Abstract

Polipéptido mutado, cepas que lo comprende y métodos para detectar cationes metálicos, por ejemplo Au, Cu, Ag, Hg, Pb, Cd, Co y Zn, en muestras de manera simultánea, en donde el polipéptido comprende una sustitución de serina por cisteína en la posición 77 de la SEQ ID N° 1 o SEQ ID N° 2; y en donde dicha proteína tiene actividad de regulador transcripcional, por ejemplo GolS o CueR. El polipéptido detecta los metales como cationes metálicos monovalentes y divalentes.
