druckunterschiede an der Schulter (14,15) sowie auf die Ringlippe (5) elastisch verformbar ist.
6. Vorrichtung zur Dichtung eines Ventils nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche , dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Ringlippe durch Beaufschlagung mit einem Druck in Richtung der Kontaktstelle (6) mit der Ringwandung (4) von der Ringwandung (4) weg bewegbar ist.
7. Vorrichtung zur Dichtung eines Ventils nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche , dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Dichtring (3) mit einer Feder (7) zusammen eingebaut ist.
8. Vorrichtung zur Dichtung eines Ventils nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Dichtring (3) eine interne Feder (8) besitzt.
9. Vorrichtung zur Dichtung eines Ventils nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche , dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Kombination von Dichtring (3) und Feder (7,8) den Anpressdruck des Dichtring erhöht.
10. Vorrichtung zur Dichtung eines Ventils nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche , dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Kombination von Dichtring (3) und Feder (7, 8) den Anpressdruck des Dichtring reduziert.
1 1 . Vorrichtung zur Dichtung eines Ventils , dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Auflagefläche (1 1 ) des Dichtrings linienförmig ist.
12. Vorrichtung zur Dichtung eines Ventils , dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Auflagefläche (1 1 ) des Dichtrings an eine Zylinder - oder Kugelform angepasst ist.
