The implementation of the invention
The cylinder-piston group for a rotary vane engine operates as follows. The blades 4 divide the internal volumes of each section 13 and 14 of the housing 1 into three chambers, and the angle of the blades is less than 90 °. When the rotor 3 is unwound, the blades 4 begin to fold and unfold, changing the volume of the chambers of sections 13 and 14, which is facilitated by the displacement of the axes of the rotor 3 and the housing 1. In all chambers of the sections 14, the same thermodynamic processes take place. The deviation of the blades 4 in sections 13 and 14 are multidirectional. The compressor section 13 through the inlet valve 18 is in communication with atmospheric air. The blades 4 compress atmospheric air, which is supplied under pressure through self-opening valves 1 1 to the inner cavity of the blades 4 and rotor 3 and is supplied through the self-opening valves 12 to the chamber of the working section 14. When the blades 4 of the working section 14 move to the top dead point, the compressed air arrives , the fuel injector 16 injects fuel and before the approach of the blade 4 to the top dead center the air-fuel mixture is ignited from the spark plug 17. There follows a working stroke, at the end of which an exhaust valve 15 opens in this chamber, through which the exhaust gas leaves the engine and a new cycle begins. When the rotor 3 rotates, the rollers or balls 9 and 10, in contact with the surfaces 7 and 8, rotate on the same axis, but in different directions, providing constant contact of the roller 9 with the surface 7, which prevents the flow of working gases between adjacent chambers. The technological gap made on the surface 7, does not allow the rollers 10 to come into contact with the outer edges of the grooves 8. The cooling of the rotor 3, the blades 4 and the valves 1 1 and 12 mounted on the blades 4 is carried out by atmospheric air passing through them, the housing 1 has air or liquid cooling system.
3. The recesses and protrusions in the rotor 3 and the blade 4 divide the volume of the chamber when folding the blade 4 into two volumes, in one of which a portion of fuel is supplied and more compression is performed than in the other volume of the chamber. The air-fuel mixture is ignited by compression or from the spark plug 17 and with further folding of the blade 4, a channel opens that connects the volumes to each other. Poor and rich air-fuel mixtures are actively mixed, burning with greater completeness. Both volumes have excess pressure, converted by the blade 4 to the torque of the rotor 3.
The presented cylinder-piston group for a rotor-blade device solves several problems:
The increase in efficiency occurs due to an increase in the effective area of the blade 4 during the execution of the stroke, which allows to achieve the effect of continued expansion. The increase in efficiency comes from the side component that occurs when the pressure of the working gases on the blades 4, simultaneously spreading the blades 4, which when interacting with the surface 7 form a side component of this pressure. An increase in mechanical efficiency and a decrease in wear occurs due to a decrease in friction in a pair of body-blade, replaced by rolling. Heat losses in the walls of the housing 1 are reduced, because the combustion chamber is located in the narrow part of the cylindrical housing 1. The larger internal volume of the rolling-seal assemblies 6 as compared to the sealing rings or plates of other rotor-blade devices allows their cooling to be carried out using cutting fluid through cavities and channels constructed in them. Due to the design features of the blade 4, a reduction in the loss of engine operation due to compression of the working gas is achieved. The temperature decrease of the blades 4 and rotor 3, achieved by passing atmospheric or compressed gas through the cavity of the rotor 3 and blades 4, is converted to the pressure of the incoming gas. A more complete combustion of the fuel, affecting the economy and environmental friendliness of the engine containing the claimed cylinder-piston group for the rotor-blade device, occurs due to the optimal ratio of the air-fuel mixture in different volumes and is provided by profiling the geometry of the blades 4, dividing the volume of the engine chambers into several volumes when folding blades 4. The possibility of ignition of the air-fuel mixture from compression in one of the volumes of the engine chamber eliminates the use of electric spark sludge plasma ignition source fuel mixture.
Thanks to the new set of essential features of the proposed solution, the following is achieved:
- увеличение термического КПД;
- увеличение механического КПД и долговечности цилиндро-поршневой группы роторно-лопастного устройства, за счет снижения износа между корпусом 1 и лопастями 4; - increase in thermal efficiency; - an increase in mechanical efficiency and durability of the cylinder-piston group of the rotor-blade device, due to reduced wear between the housing 1 and the blades 4;
- reduction of harmful emissions due to more complete combustion of hydrocarbon fuels and continued expansion.
