A compact type airtight cosmetic case holding puff type cosmetics containing cosmetic liquid is provided. The compact type airtight cosmetic case is configured such that a puff receiving cap is coupled, in a threaded fastening method, to an upper portion of a middle body coupled with a refill case holding cosmetics therein, and an airtight operator coupled to a lower portion of the puff receiving cap presses the upper portion of the middle body not by rotation but by vertical movement as the puff receiving cap is rotated, thus enhancing airtightness and blocking air circulation, thereby preventing the moisture of the cosmetics from evaporating and preventing the cosmetics from spoiling. Therefore, the cosmetic case has high marketability.
Description
The present invention relates, in general, to a compact type airtight cosmetic case holding a puff impregnated with cosmetic liquid and, more particularly, to a compact type airtight cosmetic case, in which a puff receiving cap is coupled, in a threaded fastening method, to an upper portion of a middle body coupled with a refill case holding cosmetics therein; and an airtight operator coupled to a lower portion of the puff receiving cap presses the upper portion of the middle body not by rotation but by vertical movement as the puff receiving cap is rotated, thus enhancing airtightness and blocking air circulation, thereby preventing the moisture of the cosmetics from evaporating and preventing the cosmetics from spoiling.
Generally, a cosmetic case holding puff type cosmetics containing cosmetic liquid or other liquid powder type cosmetics adopts an airtight structure so as to prevent the moisture in the cosmetics from evaporating and to prevent the cosmetics from spoiling. Currently, for the purpose of recycling resources or ensuring convenient use, a refill case holding cosmetics is used. The refill case is installed in a compact type cosmetic case or the like to refill cosmetics.
Various types of cosmetic cases having such an airtight structure are commonly known.
For example, such airtight structures are proposed in Korean U.M. Registration No. 20-0165402, Korean Patent Laid-Open Publication No. 10-2009-0070306, Korean Patent No. 10-1063477, etc. According to the cited documents, airtightness is ensured simply by rendering a cover to come into close contact with a packing when the cover is closed in a structure of moving the cover up and down to open or close a body. However, it is difficult to achieve high airtightness simply by virtue of the contact with the packing.
Further, Korean Patent No. 10-1268157 and Korean U.M. Laid-Open Publication No. 20-2010-0008874 are configured such that, when a cap is rotated and coupled in a threaded fastening method, it comes into close contact with the packing, thus providing airtightness. This configuration is larger in the pressing force of the packing than the above-mentioned structure of moving the cover up and down to open or close the case. However, as the cap is rotated and coupled in the threaded fastening method, the packing is also rotated along with the cap and is thereby twisted. Consequently, this configuration does not ensure high airtightness.
Since the cosmetic case does not have high airtightness as such, the moisture of the cosmetics held in the cosmetic case may evaporate and the cosmetics may spoil due to the air circulation. Thereby, it is difficult to store the cosmetics, and the marketability of the cosmetic case is poor.
Further, the refill case holding the puff type cosmetics containing the cosmetic liquid is problematic in that it is composed of at least two or more pieces so as to prevent the unintentional removal of the cosmetics, so that the configuration of the refill case is complex and the refill case is expensive due to the increase in manufacturing cost, and thus it is uneconomical.

FIG. 11 is a sectional view showing the use of the present invention.
Hereinbelow, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
As shown in FIGS. 1 to 9, a compact type airtight cosmetic case according to the present invention includes a lower body 10, an upper body 20 coupled to an upper portion of the lower body via a hinge 21 to be opened or closed in a vertical direction and locked or unlocked by a locker 22, a middle body 30 provided in the lower body 10 and coupled with a refill case 40 holding cosmetics therein, and a puff receiving cap 50 seated in an upper portion of the middle body and receiving a puff 56 in a space 55 defined in a central portion of an upper portion thereof.
The cosmetic case includes a fixing ring 62 coupled to the upper portion of the middle body 30 via a hinge 61 to be rotated in a vertical direction, a guide ring 52 integrated with a lower portion of the puff receiving cap 50 and inserted into the fixing ring 62, and a threaded portion 54 coupling the guide ring 52 with the middle body 30 in a threaded fastening method. Here, a spirally inclined guide groove 63 is formed on an inner circumference of the fixing ring 62, and a guide protrusion 53 is provided on an outer circumference of the guide ring 52 to correspond to the guide groove and thereby be guided along the guide groove 63, so that the cosmetic case is airtightly closed or opened as the threaded portion 54 creates coupling or uncoupling in the threaded fastening method by a rotation of the puff receiving cap 50.
Particularly, a fitting space 51 is provided inside the guide ring 52 of the puff receiving cap 50, and an airtight operator 70 is fitted into the fitting space to prevent removal thereof, the airtight operator having a ring-shaped packing 75 that is integrally coupled to a groove 71 formed along an outer periphery of a lower portion thereof, so that, when the puff receiving cap 50 is rotated and coupled to the middle body 30, the airtight protrusion 76 provided on a lower portion of the ring-shaped packing 75 airtightly presses an upper support step 41 of the refill case 40 that is seated on an upper end of the middle body 30.
The airtight operator is fitted to prevent removal thereof by locking a support step 72, protruding from an outer periphery of the airtight operator 70, to a locking step 57 formed in the fitting space 51 of the puff receiving cap 50, and the airtight operator 70 fitted into the fitting space 51 is idly rotated when the puff receiving cap 50 is rotated, so that the puff receiving cap 50 is rotated and fastened to the middle body 30 in the threaded fastening method, the airtight operator 70 comes into contact with the upper support step 41 of the refill case 40 while performing a pressing operation in the vertical direction, thus realizing an airtight sealing operation.
Further, a triangular projection 73 is annularly formed on an upper portion of the airtight operator 70 to be in line contact with the puff receiving cap 50, so that frictional resistance is low and thereby the airtight operator is not rotated but is vertically moved to perform a pressing operation and achieve airtight sealing, when the puff receiving cap 50 is rotated to be fastened in the threaded fastening method.
Moreover the refill case 40 includes a sealing surface 43, a contact groove 44 and a projection 42 by integral molding, such as blower molding. The sealing surface 43 is attached to an upper surface of the upper support step 41 via a cover paper 45. The contact groove 44 is formed on a central portion of the sealing surface such that the airtight protrusion 76 provided on a lower portion of the ring-shaped packing 75 is in contact with and pressed against the contract groove. The projection 42 is provided on an inner peripheral surface of the refill case to support puff type cosmetics and thereby prevent undesirable movement or removal thereof.
Further, the present invention may be implemented as shown in FIG. 10. That is, a through hole 38 is formed in a lower portion of the middle body 30, and a coupling stepped portion 48 is formed on a lower portion of the refill case 40 to be press-fitted into the through hole 38 so that the middle body is assembled with the refill case. When the refill case is replaced with a new one, the coupling stepped portion 48 is pressed from the lower portion of the middle body 30 to be separated therefrom.
According to the present invention, the cosmetics 100 are puff type cosmetics containing cosmetic liquid. The puff is preferably made of sponge, but may be made of foamed NBR, polyester, nylon, etc. All of them form a pad having elasticity, and then the pad is impregnated with the cosmetic liquid. The method of impregnating the pad type puff with the cosmetic liquid is already known to those skilled in the art. For example, the puff may be settled in a container holding liquid cosmetics to be impregnated therewith. In addition, various impregnation methods may be employed.
Meanwhile, an upper pulling step 46 is formed on a lower portion on an outer side of the upper support step 41 of the refill case 40 in such a way as to be inclined inwards. When a user desires to separate the refill case 40 from the middle body 30, he or she can easily take the refill case 40 out from the middle body 30 by inserting his or her fingertip or separating tools into the upper pulling step 46.
Next, the operation and effect of the present invention configured as described above will be described.
First, the operation of closing the cosmetic case according to the present invention will be described. Along with the fixing ring 62 coupled to the upper portion of the middle body 30 via the hinge 61, the puff receiving cap 50 is rotated about the hinge 61 to be placed on the middle body 30.
In such a state, the puff receiving cap 50 is rotated, so that the guide ring 52 integrally provided on the lower portion of the puff receiving cap 50 is coupled to the threaded portion 54 of the middle body 30 in a threaded fastening method.
At this time, the guide protrusion 53 formed on the outer circumference of the guide ring 52 of the puff receiving cap 50 is guided downwards along the guide groove 63 that is spirally inclined on the inner circumference of the fixing ring 62.
As such, as soon as the puff receiving cap 50 is coupled to the middle body 30, the airtight operator 70 coupled to the lower portion of the puff receiving cap 50 is moved downwards.
Here, the support step 72 provided on the outer periphery of the airtight operator 70 engages with the locking step 57 of the fitting space 51 defined inside the guide ring 52 of the puff receiving cap 50, and the airtight operator 70 is coupled to the puff receiving cap 50 in such a way as to be idly rotated relative thereto. Thus, when the puff receiving cap 50 is rotated to be coupled in the threaded fastening method, the airtight operator 70 is initially rotated and moved down along with the puff receiving cap 50. Subsequently, once the packing 75 of the airtight operator 70 comes into contact with the upper support step 41 of the refill case 40, the airtight operator 70 is not rotated by a frictional force and performs a vertical pressing operation, thus realizing airtight sealing.
Moreover, the triangular projection 73 is formed on the upper portion of the airtight operator 70 and is in line contact with the puff receiving cap 50. Hence, when the puff receiving cap 50 is rotated to be coupled in a threaded fastening method, the rotation of the airtight operator 70 is prevented due to low frictional resistance. Thereby, the airtight operator 70 vertically presses the upper support step 41 of the refill case 40, thus more effectively providing the airtight sealing operation.
In addition, the airtight protrusion 76 provided on the lower portion of the packing 75 of the airtight operator 70 is pressed against and in close contact with the contact groove 44 that is formed on the central portion of the sealing surface on the upper surface of the upper support step 41 of the refill case 40, thus increasing a contact area and thereby achieving more effective airtight sealing.
As such, when the puff receiving cap 50 is rotated to be coupled in the threaded fastening method, the packing 75 of the airtight operator 70 does not rotate the upper support step 41 of the refill case 40 seated on the upper end of the middle body 30 but vertically presses the upper support step 41 of the refill case 40 to achieve the airtight sealing, thus ensuring higher airtightness as compared to the conventional cosmetic case, and reliably preventing the packing 75 from being damaged due to rotational friction.
Further, the puff receiving cap 50 is prevented from being unfastened from the middle body 30, thus effectively maintaining the airtight coupling state. This is realized by the following configuration: the guide protrusion 53 formed on the outer circumference of the guide ring 52 of the puff receiving cap 50 is guided downwards along the guide groove 63 which is formed on the inner circumference of the fixing ring 62 in such a way as to be spirally inclined, and thereafter is locked by a horizontal guide groove 63 formed on an end of the guide groove 63 and a locking step of the horizontal guide groove 63' thus preventing the removal of the puff receiving cap 50.
In this way, it is possible to more effectively achieve and maintain the airtightness of the cosmetic case, thus effectively preventing moisture evaporation and deterioration of puff type cosmetics containing cosmetic liquid.
Next, the operation of opening the cosmetic case according to the present invention will be described. The locker 22 of the upper body 20 is released and the upper body 20 is rotated to be opened. Subsequently, the puff receiving cap 50 is rotated in a reverse direction to be unfastened from the middle body 30.
At this time, the guide protrusion 53 formed on the outer circumference of the guide ring 52 of the puff receiving cap 50 is guided upwards along the guide groove 63 that is formed on the inner circumference of the fixing ring 62 in such a way as to be spirally inclined.
As soon as the puff receiving cap 50 is released from the middle body 30, the airtight operator 70 coupled to the lower portion of the puff receiving cap 50 is moved up. Thereby, the ring-shaped packing 75 provided under the puff receiving cap 50 is spaced apart from the middle body 30, thus releasing the airtight state.
In such a state, the puff receiving cap 50 and the fixing ring 62 rotate about the hinge 61 to be opened, thus allowing the cosmetics 100 to be used.
Further, according to the present invention, the refill case 40 is manufactured in a single structure by blow molding. The sealing surface 43 having the cover paper 45 attached to the upper surface of the upper support step 41, the contact groove 44 formed on the central portion of the sealing surface 43 to come into contact with the ring-shaped packing 75, and the projection 42 formed on the inner periphery of the refill case 40 are integrated with each other, thus providing an economical structure.
Furthermore, the projection 42 provided on the inner peripheral surface of the refill case 40 prevents the movement or removal of the puff type cosmetics 100 containing the cosmetic liquid, thus guaranteeing efficient storage and use.
Meanwhile, when the cosmetics 100 of the refill case 40 are used up, it is possible to separate the refill case 40 from the middle body 30 and replace only the refill case 40 with a new one. This replacement is performed as follows. As shown in FIG. 5, a fingertip is inserted into the upper pulling step 46 that is obliquely formed on the lower portion of the outer side of the upper support step 41 formed on the upper portion of the refill case 40, so that the refill case 40 is forcibly separated from the middle body 30. Alternatively, as shown in FIG. 10, when the coupling stepped portion 48 provided on the lower portion of the refill case 40 is press-fitted into the through hole 38 formed in the lower portion of the middle body 30, a user has only to press the coupling stepped portion 48 at the lower portion of the middle body 30, thus allowing the refill case 40 to be simply separated from the middle body 30 and replaced with a new one.
Although the embodiments of the present invention have been disclosed for illustrative purposes, those skilled in the art will appreciate that various modifications, additions and substitutions are possible, without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention as disclosed in the accompanying claims. In particular, the cosmetics held in the refill case of the compact type airtight cosmetic case according to the present invention are described based on puff type cosmetics. However, it is possible to naturally apply the cosmetic case of this invention to airtightly pack semisolid cosmetics or other cosmetics without being limited to puff type cosmetics.
