Abstract
The invention relates to a device (1) for producing printed matter, said device having an unwind unit (2) for providing paper to be printed. According to the invention, a print unit is arranged downstream of the unwind unit (2), said print unit printing the paper, a cross cutter (4) is arranged downstream of the print unit, said cross cutter cutting the printed paper that is continuously fed to said cross cutter, the cutting being transverse to the feed direction such that individual printed sheets are provided, a collection unit (5) to collect the sheets fed to the collection unit is arranged downstream of the cross cutter (4), a feed unit (6) can be located downstream of the collection unit (5), at least one additional unit to finish the printed matter to be produced is arranged downstream of the feed unit (6). When viewed in the feed direction, upstream and/or downstream of the cross cutter (4), the actuators are associated with the units located upstream and/or downstream, said actuators enabling the treatment of the paper fed into said unit to be adjusted from one format into another format.
