RELATED APPLICATION
[0001 ] This application claims priority to Chinese Patent Application No.
201320269797.6, filed May 17, 2013, the contents of which are fully incorporated by reference herein.
BACKGROUND
[0002] This utility model is a pre-cut printable adhesive sheet film, or sticker capable of pasting repeatedly or removably adhering repeatedly.
[0003] Due to thickness, it is difficult to print designs or patterns directly on a common adhesive sheet or film capable of pasting or adhering repeatedly. Common adhesive sheets or films capable of pasting repeatedly are easily hardened and broken after a period of time. Foreign or domestic customers often send printed materials with required patterns to a manufacturer of adhesive sheets capable of pasting repeatedly and the manufacturer may attach the printed materials to the adhesive sheets. However, attaching printed materials to adhesive sheets generates air bubbles in between after attachment which results in defective products. The aforementioned process also increases costs of transport and manpower to deliver accepted products after quality inspection to foreign or domestic customers who often receive finished products after several weeks or even a month.
SUMMARY
[0004] The utility model aims to provide a pre-cut printable adhesive sheet or film capable of pasting repeatedly. The sheet or film comprises a reduced total thickness such that a desired pattern can be directly printed on it by means of printing equipment to ensure convenience and time savings.
[0005] Another objective is to provide a pre-cut printable adhesive sheet capable of pasting repeatedly, by which, users can directly and safely tear adhesive sheet body or film body with patterns away without the use of scissors or cutting tools, and after its release the plastic film can be removed away. The adhesive sheet can then be affixed to the wall or similar in any position repeatedly for an unlimited number of applications through its elastic adhesive layer. Thus, it is not necessary to use a photo frame whereby its practical value can be enhanced.
[0006] Another objective is to provide a pre-cut printable adhesive sheet capable of pasting repeatedly, including several holes on the release plastic film of the adhesive sheet body to prevent air accumulation to ensure smoother printing operation and print quality.
[0007] Another objective is to provide a pre-cut printable adhesive sheet capable of pasting repeatedly, which can reduce costs for transport, warehouse, labor and man- hours significantly.
[0008] Another objective is to provide a pre-cut printable adhesive sheet capable of pasting repeatedly, which can not only reduce defective products during manufacture, but also improve quality of finished products and yield.
[0009] The pre-cut printable adhesive sheet capable of pasting repeatedly can include: one carrier sheet, which comprises a paper layer; an acrylic adhesive layer capable of pasting repeatedly; and, an elastic plastic sheet layer. The adhesive sheet body comprises a PVA-Polyvinyl Acetic Acid or PVOH-Polyvinyl Alcohol layer, a liner sheet layer, an elastic adhesive layer, and a release plastic film. The sheet body can be placed into the hollow groove or space in the paper layer of the corresponding carrier sheet. The release plastic film on a back surface or face can be affixed to a corresponding part on the front surface of the acrylic adhesive layer and is capable of pasting repeatedly on the carrier sheet. The PVA layer or PVOH layer, on its back surface or face, can be bonded to the front surface of the liner sheet layer which can be plastic film or paper. The liner sheet layer on its back surface or face can be bonded to the front surface of the elastic adhesive layer. The elastic adhesive layer can be coated or sprayed on the liner sheet layer with a solution mixture of elastic adhesive solute and toluene solvent. The release plastic film, on its front surface, can be bonded to the back surface of the elastic adhesive layer. There can be several holes passing through the release plastic film.
[0010] The elastic adhesive layer can be placed on the back surface or face of the liner sheet layer and then can be baked in an oven from 170°C to about 220°C to form the elastic adhesive layer of the body which can be bonded to the back surface or face of the liner sheet layer.
[0011 ] The depth of hollow grooves or space on the paper layer of the carrier sheet can be less than or equal to total thickness of the film body. The total thickness of the film body can be from about 0.2mm to about 0.5mm. The total thickness of the carrier sheet can be from about 0.6mm to about 0.8mm.
[0012] The practical effects of the aforementioned include a total thickness of the composition that is thin enough such that a desired pattern can be directly printed on its surface by means of printing equipment to ensure convenience and time savings.
[0013] Users can directly tear the patterns away from the adhesive sheet body without the use of scissors or cutting tools. After the patterns are released, the plastic film can be removed away. The adhesive sheets can be affixed to the wall or similar repeatedly for an unlimited number of applications via the elastic adhesive layer. Hence it is not necessary to use photo frames and the practical effects are enhanced.
[0014] There can be several holes passing through the release plastic film layer of the adhesive sheet body to prevent air accumulation and to ensure smoother printing operation and print quality.
[0015] The aforementioned methods and device can significantly reduce costs associated with transportation, warehousing, and labor hours. The methods described herein can reduce defective products in order to improve the quality of finished products and yield. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
