Abstract

The invention relates to a masonry structure (11) made of brick bodies (12). The brick bodies (12) are placed on top of one another in at least two layers (106, 108), and the at least two layers (106, 108) are placed on top of one another without an adhesive, at least one metal insert (107) being introduced between each of the at least two layers (106, 108). The invention further relates to a use of such a masonry structure, to a heat storage tank system, and to a method for producing such a masonry structure.
