Abstract

본 발명은 수면이나 휴식을 취할 때 사용자의 머리와 목 부위를 안정적으로 지지해 주어 바른 자세를 유지할 수 있도록 해 주는 경추보호 베개에 관한 것이다. 경추보호 베개는 머리의 후부가 안착되는 안착부와, 상기 안착부의 양측에 각각 연결되어 머리의 양측부를 지지하는 한 쌍의 머리 지지부, 및 상기 안착부의 하측에 연결되어 경추를 지지해주는 경추 지지부를 포함한다.

Description

경추보호 베개
본 발명은 수면이나 휴식을 취할 때 사용자의 머리와 목 부위를 안정적으로 지지해주는 경추보호 베개에 관한 것이다.
일반적으로 베개는 수면이나 휴식을 위해 누울 때 머리 부위를 지지하기 위해 사용하는 것으로, 베개의 형상에 따라서 수면의 질이 달라지고 근골격계를 비롯해서 신경계에 이르기까지 다양한 영향을 미치게 된다.
즉, 수면을 취하는 동안 베개의 상태에 따라 인체 골격의 정렬상태와 신경 및 혈액순환에 영향을 미치게 되는데, 머리와 골반에 이르는 척추의 정렬상태는 물론 늑골, 견갑골 특히 흔히 목뼈라고 하는 경추의 위치와 그 상태에 영향을 미치게 되는 것이다.
한편, 사람이 누우면 등과 머리가 바닥에 닿게 되는데 중추골격 상 목 부분과 등 사이에는 공간이 형성된다. 따라서, 베개를 받쳐주어 머리와 경추를 안정적으로 지지해 주어야 하는데, 종래의 베개는 단순히 머리만 지지해 주는 것이어서 수면 시에 경추로 스트레스가 가해지게 되고, 심지어 잘못된 수면자세로 인해 경추가 변형되어 목 디스크를 유발하기도 한다.
특히, 유아의 경우에는 뼈가 약하고 머리를 지탱하는 힘이 부족하므로 유모차나 차량용 카시트에 태워 이동하거나 수면 시에 베개를 이용하여 바른 자세를 유지할 수 있도록 해주어야 한다.
따라서, 수면이나 휴식을 취할 때 머리뿐 아니라 경추까지 안정적으로 지지할 수 있는 베개의 개발이 필요하다.
본 발명의 과제는 수면이나 휴식을 취할 때 사용자의 머리와 경추 부위를 함께 안정적으로 지지해 주어 바른 자세를 유지할 수 있도록 해 주는 경추보호 베개를 제공함에 있다.
상기의 과제를 달성하기 위한 본 발명에 따른 경추보호 베개는 머리의 후부가 안착되는 안착부와, 상기 안착부의 양측에 각각 연결되어 머리의 양측부를 지지하는 한 쌍의 머리 지지부, 및 상기 안착부의 하측에 연결되어 경추를 지지해주는 경추 지지부를 포함한다.
본 발명에 따르면, 사용자가 수면을 취할 때 바닥면과 닿지 않는 경추 부위를 안정적으로 지지해주게 되어 경추를 보호해 주고, 바른 자세를 유지할 수 있도록 하여 편안한 수면을 이룰 수 있게 해준다.
또한, 경추보호 베개를 유아가 사용할 경우, 머리 지지부가 유아의 머리 양측부를 흔들리지 않게 고정시켜주므로 흔들린 증후군을 미연에 방지할 수 있게 된다. 이에 따라, 유아를 카시트나 유모차에 태우고 안전하게 이동할 수 있게 된다.
아울러, 머리 지지부의 하측에 목 지지부가 연결됨에 따라 목 부위의 피로도를 줄일 수 있으며, 의자에 앉은 상태에서도 사용이 가능해진다.

이하 첨부된 도면을 참조하여 바람직한 실시예에 따른 본 발명을 상세히 설명한다.
도 1은 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 경추 보호베개를 도시한 도면이고, 도 2는 도 1에 도시된 경추 보호베개의 측단면도이다. 그리고, 도 3은 도 1에 도시된 경추 보호베개의 사용 상태를 도시한 도면이다.
도 1 내지 도 3에 도시된 바와 같이, 경추 보호베개(100)는 안착부(110)와, 머리 지지부(120), 및 경추 지지부(130)를 포함한다.
안착부(110)는 머리의 후부가 안착되는 곳으로, 사용자가 누웠을 때 바닥으로부터 전달되는 충격을 흡수할 수 있도록 일정 두께를 갖도록 형성된다. 여기서, 안착부(110)는 평편한 면을 갖도록 형성될 수 있으며, 직물소재로 이루어질 수 있다. 그리고, 충격을 흡수하고 머리의 형상에 맞게 변형 가능하도록 내부에 라텍스, 폴리우레탄, 편백, 솜, 폴리프로필렌(polypropylene) 중 선택된 어느 하나가 충진되어 일정 두께를 형성할 수 있다.
머리 지지부(120)는 사용자의 머리 양측부를 지지하는 것으로, 한 쌍으로 이루어져 안착부(110)의 양측에 각각 연결될 수 있다. 머리 지지부(120)는 안착부(110)와 마찬가지로 직물소재로 이루어질 수 있으며, 내부에 라텍스, 폴리우레탄, 편백, 솜, 폴리프로필렌(polypropylene) 중 선택된 어느 하나가 충진되어 일정 두께를 형성할 수 있다.
이때, 머리 지지부(120)는 사용자의 머리 양측부를 보다 안정적으로 지지해주기 위해 안착부(110)의 두께보다 두껍게 형성하는 것이 바람직하다. 이처럼 머리 지지부(120)가 안착부(110)의 두께보다 두껍게 형성되면, 경추 보호베개(100)의 사용 시에 안착부(110)와 머리 지지부(120)의 연결부위가 머리 무게에 의해 바닥과 맞닿게 되어 머리 지지부(120)의 끝단이 상측으로 이동하게 된다. 이에 따라, 도 3에 도시된 바와 같이 머리 지지부(120)가 사용자의 머리 양측부를 감싸는 형태가 되어 사용자는 보다 바른 자세로 휴식을 취할 수 있게 된다.
특히, 경추보호 베개(100)를 유아가 사용할 경우에는 머리 지지부(120)가 유아의 머리 양측부를 지지하여 움직이지 못하도록 고정시켜주게 되므로, 유아를 카시트나 유모차에 태우고 이동하더라도 유아의 머리가 좌우로 흔들리지 않게 되어 흔들린 증후군을 미연에 방지할 수 있게 된다.
한편, 머리 지지부(120)의 상부를 안착부(110) 보다 상측으로 돌출되게 형성하여 머리의 측부 전체를 감싸도록 할 수도 있다. 이에 따라, 사용자는 수면이나 휴식 시에 안정감을 갖게 된다.
경추 지지부(130)는 안착부(110)의 하측에 연결되어 경추를 지지해주는 역할을 한다. 여기서, 경추는 머리뼈와 등뼈 사이에 있는 뼈로, 목등뼈, 목뼈라고도 하며, 일반적으로 “C자” 형태로 이루어진다.
이처럼, 경추가 “C자” 형태로 이루어짐에 따라 사용자가 평편한 바닥에 눕게 되면, 등과 머리만 바닥에 닿게 되고 목 부분은 바닥과 떨어져 공간이 생기게 된다. 따라서, 수면 시에 머리 부분만 지지해주게 되면 목 부분과 척추에 스트레스가 가해지므로, 경추 지지부(130)재를 통해 머리뿐 아니라 경추를 함께 지지해 주게 되면 목 부분과 척추에 가해지는 스트레스를 줄이고, 바른 자세를 유지할 수 있게 된다.
경추 지지부(130)는 경추 형상과 대응되도록 중앙이 볼록하게 형성될 수 있다. 이에 따라, 경추 지지부(130)재의 볼록한 부분에 사용자의 목 부위가 안착되어 경추를 보다 안정적으로 지지해 줄 수 있게 된다. 여기서, 경추 지지부(130)는 직물소재로 이루어질 수 있으며, 내부에 라텍스, 폴리우레탄, 편백, 솜, 폴리프로필렌(polypropylene) 중 선택된 어느 하나가 충진되어 일정 두께를 형성할 수 있다.
전술한 바와 같이, 경추보호 베개(100)는 사용자가 수면을 취할 때 바닥면과 닿지 않는 경추 부위를 안정적으로 지지해주게 되어 경추를 보호해 주고, 바른 자세를 유지할 수 있도록 하여 편안한 수면을 이룰 수 있게 해준다.
아울러, 경추보호 베개(100)를 유아가 사용할 경우, 머리 지지부(120)가 유아의 머리 양측부를 흔들리지 않게 고정시켜주므로 흔들린 증후군을 미연에 방지할 수 있게 된다. 이에 따라, 유아를 카시트나 유모차에 태우고 안전하게 이동할 수 있게 된다.
도 4는 본 발명의 다른 실시예에 따른 경추보호 베개를 도시한 도면이고, 도 5는 도 4에 도시된 경추보호 베개의 사용 상태를 도시한 도면이다. 그리고, 도 6은 도 5에 도시된 경추보호 베개의 상측을 도시한 도면이다. 본 실시예에서는 앞서 설명한 실시예와 차이가 있는 내용을 중심으로 설명하기로 한다.
도 4 내지 도 6에 도시된 바와 같이, 경추보호 베개(200)는 목 지지부(240)를 더 포함할 수 있다.
목 지지부(240)는 목의 양측부를 지지하는 것으로, 한 쌍으로 이루어져 머리 지지부(120)들의 각 하측에 연결될 수 있다. 이처럼 목 지지부(240)가 사용자의 목 부위를 감싸도록 형성됨에 따라 의자에 앉은 상태에서도 사용할 수 있게 된다. 예를 들어, 장거리 여행 시에 경추보호 베개(200)를 비행기나 기차의 좌석에 안착시켜 사용하게 되면, 머리 부위뿐 아니라 목 부위를 안정적으로 받쳐주게 되어 목 부위의 피로도를 줄일 수 있게 된다.
한편, 목 지지부(240)는 사용자의 목 둘레에 안정적으로 착용되도록 머리 지지부(120)의 전면으로 돌출되며, 목의 양측부를 감싸도록 끝단이 내측으로 굴곡지게 형성될 수 있다. 그리고, 직물소재로 이루어질 수 있으며, 내부에 라텍스, 폴리우레탄, 편백, 솜, 폴리프로필렌(polypropylene) 중 선택된 어느 하나가 충진되어 일정 두께를 형성할 수 있다.
이처럼, 머리 지지부(120)의 하측에 목 지지부(240)가 연결됨에 따라 목 부위의 피로도를 줄일 수 있으며, 의자에 앉은 상태에서도 사용이 가능해지게 된다.
본 발명은 첨부된 도면에 도시된 일 실시예를 참고로 설명되었으나 이는 예시적인 것에 불과하며, 당해 기술분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자라면 이로부터 다양한 변형 및 균등한 타 실시예가 가능하다는 점을 이해할 수 있을 것이다. 따라서, 본 발명의 진정한 보호 범위는 첨부된 청구 범위에 의해서만 정해져야 할 것이다.

Claims (5)

  1. 머리의 후부가 안착되는 안착부;
    상기 안착부의 양측에 각각 연결되어 머리의 양측부를 지지하는 한 쌍의 머리 지지부; 및
    상기 안착부의 하측에 연결되어 경추를 지지해주는 경추 지지부;
    를 포함하는 경추보호 베개.
  2. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 머리 지지부는 상기 안착부의 두께보다 두껍게 형성되며, 상부가 상기 안착부의 상측방향으로 돌출되게 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 경추보호 베개.
  3. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 머리 지지부들의 각 하측에 연결되어 목의 양측부를 지지하는 한 쌍의 목 지지부를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 경추보호 베개.
  4. 제3항에 있어서,
    상기 목 지지부는 상기 머리 지지부들의 전면으로 돌출되며, 목의 양측부를 감싸도록 끝단이 내측으로 굴곡지게 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 경추보호 베개.
  5. 제3항에 있어서,
    상기 안착부와, 머리 지지부와, 경추 지지부와, 목 지지부 내에는 라텍스, 폴리우레탄, 편백, 솜, 폴리프로필렌(polypropylene) 중 선택된 어느 하나가 충진된 것을 특징으로 하는 경추보호 베개.
