Panel mount connector misinsertion prevention structure
The present invention prevents erroneous insertion between a plurality of panel mount connectors (plugs and / or jacks) which are attached to a connector mounting hole of a panel forming a casing in a photovoltaic power generation apparatus or the like installed outdoors while maintaining watertightness. Concerning structure.
Conventionally, as shown in FIGS. 10A and 10B, a panel mounting method for plugs and jacks in a panel mount connector is the same as the panel fixing method in the coaxial contact 21 and the round contact 22 of the round panel mounting connector. A one-touch type locking method using a retractable locking piece 23 fitted in the annular concave grooves 21a, 22a is known so that the contact does not come out after the contact is mounted in the hole. As shown in FIG. 10C, the locking piece 23 has an annular shape with a part cut away, and has a tapered portion 23 a in which the outer diameter on the distal end side in the insertion direction is gradually narrowed.
A conventional panel mount connector (plug or jack) is inserted into a round mounting hole formed in a flat panel and is prevented from being detached by the locking piece. Although a stop piece is provided, a plurality of connector plugs and connector jacks are usually attached to the panel in many cases. However, since measures for preventing erroneous insertion between the plurality of panel mount connectors are not taken, in the connector mounting process, plugs or jacks in the panel mount connector, and other mounting positions in different connectors such as different connectors, etc. There is a risk of mistakes. The structure for preventing erroneous insertion of a panel mount connector according to the present invention has been proposed in order to solve such a problem.
The structure for preventing erroneous insertion of a panel mount connector according to the present invention is a structure for preventing erroneous insertion between connectors when a plurality of panel mount connectors are respectively attached to a plurality of mounting holes formed in a flat panel. Each panel mount connector includes a concave groove formed on the outer peripheral surface on the side facing each mounting hole, and an elastic locking piece fitted into the concave groove, and the elastic locking piece is retained. An annular body part, a notch part formed in a part of the annular body part, and a projection part formed at an end part of the notch part, and an outer peripheral surface on the mounting hole side of each panel mount connector On the tip side, there is a stepped part that protrudes upward so as to prevent the protruding part of the locking piece from coming off, and a passage groove for passing the stepped part is formed in the mounting hole. Can be installed in the mounting hole The step portion of the mount connector and the step portion of the other panel mount connector are formed so as to have different shapes and sizes, and the passage groove in the attachment hole for one panel mount connector and the attachment hole for the other panel mount connector The passage groove has a shape and a size different from each other to prevent erroneous insertion between the two connectors.
A concave notch slit or protrusion is formed in the step of the other panel mount connector, and a complementary protrusion that allows the notch slit or protrusion to pass through the passage groove of the corresponding mounting hole. Or while a groove | channel is formed, it is preferable that this protrusion or groove | channel is formed in the range which does not disturb the contraction effect | action when the protrusion part of this latching piece passes an attachment hole.
In addition, when the plurality of panel mount connectors are different types of connector plugs or connector jacks, the peripheral portions are separated from the step portion for the locking piece and the passage groove for the step portion. It is preferable that a further protrusion is formed at a position away from the direction, and a groove through which the protrusion can pass is formed in the corresponding mounting hole.
According to the structure for preventing erroneous insertion of the panel mount connector of the present invention, the shape and size of the passage groove in the attachment hole for one panel mount connector and the passage groove of the attachment hole for the other panel mount connector are different. By forming it, the connector plug and connector jack in the panel mount connector can be mistaken to prevent work mistakes such as attaching to the panel in advance, and at the time of insertion of the retaining piece of the retaining piece for retaining Since the erroneous insertion preventing structure is provided in a range that does not disturb the contraction, the erroneous insertion can be prevented while reliably preventing the removal.
In addition, even when the plurality of panel mount connectors are connector plugs of different types or connector jacks, the peripheral portions are separated from the step portion for the locking piece and the passage groove for the step portion. By forming a further protrusion at a position away from the direction and forming a groove through which the protrusion can pass in the corresponding mounting hole, it is possible to prevent a mounting error between connector plugs or connector jacks in advance. It has an excellent effect of becoming.

As shown in FIGS. 1A to 7D, the structure for preventing erroneous insertion of a panel mount connector according to the present invention is provided with each mounting hole in order to prevent the protrusion of the locking piece in the panel mount connector (plug and jack) from coming off. A passage groove that passes through the step formed in the panel is formed in the mounting hole of the panel, and one panel mount connector (plug or jack) has an error within a range that does not interfere with the contraction action when the locking piece passes through the mounting hole. An insertion preventing means is provided.
As shown in FIGS. 1A and 1B, the connector plug 1 in the erroneous insertion prevention structure for the panel mount connector according to the first embodiment of the present invention is a concave groove formed on the outer peripheral surface of the connector plug 1 on the mounting hole side. It has an elastic locking piece 2 composed of an annular main body portion 2d for retaining a connector fitted to 1a and a notch portion 2b formed in a part of the annular main body portion 2d.
As shown in FIG. 2, the locking piece 2 has a main body 2d formed in an annular shape with a notch 2b formed in a part thereof, and has a tapered shape in which the outer diameter on the distal end side in the insertion direction is gradually narrowed. Part 23a. Protruding portions 2c that protrude in the axis a direction from both ends of the main body portion 2d in the direction of the axis a are formed at both ends of the main body 2d that face each other across the notch 2b.
The projecting portions 2c are in a total of four locations facing each other across the notch portion 2b. However, since the purpose is to secure a catch with the mounting hole 3a on the panel 3 side, at least the axis line Since the protrusion 2c only needs to be provided on the rear end side of a, only the rear end side may have two protrusions 2c opposed to each other with the notch 2b interposed therebetween. Further, the protruding portion 2c protrudes in the direction of the axis a beyond the width b of the locking piece 2 within the range where the locking piece 2 is loosely fitted and slidably contacted in the mating groove 1a. This is because an obstacle such as a convex portion cannot be formed on the outer peripheral wall surface of the plate.
As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the panel 3 has an attachment hole 3a for attaching the connector plug 1 and a step portion 3g. A passage groove 3c through which the step portion 1b of the connector plug 1 passes is formed on the upper end side of the convex ring 3b formed by reducing the diameter of the inner opening of the mounting hole 3a. The convex ring 3b functions as a stopper for retaining after the locking piece 2 has been reduced in diameter through the mounting hole 3a and expanded.
Thus, when the connector plug 1 is installed in the mounting hole 3a of the panel 3, the flange portion 1m of the connector plug 1 abuts against the step portion 3g of the panel 3 as shown in FIG. Is prevented from falling off.
On the other hand, as shown in FIGS. 6A and 6B, the connector jack 1g in the structure for preventing erroneous insertion of the panel mount connector is substantially the same as the connector plug 1 described above. The difference is that concave notch slits 1j are formed at two positions on the front end side and the rear end side of the concave groove 1a to be loosely fitted.
The notch slit 1j is formed at the position where the protrusion 2a moves in the circumferential direction when the locking piece 2 is reduced in diameter when passing through the mounting hole 3a in the second step 1k on the side facing the mounting hole. And it is inside the range d (refer FIG. 7A) which shows the narrowest range between both the protrusion parts 2a.
As described above, since the slit 1j is formed inside the range d, it does not interfere with the diameter reduction (contraction) action of the locking piece 2. In this way, the retaining action by the locking piece 2 is ensured, and the erroneous insertion preventing mechanism is also used within the range of the second passage groove 3f for that purpose.
The width of the step 1b of the connector plug 1 and the second step 1k of the connector jack 1g is 1b <1k. Similarly, the size of the gap between the passage groove 3c of the mounting hole 3a and the second passage groove 3f shown in FIG. 7A is 3c <3f. It is comprised so that it cannot insert in the attachment hole 3a for connector plugs shown in FIG.
Further, as shown in FIG. 7A, a protrusion 3d that protrudes inward is formed in the mounting hole 3a on the panel 3 side. The position where the protrusion 3d is formed is the narrowest between the protrusions 2a when the locking piece 2 is reduced in diameter when passing through the mounting hole 3a, as described above, when the protrusion 2a moves in the circumferential direction. It is inside the range d indicating the range.
The notch slit 1j on the front end side passes through the protrusion 3d of the panel 3, and the notch slit 1j on the rear end side fits in the protrusion 3d. The protrusion 3d and the notch slit 1j serve as erroneous insertion prevention means. Thereby, even if the connector plug 1 is inserted into the connector jack mounting hole 3a shown in FIG. 7A, it collides with the protrusion 3d and cannot be inserted.
When the connector plug 1 and the connector jack 1g are respectively attached and fixed to the panel 3, the above-described erroneous insertion preventing means is provided on one connector jack 1g and its mounting hole side, so that a plurality of panel mount connectors can be connected. It is possible to prevent erroneous insertion.
In addition, for example, when a plurality of different types of connector plugs 1 are attached to the attachment hole 3a of the panel 3, as shown in FIG. 8, the position is approximately 90 degrees away from the stepped portion 1b in the circumferential direction. One protrusion 1f is formed. Correspondingly, a groove 3e is also formed in the mounting hole 3a on the panel 3 side as shown in FIG. 5A. By doing so, it is possible to prevent erroneous insertion between different types of connector plugs 1.
Further, when there are a large number of different types of connector plugs 1, the positions where the projections 1 f are formed are changed, and the mounting holes 3 a on the panel 3 side also have grooves 3 e as shown in FIGS. 5B and 5C. It is possible to prevent erroneous insertion of a large number of panel mount connector plugs 1 by changing the position.
Further, in the case of the connector jack 1g, when a large number of different types of jacks 1g are attached to the panel 3, as shown in FIGS. 7B to 7D, various positions at positions separated in the circumferential direction of the mounting holes 3a on the panel 3 side. The groove 3e is formed in the jack 1g, and the protrusion 1f is formed in the jack 1g at a position corresponding to each of the grooves 3e.
In this case, even if a plurality of grooves 3e are formed in one mounting hole 3a and a plurality of protrusions corresponding to the plurality of grooves are formed in a plurality of different types of connector plugs 1 (or jacks 1g), a plurality of Of course, the connector plug 1 (or jack 1g) may be attached without being erroneously inserted, but the panel mount connector plug 1 (or jack 1g) having one protrusion 1f may be attached. Therefore, in order to avoid this problem, it is necessary to form only one groove 3e having a different position in each mounting hole 3a.
In this way, even when a plurality of different types of connector plugs 1 (or jacks 1g) are attached to the panel 3, they are formed so that the positions of the grooves are different so that a plurality of different types of connector plugs ( Moreover, even in the case of jacks), it is configured so as not to be inserted erroneously.
After the connector plug 1 and the connector jack 1g in the structure for preventing erroneous insertion of the panel mount connector according to the present invention are attached to the panel 3, as shown in FIGS. 9A to 9D, the contact 1d is soldered to the printed circuit board 6 in the housing. Then, the wedge 5 having the anti-shrinkage protrusion 5a of the locking piece 2 is covered, and a resin is poured into the watertight structure that can withstand outdoor use.
The panel mount connector misinsertion prevention structure according to the present invention can also be applied when other connectors are attached to the panel.
