Abstract
This invention relates to toys (10, 20, 30, 40). In particular, although not exclusively, this invention relates to toys such as dolls (10, 20, 30) that interact with each other. One aspect of this invention relates to an authoring tool for creating themed data for toys, comprising means (2000) for receiving content in the form of a scripted dialogue relating to a particular theme; means for processing said content to generate a set of instructions for operating said toy within said particular theme; and means for outputting said set of instructions. This invention also relates to an H-bridge circuit arrangement (920), which is particularly applicable, but by no means limited, for use in amplifiers for battery-powered devices, for which polarity protection is desired. The invention also relates to detecting (960, 980) potentially corrupt or otherwise invalid signals. The signals are signals such as audio signals. This invention also relates to an audio coding scheme (1000, 1040).
