Description

Dentifrice composition
The present invention relates to a dentifrice composition.
Allantoin and its derivatives are known to be useful active ingredients that activate cell functions and have anti-inflammatory and anti-ulcer effects.
On the other hand, allantoin and its derivatives are very poor in stability because they are easily hydrolyzed. For this reason, various studies have been made to improve the stability of allantoin and its derivatives in each field.
For example, Patent Document 1 discloses that in an aqueous preparation containing allantoin, an organic acid or inorganic acid, an amino acid, an alkali metal salt thereof, or a combination of two or more thereof can stably add allantoin to an aqueous base. Are listed. In Patent Document 2, in a liquid oral composition containing allantoin, the combination of citric acid and citrate, citric acid and alkaline agent, or citrate and acid has an allantoin hydrolysis inhibiting effect during high-temperature storage. It is described that it has. Patent Document 3 describes that, in a composition for transparent liquid oral cavity containing allantoin, the pH can be maintained in a pH range that maintains the stability of allantoin by blending lactic acid.
On the other hand, a dentifrice used for the purpose of cleaning the oral cavity by placing it on an applicator such as a toothbrush requires moderate viscosity and needs to suppress the solidification of the paste, and thus a viscous agent such as sorbitol has been blended. .
特開昭63-159317号公報Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 63-159317 特開2010-143889号公報JP 2010-143889 A 特開2013-1651号公報JP 2013-1651 A
However, when allantoin or a derivative thereof is added to a dentifrice, even if an acid is added to adjust the pH of the dentifrice, as in the aqueous preparations and solutions described in Patent Documents 1 to 3, the stability of allantoin or a derivative thereof is improved. Sex was not improved sufficiently and the cause was unknown.
The inventors of the present invention have made extensive studies to solve the above-mentioned problems, and have found that the inclusion of a specific amount of sorbitol affects the stability of allantoin. However, it has been found that when potassium nitrate is further added to the system, precipitates are formed during low-temperature storage and the low-temperature stability is impaired.
Also, if the sorbitol content is lowered to suppress the precipitation of potassium nitrate, allantoin and / or its derivatives are hydrolyzed. Therefore, there has been a demand for a technique that can simultaneously ensure the stability of allantoin and / or its derivatives and suppress the precipitation of potassium nitrate.
An object of the present invention is to provide a dentifrice composition capable of ensuring both the stability of allantoin and / or its derivatives and the suppression of precipitation of potassium nitrate.
