Description

Decoration method and articles decorated by the method
The present invention relates to a decoration method for decorating the surface of an article such as a glass product and the article decorated by the method.
For a long time, for example, as a method of decorating the surface of an article such as a glass product, a method of applying transfer paper to the surface of a glass product or the like, a method of applying a pattern to the surface of a glass product or the like, etc. are well known. Yes. Further, a method has been proposed in which lacquer is applied to the surface of a glass product, and after drying, the lacquer is scraped off by sandblasting to form a satin pattern on the sandblasted glass surface (Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2009-283151). ).
However, the conventional method of attaching transfer paper to the surface of a glass product or the like has a limited pattern for decoration, and a pattern desired by the user cannot be applied to the article. Moreover, although the method by etching and the method of applying lacquer can give a desired pattern, these methods are not intended to be performed by anyone, and there is a problem that the processing is difficult for an amateur.
The present invention has been made on the basis of the above circumstances, and provides a decoration method that enables even an amateur to easily decorate the surface of an article such as a glass product with a desired pattern, and a product decorated by the method. It is intended to do.
The decoration method according to the present invention for achieving the above object is a decoration method for decorating the surface of an article, the first step of applying a transparent ultraviolet curable adhesive to the surface of the article, and the first step A decorative material is applied by applying a UV curable adhesive on the decorative material arranged in the second step, and a second step of arranging a flat or granular decorative material on the ultraviolet curable adhesive applied in step 2. It comprises a third step of sealing with an ultraviolet curable adhesive and a fourth step of irradiating the ultraviolet curable adhesive with ultraviolet rays to cure the ultraviolet curable adhesive.
In the decoration method of the present invention, a transparent ultraviolet curable adhesive is applied to the surface of an article, and then a planar or granular decoration material is placed on the surface of the article to which the ultraviolet curable adhesive is applied, and then the decoration is applied. Apply UV curable adhesive on the material, and then irradiate the UV curable adhesive with UV light to cure the UV coin adhesive, so that the decorative material is attached to the surface of the article with UV coin adhesive and sealed. Therefore, the decoration desired by the user can be easily applied to the surface of the article.
In the decoration method of the present invention, the article is a glass product, and it is desirable to decorate the bottom surface of the glass product. Thereby, the decoration which a user desires can be easily given to the glass product compared with the case where decoration is given to the side surface which is often formed with a curved surface. Further, by decorating the bottom surface, the desired decoration can be applied without deteriorating the design of the entire glass product as compared to decorating any other surface.
Furthermore, in the decoration method of the present invention, it is desirable to use cloth as a decoration material. By using a cloth such as a strip of cloth on the bottom of an article such as a wine glass, even an amateur can easily apply a traditional Japanese cloth pattern as a decoration to a wine glass that is a Western tableware.
In the decoration method of the present invention, a transparent UV curable adhesive is applied to the surface of the article, and then a planar or granular decoration material is disposed on the surface of the article to which the UV curable adhesive is applied, and then The surface of the article is decorated by applying an ultraviolet curable adhesive on the decorative material and then irradiating the ultraviolet curable adhesive with ultraviolet rays to cure the ultraviolet coin adhesive. The desired decoration can be easily applied.

Hereinafter, the best mode for carrying out the invention according to the present application will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a schematic perspective view of a wine glass decorated using a decoration method according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a schematic enlarged cross-sectional view of the bottom of the wine glass. FIG. 3 is a schematic plan view of a cloth which is a decorative material used for the decoration of the wine glass.
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the wine glass 10 of the present embodiment includes a transparent glass wine glass body 11, a cloth 20 attached to the bottom 11a of the wine glass body 11, and a cloth on the bottom 11a. And an ultraviolet curing adhesive 30 for attaching 20.
As the wine glass body 11 of the wine glass 10 used in the present embodiment, a commercially available glass wine glass can be used. As shown in FIG. 2, the wine glass 10 of the present embodiment has a bottom surface of the bottom portion 11 a formed in a concave shape. Therefore, when the wineglass body of this embodiment is placed on a table or the like, only the edge of the bottom surface of the wineglass body 11 of this embodiment is in contact with the table, and a narrow space is formed between the bottom surface and the surface of the table. it can. In this embodiment, this narrow space is used to decorate the space. In FIG. 2, the thickness of the cloth 20 and the ultraviolet curable adhesive 30 is drawn thicker than the actual thickness in order to make the drawing easy to understand. Therefore, in FIG. 2, it seems that the ultraviolet curable adhesive 30 protrudes from this space. However, since the thickness of the cloth 20 and the ultraviolet curable adhesive 30 is actually thin, the ultraviolet curable adhesive 30 is also the same. It is in the space. Further, in the present embodiment, the wine glass body 11 having the bottom surface formed in a concave shape is used as described above, but the present invention is not limited to this, and the bottom surface is formed in a planar shape. It may be a thing. In addition, the surface to be decorated is not limited to the bottom surface, and if it is the surface of the wine glass body, for example, the bottom surface, the side surface of the cup for putting wine, the surface of the stem that is a part held by the hand, etc. Also good.
In addition, the cloth 20 as a decorative material of the present embodiment is made from an end cut cloth of a band that becomes a base cloth. A circular cloth 20 to be attached to the bottom surface 11a of the wine glass 10 of the present embodiment is made from the cut end cloth as shown in FIG. In the present embodiment, the cloth 20 is formed by cutting a circular shape using a ring-shaped punching die with respect to the cut end fabric 2 shown in FIG. Thus, by forming the cloth 20 by die cutting, it is possible to form the circular cloth 20 from the base cloth without fraying the ends. In addition, the cloth 20 of the present embodiment is formed in a circular shape that is slightly smaller than the outer shape of the bottom surface of the wineglass body 11. In addition, depending on the material of the base fabric used, an edge may be frayed also by the die-cutting method. In this case, fraying at the time of die-cutting can be prevented by applying the anti-fraying liquid to the cut portion of the base fabric and then performing die-cutting.
Further, it is desirable that the ultraviolet curable adhesive 30 is not only strong in adhesive force but also resistant to water, heat, and high transparency. In this embodiment, a commercially available UV curable adhesive AZ-4 for jewelry manufactured by Sea Force Co., Ltd. is used as the UV curable adhesive. Since the ultraviolet curable adhesive 30 has a high viscosity and is difficult to handle, a predetermined solvent is added to lower the viscosity. By attaching and sealing a decorative material using the adhesive of the present embodiment, the wine glass 10 having the decoration of the present embodiment can be washed with water. Further, since it is resistant to heat, the wine glass 10 with the decoration of the present embodiment can be washed using a dishwasher using hot water of 50 to 60 degrees. Furthermore, since the wine glass of this embodiment is sealed by attaching a cloth using an adhesive having a high transparency, it appears that the cloth is contained inside the glass. Such a decoration is not possible in practice. This is because if the cloth is to be contained inside the glass of the wine glass, the cloth is burned by heat because the glass processing process is high temperature. In addition, when a general adhesive is hardened and scraped with a file or the like, the transparency often decreases. On the other hand, the ultraviolet curable adhesive used in this embodiment has a characteristic that the transparency does not change even if it is cured by irradiating ultraviolet rays and then scraped with a paper file or the like.
The wine glass 10 of the present embodiment is decorated on the bottom surface as follows. First, the cloth 20 previously formed into a circular shape by die cutting is immersed in an ultraviolet curable adhesive. At this time, if the above-mentioned ultraviolet curable adhesive that is commercially available is used as it is, the viscosity is high, so that it is difficult for the adhesive to penetrate into the cloth 20 and it takes time to penetrate. On the other hand, in this embodiment, since the viscosity is lowered by diluting a commercially available ultraviolet curable adhesive with a predetermined solvent, the ultraviolet curable adhesive can be easily penetrated into the cloth 20 in a short time. Next, the wine glass main body 11 is turned upside down, and the ultraviolet curable adhesive 30 is applied to the bottom surface with the bottom portion 11a facing upward. Next, the cloth 20 immersed in the ultraviolet curable adhesive is placed on the bottom surface to which the ultraviolet curable adhesive is applied. At this time, care is taken so that air does not enter between the bottom surface and the cloth 20. This is because if air enters and bubbles are formed, not only the appearance will deteriorate but also the quality and durability will deteriorate. Next, an ultraviolet curable adhesive is applied on the cloth 20. Next, the ultraviolet-curing adhesive is cured by irradiating the ultraviolet-curing adhesive with ultraviolet light using a black light. Finally, an excess portion of the cured UV curable adhesive, for example, an edge of the bottom surface of the wine glass or a convex portion is scraped with a paper file or the like. At this time, if the UV curable adhesive protrudes below the edge of the bottom surface, the wine glass 10 of the present embodiment will rattle when placed on a table or the like. Finish so as not to occur. By these operations, a wine glass 10 with a decorated bottom surface can be produced. In the present embodiment, the case where the excess UV curable adhesive is removed after the UV curable adhesive is cured has been described. However, when there is no excess UV curable adhesive, this shaving operation (step) is omitted. Can do. Further, in this embodiment, the UV curable adhesive is used with its viscosity lowered. However, in the case of a decorative material having a good penetrability of this adhesive or a decorative material that does not penetrate in the first place, before the concentration is reduced. The original UV curable adhesive may be used as it is. Furthermore, in the present embodiment, the case where the cloth is preliminarily immersed in the ultraviolet curable adhesive has been described. However, in the case of a cloth that easily penetrates the liquid, this immersion operation (step) can be omitted.
In this embodiment, an ultraviolet curable adhesive is applied to the bottom surface of the bottom of the wine glass body, and then a cloth 20 dipped in a transparent ultraviolet curable adhesive is disposed on the bottom surface to which the ultraviolet curable adhesive is applied, Next, apply UV curable adhesive on the decorative material, then irradiate the UV curable adhesive with UV light from black light to cure the UV coin adhesive, and finally remove the excess part of the UV curable adhesive. Since the bottom surface of the wine glass body is decorated by scraping with a paper file or the like, the desired decoration can be easily applied to the wine glass using a cloth having a pattern desired by the user. Therefore, according to the wine glass of the present embodiment, a general user who does not have a skilled technique, for example, a piece of cloth of his favorite clothes, a piece of cloth of a wedding dress worn at the wedding, You can decorate the wineglass with a cloth of your choice, such as a piece of strip worn by Yao-san, or a piece of clothing worn by the child during the celebration of Shichigosan. Can be preserved as a memorial for a long time, or wine glasses decorated with these cloths can be displayed as ornaments.
Further, in this embodiment, a traditional Japanese pattern is drawn on the band by using a strip of cloth as a decoration material. It can be easily decorated as a decorative wine glass.
Further, in the wine glass of the present embodiment, the cloth 20 is pasted and sealed on the bottom surface formed in a concave shape, so that the wine glass can be decorated without harming the usability of the wine glass. For example, when a wine glass is placed on a table, the wine glass does not rattle. In addition, since the wine glass of the present embodiment is decorated on the bottom surface, it is possible to give a modest decoration that does not self-assert rather than decorating any other surface, and therefore wine. New decorations can be applied without compromising the overall design of the glass.
Further, in the wine glass of the present embodiment, the cloth is sealed with an infrared curing adhesive having a high transparency, so that the wine glass of the present embodiment looks like the cloth is enclosed inside the glass, and thus the conventional wine glass is used. Has unique actions and effects.
Also, if the cloth is simply affixed to the surface of the wine glass with an adhesive, the cloth affixed immediately will peel off or become wet and deformed. On the other hand, in the wine glass of this embodiment, the cloth is sealed inside the adhesive using an infrared curing adhesive, so that the wine glass of this embodiment can be washed with water and dishwashed. It can also be washed using hot water of 50-60 degrees.
