Abstract
La présente invention porte sur un système d'annulation de bruit et un procédé pour écouteur sur l'oreille. Le système et le procédé fournissent un microphone configuré pour détecter un premier signal acoustique généré par une source externe à l'écouteur et pour produire un premier signal électrique correspondant au premier signal acoustique, le premier signal électrique ayant une amplitude, une fréquence et une phase représentatives du premier signal acoustique. Un actionneur en polymère électroactif est électriquement couplé au microphone et configuré pour recevoir un second signal électrique ayant une amplitude et une fréquence sensiblement égales à l'amplitude et à la fréquence du premier signal électrique et une phase qui est hors de phase à 180 degrés avec le premier signal électrique. L'actionneur en polymère électroactif est configuré pour se déplacer en réponse au second signal électrique et produire un second signal acoustique ayant une amplitude et une fréquence sensiblement égales au premier signal acoustique et une phase qui est hors de phase à environ 180 degrés avec le premier signal acoustique.
