Abstract

The present invention relates to a computer case for a small form factor computer with ergonomically placed connectors, ports and sockets for accessing peripherals that may be used for a small desktop computer which is attached to a monitor, a data network, keyboard, mouse and other peripherals. The technical problem this invention tries to solve is to reduce the number of cables used to connect the computer to the monitor and other peripherals. One objective of this invention is to free the space occupied by the small computer on the desk or on the floor. Another objective of this invention is to reduce the number of contacts that involve plugs and sockets between computer and the peripherals. Yet another important objective is to reduce the size and the weight of the computer. The computer case for a small form factor computer with ergonomically placed connectors, ports and sockets for accessing peripherals, according to the invention, presents the following advantages: Eliminates the need for a video cable between the computer and the monitor. - Can be miniaturized a lot because it exposes fewer sockets compared with other devices with similar functionality. - The computer does not occupy space on the desk but is attached behind a monitor or TV set.
