L'invention concerne un terminal comportant: une unité de traitement d'écran servant à effectuer un traitement d'allumage d'écran ou d'extinction d'écran sur une région désignée d'une interface d'écran du terminal, et à effectuer un traitement d'extinction d'écran ou d'allumage d'écran sur les autres régions, la région désignée étant une région de l'interface d'écran correspondant à un objet d'affichage désigné dans un contenu d'affichage actuel du terminal, où à une région sélectionnée par un utilisateur sur l'interface d'écran. L'invention concerne également un procédé de commande de rétro-éclairage d'écran. La solution technique de la présente invention est capable de réaliser une commande multi-régions sur le rétro-éclairage d'écran d'un terminal, de réduire la superficie d'une région en état d'allumage d'écran sur un écran et de réduire la consommation d'énergie du terminal.
