Abstract
본 발명은 일루미네이터와 소정의 각도를 이루도록 일루미네이터의 일단에 장착되는 차퍼를 통하여 시인성을 확보하면서도 수정체 핵을 작은 조각으로 시술하는 일루미네이션 차퍼를 제공한다.
Description
본 발명은 일루미네이션 차퍼에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 일루미네이터와 소정의 각도를 이루도록 일루미네이터의 일단에 장착되는 차퍼를 통하여 시인성을 확보하면서도 수정체 핵을 작은 조각으로 시술하는 일루미네이션 차퍼에 관한 것이다.
의료분야에서 망막 시술을 할 경우에는 일반적으로 일루미네이터(illuminator)를 주로 사용하고, 백내장 시술을 할 경우에는 차퍼(chopper)를 사용한다.
여기서, 각각의 시술에 따라 일루미네이터나 차퍼를 따로 사용하게 되는데, 상기한 시술 과정에서 시술자는 시술을 위한 일루미네이터나 차퍼를 손에 쥐고, 다른 한 손에는 시야 확보를 위한 조명기기나 보조도구를 쥔 상태에서 시술하게 된다.
즉, 상기한 바와 같은 각각 시술하는 방법은 시술자가 양손에 시술도구를 쥔 상태에서 시술하게 되므로 장시간에 걸쳐서 시술이 진행되는 경우, 시술자의 손에 무리가 가해져 통증을 유발할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 시술의 정확도를 떨어뜨리는 문제가 발생할 소지가 있다.
또한, 조명기기가 외부에서 환자의 환부로 빛을 조사하므로 조사되는 빛에 비하여 효율이 떨어지는 문제점이 있었다.

상기와 같은 문제점을 해결하기 위한 본 발명의 목적은 내부에 광파이버가 배치되는 일루미네이터의 일단에 소정의 각도를 이루도록 장착되는 차퍼의 결합구조를 통하여 시인성을 향상시킴과 동시에 수정체 핵을 작은 조각으로 분리하는 일루미네이션 차퍼를 제공하는 것이다.
상기와 같은 문제점을 해결하기 위한 본 발명에 따른 일루미네이션 차퍼는 빛을 조사하는 일루미네이터; 상기 일루미네이터의 일단에 장착되어 상기 일루미네이터와 소정의 각도를 이루는 차퍼; 및 상기 일루미네이터를 둘러싸는 그립부;를 포함하고, 상기 일루미네이터와 상기 차퍼가 이루는 상기 소정의 각도에 따라 시인성이 변화하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
바람직하게는, 상기 일루미네이터는, 상기 빛을 통과시키는 바디홀을 포함하는 바디; 및 상기 바디홀 내측에 위치하는 광파이버;를 포함하고, 상기 광파이버는 상기 바디의 일단을 향하여 상기 빛을 조사하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
바람직하게는, 상기 일루미네이션 차퍼는, 상기 광파이버로 전원을 공급하기 위한 전원공급부; 및 상기 광파이버와 상기 전원공급부 사이를 전기적으로 연결하는 전원연결부;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
바람직하게는, 상기 소정의 각도가 예각인 경우, 상기 일루미네이터로부터 조사되는 상기 빛이 상기 일루미네이터의 전방을 비추는 것을 특징으로 한다.
바람직하게는, 상기 소정의 각도가 둔각인 경우, 상기 일루미네이터로부터 조사되는 빛이 상기 차퍼에 의해 굴절되어 상기 차퍼의 주변을 비추는 것을 특징으로 한다.
상기한 바와 같은 본 발명은 안구 내부에서 빛을 조사하여 시인성을 향상시킴과 동시에 차퍼를 통하여 수정체 핵을 작은 조각으로 분리하는 시술이 가능한 효과가 있다.

본 발명의 일루미네이션 차퍼를 이루는 구성요소들은 필요에 따라 일체형으로 사용되거나 각각 분리되어 사용될 수 있다. 또한, 사용 형태에 따라 일부 구성요소를 생략하여 사용 가능하다.
본 발명에 따른 일루미네이션 차퍼(100)의 바람직한 실시 예를 도 1 내지 도 4를 참조하여 설명한다. 이 과정에서 도면에 도시된 선들의 두께나 구성요소의 크기 등은 설명의 명료성과 편의상 과장되게 도시되어 있을 수 있다. 또한, 후술되는 용어들은 본 발명에서의 기능을 고려하여 정의된 용어들로서 이는 사용자, 운용자의 의도 또는 관례에 따라 달라질 수 있다. 그러므로 이러한 용어들에 대한 정의는 본 명세서 전반에 걸친 내용을 토대로 기술되어야 할 것이다.
<제 1 실시예>
이하, 도 1 및 도 2를 참조하여 본 발명의 제 1 실시예에 따른 일루미네이션 차퍼(100)를 설명하면 다음과 같다.
본 발명의 제 1 실시예에 따른 일루미네이션 차퍼(100)는 빛을 조사하는 일루미네이터(110), 일루미네이터(110)의 일단에 장착되어 일루미네이터(110)와 소정의 각도를 이루는 차퍼(120), 일루미네이터(110)를 둘러싸는 그립부(130), 일루미네이터(110)와 전기적으로 연결되는 전원공급부(140), 및 일루미네이터(110)와 전원공급부(140)를 전기적으로 연결하는 전원연결부(150)를 포함한다.
일루미네이터(110)는 바디(111), 바디홀(112), 및 광파이버(113)를 포함한다.
바디(111)는 일반적으로 백내장의 시술에 사용되는 도구의 일종으로서, 중공의 관의 형태를 지니고 있다. 이러한 바디(111)는 빛을 통과시키는 바디홀(112)을 포함하며, 바디(111)의 내부에는 외부로 빛을 조사하기 위한 다수의 광파이버(113)가 위치하게 된다.
바디홀(112)은 바디(111) 내측에 위치하는 구멍으로서, 이러한 바디홀(112)에는 다수의 광파이버(113)가 위치한다.
광파이버(113)는 바디(111)의 내부에 위치하고, 바디(111)의 일단을 향하여 빛을 조사하게 된다.
차퍼(120)는 일루미네이터(110)의 일단에 장착되어 일루미네이터(110)와 소정의 각도를 이루도록 배치된다.
더욱 상세하게는, 차퍼(120)는 도 1에 도시된 바와 같이 광파이버(113)에서 조사되는 빛을 가리지 않도록 배치될 수 있다.
즉, 제 1 실시예에서는 소정의 각도가 예각이며, 일루미네이터(110)로부터 조사되는 빛이 일루미네이터(110)의 전방을 비추게 된다.
상기한 결합구조는 시술자가 일루미네이터(110)를 이용하여 안구 내로 빛을 조사하여 시인성을 향상시킴과 동시에 차퍼(120)로 백내장 시술을 할 수 있는 장점이 있다.
그립부(130)는 일루미네이터(110)를 둘러싸도록 형성되며, 탄성재질로 이루어지는 것이 바람직하다. 이러한 그립부(130)는 시술자가 손으로 잡고 백내장 등의 시술을 할 수 있도록 돕는다.
전원공급부(140)는 광파이버(113)로 전원을 공급하기 위한 장치로서, 전원연결부(150)과 전기적으로 연결된다. 이러한 전원공급부(140)는 전원을 공급할 수 있는 수단이라면 어떠한 장치라도 무방하다.
전원연결부(150)는 광파이버(113)와 전원공급부(140) 사이를 전기적으로 연결하는 전선이다.
<제 2 실시예>
이하, 도 3 및 도 4를 참조하여 본 발명의 제 2 실시예에 따른 일루미네이션 차퍼(100')를 설명하되, 차퍼(120')를 제외한 모든 구성요소가 동일하므로 제 2 실시예를 참고하기로 한다.
본 발명의 제 2 실시예에 따른 일루미네이션 차퍼(100')는 빛을 조사하는 일루미네이터(110'), 일루미네이터(110')의 일단에 장착되어 일루미네이터(110')와 소정의 각도를 이루는 차퍼(120'), 일루미네이터(110')를 둘러싸는 그립부(130'), 일루미네이터(110')와 전기적으로 연결되는 전원공급부(140'), 및 일루미네이터(110')와 전원공급부(140')를 전기적으로 연결하는 전원연결부(150')를 포함한다.
차퍼(120')는 일루미네이터(110')의 일단에 장착되어 일루미네이터(110')와 소정의 각도를 이루도록 배치된다.
즉, 제 2 실시예에서는 상기 소정의 각도가 둔각이며, 일루미네이터(110')로부터 조사되는 빛이 차퍼(120')에 의해 굴절되어 차퍼(120')의 주변을 비추게 된다.
더욱 상세하게는, 차퍼(120')는 도 3에 도시된 바와 같이 광파이버(113')에서 조사되는 빛이 차퍼(120')에 의해 굴절되어 차퍼(120') 주변의 시야를 확보하게 된다.
상기한 결합구조는 시술자가 일루미네이터(110')를 이용하여 안구 내로 빛을 조사하여 시인성을 향상시킴과 동시에 차퍼(120')로 백내장 시술을 할 수 있는 장점이 있다.
여기서, 제 1 실시예와 제 2 실시예에서의 차퍼(120, 120')는 일루미네이터(110, 110')와의 결합관계에 있어서 다소 간의 차이를 보이는데, 이러한 구조는 시술자가 백내장 시술시 편의를 제공하기 위해 가변적으로 조정하여 고정함으로써 사용할 수 있음은 물론이다.
상기에서는 본 발명의 바람직한 실시 예를 참조하여 설명하였지만, 당업계에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자라면 이하의 특허 청구범위에 기재된 본 발명의 사상 및 영역을 벗어나지 않는 범위 내에서 본 발명을 다양하게 수정 및 변경시킬 수 있음을 이해할 수 있을 것이다.
