Description

INFORMATION DISPLAY METHOD AND TERMINAL
FIELD OF THE TECHNOLOGY
[0001] The present disclosure relates to computer fields, and in particular, to an information display method and terminal.
BACKGROUND OF THE DISCLOSURE
[0002] At present, electronic products have been all-pervasive in daily life of people, and especially in the communications field, a handheld terminal has become an essential tool in life of people. However, when a terminal currently used by people is not used in a preset time period, a screen of the terminal is locked automatically to save power. In this case, when the terminal receives new information, before the received information is displayed it is required to press a power key first to light the screen and enter a screen saver image and then unlock the screen to enter corresponding software. When the terminal is in a screen- locked state, if the foregoing manner is used to display the received new information, a user cannot check information content instantly.
[0003] That is, in the existing technology in the field, displaying information by using the foregoing manner requires a complex operation, thereby wasting precious time of a user. Moreover, when urgent information is received, if the information is displayed by using the foregoing manner, displaying efficiency is low, which makes it difficult for a user to handle the information in time.
[0004] In view of the foregoing problem, no effective solution has yet been proposed.

Embodiment 1
[0016] This embodiment of the present invention provides an information display method.
The method may be applied to a terminal. The terminal includes, but is not limited to a mobile phone and a tablet computer. For example, the terminal is a mobile phone. When a screen of the mobile phone is lighted, the screen of the mobile phone in a screen-locked state is displayed as shown in FIG. 1. The example is merely exemplary, and this embodiment is not limited thereto.
[0017] Optionally, in this embodiment, a process of the information display method may be shown in FIG. 2. The method includes:
[0018] S202: A terminal in a screen-locked state receives information.
[0019] S204: Detect whether an operation for instructing the terminal to display the information is performed on the terminal in the screen-locked state.
[0020] S206: If it is detected that the operation is performed on the terminal in the screen- locked state, the terminal in the screen-locked state displays the received information on a screen of the terminal.
[0021] Optionally, as shown in FIG. 2, the information display method in this embodiment may further include:
[0022] S208: If it is detected that the operation is not performed on the terminal in the screen- locked state, the received information is not displayed on a screen of the terminal.
[0023] Optionally, in this embodiment, after step S202 of receiving, by a terminal in a screen- locked state, information and before step S204 of detecting whether an operation for instructing the terminal to display the information is performed on the terminal in the screen-locked state, the method further includes: displaying, by the terminal in the screen-locked state, the received information on the screen of the terminal. For example, the terminal is a mobile phone. The mobile phone in a screen-locked state receives a piece of new information, for example, a public-service short message service message sent from 10086 shown in FIG. 3. Before detecting whether an operation is performed on the mobile phone in the screen-locked state, the mobile phone displays, on a screen of the mobile phone, content of the new information that is just received, so that the information can be displayed on the screen of the terminal instantly. In this way, a user can learn of the information content as soon as possible, and an effect of improving information display efficiency is achieved.
[0024] Optionally, in this embodiment, after the terminal in the screen-locked state displays the received information on the screen of the terminal, the terminal detects whether the operation for instructing the terminal to display information is not performed on the terminal in a first preset time period; and if it is detected that the operation for instructing the terminal to display information is not performed on the terminal in the first preset time period, the terminal in the screen-locked state stops displaying the information on the screen of the ienninal. For example, the terminal is a mobile phone. Assuming that the first preset time period is 10s, within 10s after the mobile phone in a screen- locked state displays the received information on a screen of the mobile phone, if detecting that no operation for instructing the mobile phone to display the information is performed on the mobile phone, the mobile phone stops displaying the information on the screen of the mobile phone, that is, the screen of the mobile phone gradually blackens until the screen becomes blank and the
information is not displayed on the screen of the mobile phone any longer.
[0025] Optionally, in this embodiment, after the terminal stops displaying the information, if it is detected that the operation for instructing the terminal to display the information is performed on the terminal in the screen-locked state, the terminal in the screen-locked state displays the received information on the screen of the terminal again.
[0026] Optionally, in this embodiment, the operation performed on the terminal in the screen- locked state and used for instructing the terminal to display the information may include, but is not limited to at least one of the following: a change in a position of the terminal and a change in light of an environment to which the terminal belongs.
[0027] For example, the terminal is a mobile phone. Assuming that the mobile phone is placed in a relatively dark room, during this period, the mobile phone receives a piece of new information, for example, receives a public-service short message service message from 10086 shown in FIG. 3. The mobile phone displays, on a screen of the mobile phone, content of the new information that is just received. Within a first preset time period (for example, the first time period is 10s) after the new information is received, if the mobile phone does not detect an operation for instructing the mobile phone to display the information, the screen of the mobile phone darkens. After the screen of the mobile phone darkens, if the mobile phone in the screen-locked state detects the operation for instructing the mobile phone to display the information, for example, after a light in the room is turned on, the room becomes bright, the mobile phone displays the public-service short message service message from 10086 on the screen in the screen- locked state again.
[0028] For another example, the mobile phone displays, on a screen of the mobile phone, content of new information that is just received. Within a first preset time period (for example, the first time period is 10s) after the new information is received, the mobile phone detects an operation for instructing the mobile phone to display the information. Assuming that time when the operation is detected is 6s after the new information is recei ved, the screen of the mobile phone is already dark at this time, and after the mobile phone detects the operation for instructing the mobile phone to display the information, the screen of the mobile phone becomes bright again and the new
information is displayed on the screen of the mobile phone again.
[0029] Optionally, in this embodiment, the change in the light of the environment to which the terminal belongs may include, but is not limited to: a change in luminous intensity. The luminous intensity is LI for short and an international unit thereof is candela and is cd for short. Optionally, in this embodiment, the change in the position of the terminal may include, but is not limited to at least one of the following: an angular change of the terminal and a position change of the terminal.
[0030] Optionally, in this embodiment, a sensor for detecting that the operation for instructing the terminal to display the information is performed on the terminal in the screen-locked state may include, but is not limited to a light sensor and a motion sensor. The light sensor is configured to detect a change in light of an environment to which the terminal belongs and the motion sensor is configured to detect a change in a position of the terminal. Optionally, in this embodiment, the motion sensor may be, but is not limited to a gyroscope,
[003 J ] Optionally, in this embodiment, if the terminal does not receive any information, the terminal may, but not necessarily, display default setting information, for example, the default setting information may be the following content: data and time.
[0032] Optionally, in this embodiment, after the terminal receives an instruction for indicating that the information displayed on the screen of the terminal has been read, the terminal stops displaying the information on the screen of the terminal in the screen- locked state. After that, even if the terminals again detects that the operation for instructing the terminal to display the information is performed, after the screen of the mobile phone becomes bright, the information is not displayed and only a screen-locked interface shown in FIG. 1 and set by default in the mobile phone is displayed.
[0033] Optionally, in this embodiment, when the terminal receives multiple pieces of information, the pieces of information are sequentially displayed on the screen of the terminal according to time when the pieces of information are received by the terminal, Optionally, in this embodiment, the terminal displays latest unread information all the time,
[0034] Descriptions are made below with reference to specific examples shown in FIG. 4 and
FIG. 5. A mobile phone is used as an example. The mobile phone is placed into a bag at 7:30 and is taken out of the bag at 8:30. Within one hour, the mobile phone receives three pieces of information, which are Message- 1, Message-2, and Message-3, where Message- 1 is received at 8:00, Message-2 is received at 8: 10, and Message-3 is received at 8:15; therefore, when the mobile phone is picked up at 8:30, the mobile phone first displays information content of Message-3, for example, a seven-day weather forecast for Beijing shown in FIG, 4, on a screen of the mobile phone. When the mobile phone receives an instruction indicating that Message-3 has been read, Message-3 is not displayed on the screen of the mobile phone in a screen-locked state any longer; instead, information content of Message-2, for example, a notice on participation in an activity shown in FIG. 5, is displayed; and the rest can be deduced by analogy.
[0035] Optionally, in this embodiment, a material of the screen of the terminal may be, but is not limited to an organic light-emitting diode (OLED). The OLED display technology has a self- luminous feature, and uses very thin coating made of organic materials and a glass substrate. When a current goes through the OLED, these organic materials emit light. Moreover, an OLED display screen has a large viewing angle and can save electric energy significantly, For example, when the OLED material is used in the mobile phone, the feature of the OLED can be used. The mobile phone consumes power only when displaying a word on the screen, and does not consume power when in a black background.
[0036] According to this embodiment provided by the present disclosure, after it is detected that an operation is performed on a terminal in a screen-locked state, information received by the terminal in the screen- locked state is displayed on a screen of the terminal, so t hat multiple operation steps of an information display manner in the existing technology are omitted and the information received by the terminal is directly read when the terminal is in the screen-locked state. In addition, after it is detected that an operation for instructing the terminal to display the information is performed on the terminal in the screen-locked state, the received information may be displayed on the screen of the terminal in the screen- locked state, thereby achie ving an effect of improving information display efficiency.
[0037] As an optional solution, step S204 of detecting whether an operation for instructing the terminal to display the information is performed on the terminal in the screen-locked state includes:
SI : The terminal determines whether a parameter that is sensed by a sensor in the terminal and is used for instructing the terminal to display the informat ion changes, and if the parameter that is used for instructing the terminal to display the information changes, it is detected that the operation is performed on the terminal in the screen-locked state.
[0039] Optionally, in this embodiment, the sensor in the terminal may include, but is not limited to a light sensor and a motion sensor. The motion sensor may be, but is not limited to a gyroscope. Optionally, in this embodiment, the parameter for instructing the terminal to display the information may include, but is not limited to at least one of the following: a light parameter and a position parameter.
[0040] Optionally, in this embodiment, determining, by the terminal, whether a parameter that is sensed by a sensor in the terminal and is used for instructing the terminal to display the information changes includes at least one of the following:
[0041] 1) determining, by the terminal, whether a light parameter, which is sensed by a light sensor in the terminal, of an environment to which the terminal belongs changes, and if the l ight parameter changes, detecting that the operation is performed on the terminal in the screen-locked state; and
[0042] 2) determining, by the terminal, whether a position parameter, which is sensed by a motion sensor in the terminal, of the terminal changes, and if the position parameter changes, detecting that the operation is performed on the terminal in the screen-locked state,
[0043] Optionally, in this embodiment, the light parameter of the terminal may include, but is not limited to: luminous intensity. The luminous intensity is LI for short and an international unit thereof is candela and is cd for short. Optionally, in this embodiment, the position parameter of the terminal includes at least one of the following: a parameter for indicating an angular change of the terminal and a parameter for indicating a position change of the terminal.
[0044] Descriptions are made specifically with reference to the following examples. A mobile phone is used as an example. For example, assuming the mobile phone is placed in an environment in which LI is A for 10 minutes, at the second minute after the mobile phone is placed in the environment, the mobile phone receives a public-service short message service message from 10086 shown in FIG. 3. Therefore, after the 10 minutes, when the LI of the environment to which the mobile phone belongs changes to B, because it is detected that an operation (that is, a change in light) for instructing the mobile phone to display information is performed on the mobile phone in a screen- locked state, the mobile phone displays, on a screen of the mobile phone, the public-service short message service message that is received by the mobile phone from 10086, For another example, assuming that the gyroscope in the mobile phone detects that the mobile phone is rotated 80 degrees, the mobile phone may also display the public-service short message service message, which is received from 10086 before rotation and when the mobile phone is in the screen- locked state, on the screen of the mo bile phone.
[0045] According to this embodiment provided by the present disclosure, a sensor in a terminal detects whether a light parameter and/or a position parameter of the terminal changes, so as to detect whether an operation for instructing the terminal to display information is performed on the terminal in a screen-locked state, and it is determined according to a detection result whether the information received by the terminal in the screen- locked state is to be displayed. The information display manner avoids multiple operation steps required in the existing information display process and saves operation time for a user, thereby improving information display efficiency.
[0046] As an optional solution, after the receiving, by a terminal in a screen-locked state, information and before the detecting whether an operation for instructing the terminal to display the information is performed on the terminal in the screen-locked state, the method further includes:
[0047] S I : The terminal detects whether the operation is not performed on the terminal in a first preset time period after the terminal in the screen-locked state displays the received information on the screen of the terminal.
[0048] S2: If it is detected that the operation is not performed on the terminal in the first preset time period, the terminal in the screen-locked state stops displaying the information on the screen of the terminal,
[0049] Optionally, in this embodiment, the first preset time period may be preconfigured and a value of the first preset time period may be configured according to different application scenarios,
[0050] Descriptions are made specifically with reference to the following example. A mobile phone is used as an example. The mobile phone in a screen-locked state receives a piece of new information, for example, a public-service short message service message from 10086 shown in FIG. 3, The mobile phone displays, on a screen of the mobile phone, content of the new information that is just received. Then, the mobile phone detects whether an operation for instructing the mobile phone to display the information is performed on the new information in a first preset time period (for example, the first preset time period is 10s); and if within 10s after the mobile phone in the screen- locked state displays the received information on the screen of the mo bile phone, the mobile phone detects that no operation for instructing the mobile phone to display the information is performed on the mobile phone, the mobile phone stops displaying the received new information on the screen of the mobile phone. The screen of the mobile phone gradually darkens until the screen becomes blank and the information is not displayed on the screen of the mobile phone any longer,
[0051] According to this embodiment provided by the present disclosure, by detecting, in a first preset time period, whether an operation for instructing the terminal to display information is performed on the terminal, it is determined whether displaying of the information that is received by the terminal in a screen-locked state on a screen of the terminal is to be stopped, so as to achieve an objective of saving power for the terminal.
[0052] As an optional solution, after the receiving, by a terminal in a screen-locked state, information and before the detecting whether an operation for instructing the terminal to display the information is performed on the terminal in the screen-locked state, the method further includes:
[0053] SI : After the terminal in the screen- locked state displays the received information on the screen of the terminal, the terminal detects whether an instruction for indicating that the information has been read is received.
[0054] S2: If the terminal detects that the instruction for indicating that the information has been read is received, the terminal in the screen-locked state stops displaying the information on the screen of the terminal.
[0055] Optionally, in this embodiment, if it is detected that the terminal receives the instruction indicating that the information has been read, displaying of the information on the screen of the terminal is stopped in the screen- locked state. By performing the stop operation, the information is deleted from the screen. That is, after the instruction indicating that the information has been read is received, even if it is detected later that the operation for instructing the terminal to display the information is performed on the terminal, for example, the terminal is rotated 180 degrees or light of an en vironment to which the terminal belongs changes, the received information is not displayed.
[0056] Descriptions are made specifically with reference to the following examples. A mobile phone is used as an example. The mobile phone in a screen-locked state receives a piece of new information and the mobile phone displays, on a screen of the mobile phone, content of the new information that is just received. Then, the mobile phone detects whether an instruction for indicating that the information has been read (for example, a double-click on the screen) is received, and if it is detected that the mobile phone has received the instruction for indicating thai the information has been read, displaying of the information on the screen of the terminal is stopped.
[0057] For another example, if no operation for instructing the mobile phone to display the information is performed on the mobile phone in a first preset time period (for example, the first preset time period is 10s), a screen of the mobile phone darkens. If the darkened mobile phone later detects that an operation for instructing the mobile phone to display the information is performed on the mobile phone in a screen-locked state, the mobile phone displays the received information on the screen of the mobile phone in the screen-locked state again. Then, the mobile phone detects whether an instruction for indicating that the information has been read (for example, a double-click on the screen) is received, and if it is detected that the mobile phone has received the instruction for indicating that the information has been read, displaying of the information on the screen of the terminal is stopped.
[0058] According to this embodiment provided by the present disclosure, by detecting whether an instruction for indicating that the information has been read is received, the terminal determines whether displaying of the information on a screen of the terminal in a screen- locked state is to be stopped. If the instruction for indicating thai the information has been read is received, it indicates that the information has been read and displaying of the information on the screen of the terminal can be stopped. In this way, information display space on the terminal can be saved, so that the terminal can display received new information all the time and an effect of impro ving information display efficiency is achieved.
[0059] As an optional solution, the detecting, by the terminal, whether an instruction for indicating that the information has been read is received includes:
[0060] SI : The terminal in the screen- locked state detects whether an operation of double- clicking the screen is received in a second preset time period, and if the operation of double-clicking the screen is received in the second preset time period, the terminal detects that the instruction for indicating that the information has been read is received.
[0061] Optionally, in this embodiment, the second preset time period may be preconfigured and a value of the second preset time period may be configured according to different application scenarios. In addition, values of the first preset time period and the second preset time period may be configured to be same or different according to different requirements,
[0062] Descriptions are made specifically with reference to the following example. A mobile phone is used as an example. The mobile phone receives a piece of new information. During a period in which the new information is displayed on a screen, for example, a display time is 30s, assuming that the mobile phone receives an operation of double-clicking the screen in a second preset time period (for example, the second preset time period is 5s), it indicates that the mobile phone detects that an instruction for indicating that the new information has been read is received.
[0063] According to this embodiment provided by the present disclosure, by detecting whether the terminal recei ves an operation of double-clicking a screen in a second preset time period, it is determined whether the terminal receives an instruction for indicating that the information has been read. By simplifying in formal ion display operations, time is saved for a user and an effect of improving information display efficiency is achieved.
[0064] It should be noted that, for ease of description, the method embodiments described above are described as a series of action combinations. However, a person skilled in the art should know that the present disclosure is not limited to the described action sequence because some steps may be performed in another sequence or simultaneously according to the present disclosure.
Besides, a person skilled in the art also should know that the embodiments described in this specification all belong to preferable embodiments and the involved actions and modules are not necessarily necessities of the present disclosure.
[0065] Through descriptions of the above implementation manners, a person skilled in the art may clearly learn that the method in the foregoing embodiments may be implemented by using software and a necessary general hardware platform, and certainly, may also be implemented by using hardware. However, in many cases, the former is a preferred implementation manner. Based on such an understanding, the technical solutions of the present disclosure essentially, or the part contributing to the existing technology may be implemented in a form of a software product. The computer software product is stored in a storage medium (for example, a ROM/RAM, a magnetic disk, or an optical disc) and includes several instructions for instructing a terminal device (which may be a mobile phone, a computer, a server, a network device, or the like) to perform the method described in the embodiments of the present invention.
Embodiment 2
[0066] This embod iment of the present invention further provides an information display terminal for implementing the foregoing information display method. The terminal may include, but is not limited to a mobile phone and a tablet computer. For example, the terminal is a mobile phone. When a screen of the mobile phone is lighted, the screen of the mobile phone in a screen- locked state is displayed as shown in FIG. 1. The example is merely exemplary, and this embodiment is not limited thereto. [0067] Optionally, in this embodiment, the information display terminal is shown in FIG. 6,
The terminal includes:
1) a communication transmission component 602, configured to receive information when the terminal is in a screen-locked state;
2) a detection component 604, connected to the communication transmission component 602 and configured to detect whether an operation for instructing the terminal to display the information is performed on the terminal in the screen-locked state; and
3) a display component 606, connected to the detection component 604 and
configured to display, when the detection component 604 detects that the operation is performed in the screen- locked state, the recei ved informa tion on a screen of the termina l when the terminal is in the screen- locked state.
[0068] Optionally, in this embodiment, after the communication transmission component 602 receives the information when the terminal is in the screen-locked state and before the detection component 604 detects whether the operation for instructing the terminal to display the information is performed in the screen-locked state, the following is further included: the terminal in the screen- locked state displays the recei ved information on the screen of the terminal. For example, the terminal is a mobile phone. The mobile phone in a screen-locked state receives a piece of new information, for example, a public-service short message service message sent from 10086 shown in FIG. 3. Before detecting whether an operation is performed on the mobile phone in the screen- locked state, the mobile phone displays, on a screen of the mobile phone, content of the new information that is just received, so that the information can be displayed on the screen of the terminal instantly. In this way, a user can learn of the information content as soon as possible, and an effect of improving information display efficiency is achieved.
[0069] Optionally, in this embodiment, after the terminal in the screen-locked state displays the received information on the screen of the terminal, the terminal detects whether the operation for instructing the terminal to display information is not performed on the terminal in a first preset time period; and if it is detected that the operation for instructing the terminal to display information is not performed on the terminal in the first preset time period, the terminal in the screen-locked state stops displaying the information on the screen of the terminal. For example, the terminal is a mobile phone. Assuming that the first preset time period is 10s, within 10s after the mobile phone in a screen- locked state displays the received information on a screen of the mobile phone, if detecting that no operation for instructing the mobile phone to display the information is performed on the mobile phone, the mobile phone stops displaying the information on the screen of the mobile phone, that is, the screen of the mobile phone gradually blackens until the screen becomes blank and the information is not displayed on the screen of the mobile phone any longer.
[0070] Optionally, in this embodiment, after the terminal stops displaying the information, if it is detected that the operation for instructing the terminal to display the information is performed on the terminal in the screen-locked state, the terminal in the screen-locked state displays the received information on the screen of the terminal again.
[0071] Optionally, in this embodiment, the operation performed on the terminal in the screen- locked state and used for instructing the terminal to display the information may include, but is not limited to at least one of the following: a change in a position of the terminal and a change in light of an environment to which the terminal belongs.
[0072] For example, the terminal is a mobile phone. After the screen of the mobile phone darkens, if the mobile phone in the screen-locked state detects the operation for instnicting the mobile phone to display the information, for example, after a light in the room is turned on, the room becomes bright, the mobile phone displays the public-service short message service message from 10086 on the screen in the screen- locked state again.
[0073] For another example, the mobile phone displays, on a screen of the mobile phone, content of new information that is just received. Within a first preset time period (for example, the first time period is 10s) after the new information is received, the mobile phone detects an operation for instructing the mobile phone to display the information. Assuming that time when the operation is detected is 6s after the new information is received, the screen of the mobile phone is already dark at this time, and after the mobile phone detects the operation for instructing the mobile phone to display the information, the screen of the mobile phone becomes bright again and the new
information is displayed on the screen of the mobile phone again.
[ 0074] Optionally, in this embodiment, the change in the light of the environment to which the terminal belongs may include, but is not limited to: a change in luminous intensity. The luminous intensity is LI for short and an international unit thereof is candela and is cd for short. Optionally, in this embodiment, the change in the position of the terminal may include, but is not limited to at least one of the following: an angular change of the terminal and a position change of the terminal.
[0075] Optionally, in this embodiment, a sensor for detecting that the operation for instructing the terminal to display the information is performed on the terminal in the screen-locked state may include, but is not limited to a light sensor and a motion sensor. The light sensor is configured to detect a change in light of an environment to which the terminal belongs and the motion sensor is configured to detect a change in a position of the termina l. Optionally, in this embodiment, the motion sensor may be, but is not limited to a gyroscope.
[0076] Optionally, in this embodiment, if the terminal does not receive any information, the terminal may, but not necessarily, display default setting information, for example, the default setting information may be the following content: data and time,
[0077] Optionally, in this embodiment, after the terminal receives an instruction for indicating that the information displayed on the screen of the terminal has been read, the terminal stops displaying the information on the screen of the terminal in the screen- locked state. After thai, even if the terminals again detects that the operation for instructing the terminal to display the information is performed, after the screen of the mobile phone becomes bright, the information is not displayed and only a screen- locked interface shown in FIG. 1 and set by default in the mobile phone is displayed.
[0078] Optionally, in this embodiment, when the terminal receives multiple pieces of information, the pieces of information are sequentially displayed on the screen of the terminal according to time when the pieces of information are received by the terminal. Optionally, in this embodiment, the terminal displays latest unread information all the time,
[0079] Descriptions are made below with reference to specific examples shown in FIG. 4 and
FIG. [0080] Optionally, in this embodiment, a material of the screen of the terminal may be, but is not limited to an organic light-emitting diode (OLED), The OLED display technology has a self- luminous feature, and uses very thin coating made of organic materials and a glass substrate. When a current goes through the OLED, these organic materials emit light. Moreover, an OLED display screen has a large viewing angle and can save electric energy significantly. For example, when the OLED material is used in the mobile phone, the feature of the OLED can be used. The mobile phone consumes power only when displaying a word on the screen, and does not consume power when in a black background.
[0081] According to this embodiment provided by the present disclosure, after it is detected that an operation is performed on a terminal in a screen-locked state, information received by the terminal in the screen- locked state is d isplayed on a screen of the terminal, so that multiple operation steps of an information display manner in the existing technology are omitted and the information received by the terminal is directly read when the terminal is in the screen-locked state. In addition, after it is detected that an operation for instructing the terminal to display the information is performed on the terminal in the screen-locked state, the received information may be displayed on the screen of the terminal in the screen- locked state, thereby achieving an effect of improving information display efficiency.
[0082] As an optional solution, the detection component 604 includes:
1) a sensor, configured to sense a parameter for instructing the terminal to display the information;
2) a processor, connected to the sensor and configured to determine whether the parameter that is sensed by the sensor and is used for instructing the terminal to display the information changes, and if the parameter that is used for instructing the terminal to display the information changes, detect that the operation is performed in the screen-locked state.
[0083] Optionally, in this embodiment, the sensor in the terminal may include, but is not limited to a light sensor and a motion sensor. The motion sensor may be, but is not limited to a gyroscope. Optionally, in this embodiment, the parameter for instructing the terminal to display the information may include, but is not limited to at least one of the following: a light parameter and a position parameter,
[0084] Optionally, in this embodiment, the sensor includes at least one of the fo llowing:
[0085] 1) a light sensor is configured to sense a light parameter of an environment to which the terminal belongs; and
[0086] 2) a motion sensor is configured to sense a position parameter of the terminal. [0087] Optionally, in this embodiment, the light parameter of the terminal may include, but is not limited to: luminous intensity. The luminous intensity is LI for short and an international unit thereof is candela and is cd for short. Optionally, in this embodiment, the position parameter of the terminal includes at least one of the following: a parameter for indicating an angular change of the terminal and a parameter for indicating a position change of the terminal.
[0088] Descriptions are made specifically with reference to the following examples. A mobile phone is used as an example. For example, assuming the mobile phone is placed in an environment in which LI is A for 10 minutes, at the second minute after the mobile phone is placed in the environment, the mobile phone receives a public-service short message service message from 10086 shown in FIG. 3. Therefore, after the 10 minutes, when the LI of the environment to which the mobile phone belongs changes to B, because it is detected that an operation (that is, a change in light) for instructing the mobile phone to display information is performed on the mobi le phone in a screen-locked state, the mobile phone displays, on a screen of the mobile phone, the public-service short message service message that is received by the mobile phone from 10086. For another example, assuming that the gyroscope in the mobile phone detects that the mobile phone is rotated 180 degrees, the mobile phone may also display the public-service short message service message, which is received from 10086 before rotation and when the mobile phone is in the screen- locked state, on the screen of the mobile phone.
[0089] According to this embodiment provided by the present disclosure, a sensor in a terminal detects whether a light parameter and/or a position parameter of the terminal changes, so as to detect whether an operation for instructing the terminal to display information is performed on the terminal in a screen-locked state, and it is determined according to a detection result whether the information received by the terminal in the screen-locked state is to be displayed. The information display manner avoids multiple operation steps required in the existing information display process and saves operation time for a user, thereby improving information display efficiency.
[0090] As an optional solution, in this embodiment, the display component 606 is further configured to display, after the communication transmission component 602 receives the information when the terminal is in the screen-locked state and before the detection component 604 detects whether the operation for instructing the terminal to display the information is performed on the terminal in the screen-locked state, the received information on the screen of the terminal when the terminal is in the screen-locked state.
[0091] A mobile phone is used as an example. The mobile phone in a screen-locked state receives a piece of new information, and before the mobile phone detects whether an operation is performed on the mobile phone in the screen-locked state, the mobile phone displays, on a screen of the mobile phone, content of the new information that is just received.
[0092] According to this embodiment provided by the present disclosure, after a terminal in a screen-locked state receives information and before it is detected whether an operation is performed on the terminal in the screen-locked state, the received information is displayed on a screen of the terminal, so that the information can be displayed instantly. In this way, a user can learn of the information content as soon as possible, and an effect of improving information display efficiency is achieved.
[0093] As an optional solution, in this embodiment, the detection component 604 is further configured to detect, after the communication transmission component 602 receives the information when the terminal is in the screen-locked state and before the detection component 604 detects whether the operation for instructing the terminal to display the information is performed on the terminal in the screen-locked state, whether the operation is not performed on the terminal in a first preset time period after the received information is displayed on the screen of the terminal in the screen-locked state; and when it is detected that the operation is not performed on the terminal in the first preset time period, stop displaying the information on the screen of the terminal when the terminal is in the screen-locked state.
[0094] Optionally, in this embodiment, the first preset time period may be preconfigured and a value of the first preset time period may be configured according to different application scenarios.
[0095] Descriptions are made specifically with reference to the following example. A mobile phone is used as an example. The mobile phone in a screen-locked state receives a piece of new information, for example, a public-service short message service message from 0086 shown in FIG. 3. The mobile phone displays, on a screen of the mobile phone, content of the new information that is just received. Then, the mobile phone detects whether an operation for instructing the mobile phone to display the information is performed on the new information in a first preset time period (for example, the first preset time period is 10s); and if within 10s after the mobile phone in the screen- locked state displ ays the received information on the screen of the mo bile phone, the mobile phone detects that no operation for instructing the mobile phone to display the information is performed on the mobile phone, the mobile phone stops displaying the received new information on the screen of the mobile phone. The screen of the mobile phone gradually darkens until the screen becomes blank and the information is not displayed on the screen of the mobile phone any longer,
[0096] According to this embodiment provided by the present disclosure, by detecting, in a first preset time period, whether an operation for instructing the terminal to display information is performed on the terminal, it is determined whether displaying of the information that is received by the terminal in a screen- locked state on a screen of the terminal is to be stopped, so as to achieve an objective of saving power for the terminal.
[0097] As an optional solution, in this embodiment, the detection component 604 is further configured to detect, after the communication transmission component 602 receives the information when the terminal is in the screen-locked state and before the detection component 604 detects whether the operation for instructing the terminal to display the information is performed on the terminal in the screen-locked state, whether an instruction for indicating that the information has been read is received by the terminal after the display component 606 displays the received information on the screen of the terminal in the screen-locked state; and when it is detected that the instruction for indicating thai the information has been read is received, stop displaying the information on the screen of the terminal when the terminal is in the screen-locked state.
[0098] Optionally, in this embodiment, if it is detected that the terminal receives the instruction indicating that the informa tion has been read, displaying of the information on the screen of the terminal is stopped in the screen-locked state. By performing the stop operation, the information is deleted from the screen. That is, after the instruction indicating that the information has been read is received, even if it is detected later that the operation for instnicting the terminal to display the information is performed on the terminal, for example, the terminal is rotated 180 degrees or light of an environment to which the terminal belongs changes, the received information is not displayed.
[0099] Descriptions are made specifically with reference to the following examples. A mobile phone is used as an example. The mobile phone in a screen-locked state receives a piece of new information and the mobile phone displays, on a screen of the mobile phone, content of the new information that is just received. Then, the mobile phone detects whether an instruction for indicating that the information has been read (for example, a double-click on the screen) is received, and if it is detected that the mobile phone has received the instruction for indicating that the information has been read, displaying of the information on the screen of the terminal is stopped.
[0100] For another example, if no operation for instructing the mobile phone to display the information is performed on the mobile phone in a first preset time period (for example, the first preset time period is 10s), a screen of the mobile phone darkens. If the darkened mobile phone later detects that an operation for instructing the mobile phone to display the information is performed on the mobile phone in a screen-locked state, the mobile phone displays the received information on the screen of the mobile phone in the screen- locked state again. Then, the mobile phone detects whether an instruction for indicating that the information has been read (for example, a double-click on the screen) is received, and if it is detected that the mobile phone has received the instruction for indicating that the information has been read, displaying of the information on the screen of the terminal is stopped,
[0101] According to this embodiment provided by the present disclosure, by detecting whether an instruction for indicating that the information has been read is received, the terminal determines whether displaying of the information on a screen of the terminal in a screen- locked state is to be slopped. If the instruction for indicating that the information has been read is received, it indicates that the information has been read and displaying of the information on the screen of the terminal can be stopped. In this way, information display space on the terminal can be saved, so that the terminal can display received new information all the time and an effect of improving
information display efficiency is achieved.
[0102] As an optional solution, the detection component 604 may detect, by performing the following step, whether the terminal receives the instruction for indicating that the information has been read: detecting, in the screen- locked state, whether the terminal receives an operation of double- clicking the screen in a second preset time period, and if the operation of double-clicking the screen is received in the second preset time period, detecting that the terminal receives the instruction for indicating that the information has been read.
[0103] Optionally, in this embodiment, the second preset time period may be preconfigured and a value of the second preset time period may be configured according to different application scenarios. In addition, values of the first preset time period and the second preset time period may be configured to be same or different according to different requirements.
[0104] Descriptions are made specifically with reference to the following example, A mobile phone is used as an example.
[0105] According to this embodiment provided by the present disclosure, by detecting whether the terminal receives an operation of double-clicking a screen in a second preset time period, it is determined whether the terminal receives an instruction for indicating that the information has been read. By simplifying information display operations, time is saved for a user and an effect of improving information display efficiency is achieved. [0106] The sequence numbers of the foregoing embodiments of the present invention are merely for the convenience of description, and do not imply the preference among the embodiments.
