As shown in FIGS.1 and 2, a window 100 with detachably mounted insulation reinforcing members according to the present invention includes a window frame 110 having a plurality of rails 111 disposed thereon, window sashes 120 slidingly coupled to the rails 111 in such a manner as to be open and closed, and the insulation reinforcing members 130 selectively fitted to the exposed rails 111 if the window sashes 120 are closed so as to fill the gap between the window frame 110 and the window sashes 120, thus improving the insulation and airtightness performance.
Hereinafter, an explanation on the configuration of the window 100 with the detachably mounted insulation reinforcing members according to the present invention will be in more detail given.
First, the window frame 110 constitutes a main outer frame of the window 100 and has the plurality of rails 111 formed to face each other on the top and bottom sides of the inner surface thereof. Further, the window frame 110 has jambs 113 formed on the left and right side surfaces thereof so as to be correspondingly coupled to side recesses 120a formed on one side portions of the window sashes 120 when the window sashes 120 are closed. The configuration of the window frame 110 according to the present invention is the same as that in the well-known technology, and for the brevity of the description, therefore, the configuration of the window frame 110 will be not explained anymore.
The window sashes 120 are formed of at least one pair of left and right window sashes. In this case, desirably, one side window sash 120 has a configuration of double window sashes 121 and the other side window sash 120 has a configuration of a single window sash 123 slidingly open and closed in such a manner as to be interposed between the double window sashes 121.
That is, if the window sashes 120 have a configuration of double window sashes 120 wherein one pair of indoor side window sashes and one pair of outdoor side window sashes are provided, given airtightness and insulation performance can be obtained, but in this case, the manufacturing cost is undesirably increased. Accordingly, at least one side is formed in the configuration of the double window sashes 121 and the other side is formed in the configuration of the single window sash 123 interposed slidingly between the double window sashes 121.
Of course, the present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned configuration of the window sashes 120, but may be applied to the single window sash as well as the double window sashes. In this case, for example, the window sashes 120 having the double window sashes 121 and the single window sash 123 will be adopted in the present invention.
On the other hand, the window sashes 120 have mohair 125 formed to face each other on the inner surface of the side recess 120a formed on one side thereof in such a manner as to interpose the jamb 113 therebetween when the window sashes 120 are closed, thus maintaining the airtightness between the jamb 113 and the side recess 120a. Moreover, mohair is provided on the facing surfaces of the window sash profiles laid on each other when the window sashes 120 are closed so as to fill the gap between the window sashes.
As shown in FIG.3, the insulation reinforcing members 130 are selectively fitted to the rails 111, and particularly, they can be generally used in a winter season wherein insulation and airtightness performance is needed. In this case, desirably, each insulation reinforcing member 130 has a cover profile 131 having a rail groove 131a formed on one surface thereof in such a manner as to be fittingly coupled to each rail 111 and mohair 133 fixedly formed to a coupling groove 133a formed on one side of the cover profile 131 in the longitudinal direction thereof in such a manner as to come into surface contact with one side surface of each window sash 120.
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 4, the insulation reinforcing members 130 are fittedly coupled to the rails 111 formed on the top and bottom sides of the inner surface of the window frame 110 and the jambs 113 formed on one side of the window frame 110 (see FIG.2), respectively. If the insulation reinforcing members 130 are fittedly coupled to the rails 111 and the jambs 113, respectively, the window sashes 120 disposed on the same rails 111 are not open and closed. That is, one side double window sashes 121 are not open and closed, but the other side single window sash 123 is open and closed.
In addition to the rails 111, as shown in FIG.5, the insulation reinforcing member 130 is fittedly coupled to one side of the window sash profiles laid on each other when the window sashes 120 are closed, so as to fill the gap between the double window sashes 121 and the single window sash 123.
In this case, desirably, the insulation reinforcing member 130 has a cover profile 135 having a fitting groove 135a formed on one surface thereof in such a manner as to be fittingly coupled to one side of the profile where the window sashes 120 are laid on each other and mohair 137 fixedly formed to coupling grooves 137a formed on the side surfaces of the cover profile 135 in the longitudinal direction thereof in such a manner as to come into surface contact with the facing surfaces of the window sashes 120 laid on each other.
So as to enable the insulation reinforcing member 130 to be rigidly coupled to the window sashes 120, in this case, the cover profile 135 has a coupling protrusion 135b formed in the fitting groove 135a in such a manner as to be elastically coupled to a mohair installation coupling groove 120b formed in the side recess 120a of each window sash 120.
As mentioned above, the window 100 according to the present invention is provided with the detachably mounted insulation reinforcing members 130 that are selectively mounted indoors or outdoors on the window having the combination configuration of a double window and a single window and the configuration of a single window, thus improving the insulation and airtightness performance in a winter season, especially.
While the present invention has been described with reference to the particular illustrative embodiments, it is not to be restricted by the embodiments but only by the appended claims. It is to be appreciated that those skilled in the art can change or modify the embodiments without departing from the scope and spirit of the present invention.
