Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a card payment system using iris information and a card payment method using iris information. More particularly, the iris information obtained at a payment site in a card payment system including a financial card, a card terminal, and a payment server is provided.
  • the present invention relates to a card payment system and a card payment method configured to authorize payment by authenticating a financial card user.
  • financial cards including credit cards, debit cards, cash cards, smart cards, IC cards, and the like are widely used as payment methods used in place of cash when a card holder purchases certain goods or services.
  • Such a financial card enables the purchase of goods or the like when the balance or the user's credit limit remain in the payment account, or withdraw cash from an ATM.
  • such a financial card currently does not provide a clear user verification method for confirming whether a user who attempts a payment processing using a financial card is an actual owner. For example, a method of visually confirming the signature of the card holder in the signature column of the financial card and handwriting the slip of the purchased item every time the financial card is used is provided. Since such a handwritten signature is simple to steal, it is limited to determine whether the card user is the actual owner only by the handwritten signature.
  • An object of the present invention is to provide a system and method for recognizing the limitations of owner verification by signature as described above, and fully determining whether a user using a financial card is an actual owner using an iris. .
