また、特許文献2には、ポリビニルアセタールに、側鎖にカルボキシル基を有する変性ポリ酢酸ビニルを混合して低温での力学物性を改善する方法が記載されている。
また、特許文献4には、主鎖の構成単位としてエチレンをランダムに有する変性ポリビニルアルコールをアセタール化して得られる変性ポリビニルアセタール樹脂が記載されている。
以下、本発明を詳述する。
なお、ポリビニルアセタール系樹脂組成物が連続相と分散相とからなる構造を有していることは、ポリビニルアセタール系樹脂組成物からなるフィルムを得た後、得られたフィルムをカミソリ刃、ミクロトーム等を用いて切断し、その切断面を、例えば、光学顕微鏡、透過型電子顕微鏡、走査型電子顕微鏡、位相差顕微鏡、偏光顕微鏡、走査型トンネル顕微鏡、顕微ラマン、走査型プローブ顕微鏡等を用いて観察することにより判断することができる。
なお、分散径(直径)は、ポリビニルアセタール系樹脂組成物からなるフィルムを得た後、得られたフィルムをカミソリ刃、ミクロトーム等を用いて切断し、その切断面を、例えば、光学顕微鏡、透過型電子顕微鏡、走査型電子顕微鏡、位相差顕微鏡、偏光顕微鏡、走査型トンネル顕微鏡、顕微ラマン、走査型プローブ顕微鏡等を用いて撮影し、得られた写真を、画像解析装置を用いて解析処理することにより測定することができる。平均分散径(直径)は、任意に選んだ100個の分散相の分散径(直径)の平均値を求めることにより算出することができる。
上記架橋構造を有する樹脂の平均分散径が10μmを超えると、ポリビニルアセタール系樹脂組成物の高温及び低温での機械強度(破断伸び及び破断応力)が低下することがある。一方、上記架橋構造を有する樹脂の平均分散径が0.1μm未満であるポリビニルアセタール系樹脂組成物を作製することは、困難である。上記架橋構造を有する樹脂の平均分散径は、0.1~3μmがより好ましく、0.1~2μmが更に好ましい。
上記架橋構造を有する樹脂に由来する損失正接が極大値を示す温度は、10℃以下であれば特に限定されないが、0℃以下であることがより好ましく、-10℃以下であることが更に好ましい。
引張貯蔵弾性率を上記範囲に調整することにより、ポリビニルアセタール系樹脂組成物を低温から高温に至る幅広い温度範囲でより優れた機械強度を発現するものとすることができる。引張貯蔵弾性率のより好ましい下限は5×107Pa・s、より好ましい上限は2×109Pa・sである。
例えば、上記ポリビニルアセタール樹脂と、上記架橋構造を有する樹脂との合計100重量%中、上記ポリビニルアセタール樹脂の含有量を30~95重量%、上記架橋構造を有する樹脂の含有量を5~70重量%とすることが好ましく、上記ポリビニルアセタール樹脂の含有量を40~85重量%、上記架橋構造を有する樹脂の含有量を15~60重量%とすることがより好ましく、上記ポリビニルアセタール樹脂の含有量を45~60重量%、上記架橋構造を有する樹脂の含有量を40~55重量%とすることが更に好ましい。含有量が上記範囲を外れると、動的粘弾性スペクトルを上記範囲に調整することができず、低温から高温に至る幅広い温度範囲で優れた機械強度を発現させることが困難になることがある。
ポリビニルアルコールのケン化度が80モル%未満であると、ポリビニルアルコールの水への溶解度が低下するためアセタール化が困難になることがある。また、ポリビニルアルコールの水酸基量が少ないためアセタール化反応が進みにくくなることがある。ポリビニルアルコールのケン化度のより好ましい下限は85モル%である。
ポリビニルアルコールのケン化度が99.8モル%を超えると、ポリビニルアルコールを水へ溶解した水溶液の粘度が上がりすぎて、アセタール化が行い難くなる。ポリビニルアルコールのケン化度の上限は99.8モル%であり、好ましい上限は98.5モル%である。
上記アルデヒドは特に限定されず、例えば、ホルムアルデヒド(パラホルムアルデヒドを含む)、アセトアルデヒド(パラアセトアルデヒドを含む)、プロピオンアルデヒド、ブチルアルデヒド、アミルアルデヒド、ヘキシルアルデヒド、ヘプチルアルデヒド、2-エチルヘキシルアルデヒド、シクロヘキシルアルデヒド、フルフラール、グリオキザール、グルタルアルデヒド、ベンズアルデヒド、2-メチルベンズアルデヒド、3-メチルベンズアルデヒド、4-メチルベンズアルデヒド、p-ヒドロキシベンズアルデヒド、m-ヒドロキシベンズアルデヒド、フェニルアセトアルデヒド、β-フェニルプロピオンアルデヒド等が挙げられる。なかでも、生産性、特性バランス等の点で、ホルムアルデヒド(パラホルムアルデヒドを含む)、アセトアルデヒド(パラアセトアルデヒドを含む)、ブチルアルデヒド、シクロヘキシルアルデヒド、ベンズアルデヒドが好ましい。これらのアルデヒドは単独で用いてもよく、2種以上を併用してもよい。
なお、アセタール化度の計算方法については、ポリビニルアセタール樹脂のアセタール基がポリビニルアルコールの2個の水酸基をアセタール化して得られたものであることから、アセタール化された2個の水酸基を数える方法を採用する。
上記水酸基を有する(メタ)アクリル酸エステルモノマーとして、例えば、(メタ)アクリル酸2-ヒドロキシエチル等が挙げられる。
上記イソシアネート基を有する(メタ)アクリル酸エステルモノマーは特に限定されず、例えば、(メタ)アクリル酸2-イソシアナトエチル等が挙げられる。
上記アミノ基を有する(メタ)アクリル酸エステルモノマーは特に限定されず、例えば、(メタ)アクリル酸ジメチルアミノエチル等が挙げられる。
上記アルコキシシラン基を有する(メタ)アクリル酸エステルモノマーは特に限定されず、例えば、(メタ)アクリル酸3-(トリメトキシシリル)プロピル等が挙げられる。
上記ビニル基を有する(メタ)アクリル酸エステルモノマーは特に限定されず、例えば、(メタ)アクリル酸2-(2-ビニロキシエトキシ)エチル等が挙げられる。
まず、架橋処理を行った(メタ)アクリル樹脂サンプルを、テトラヒドロフランに漬けて室温で24時間振蘯浸漬させた後、メッシュを介して、不溶解成分と溶解成分とに分離する。次いで、不溶解成分は、110℃で1時間加熱乾燥させた後、重量を測定する。溶解成分は、加熱乾燥によりテトラヒドロフランを除去した後、重水素化ジメチルスルホキシド(DMSO-d6;D化率99.9%)もしくは重水素化テトラヒドロフラン(THF-d8;D化率99.9%)に1.0重量%の濃度となるように再溶解させ、NMRを用いて組成分析を行う。その後、下記式を用いて(メタ)アクリル樹脂のゲル分率の算出を行い、ゲル分率が0重量%ではないことを確認することによって、架橋構造を有することを確認することができる。
(メタ)アクリル樹脂のゲル分率(重量%)

上記架橋構造を有する(メタ)アクリル樹脂のゲル分率が10重量%未満であると、ポリビニルアセタール系樹脂組成物の高温での破断強度が低下することがある。一方で、ポリビニルアセタールのゲル分率が98重量%を超えると、ポリビニルアセタール系樹脂組成物の低温での伸び率が低下することがある。(メタ)アクリル樹脂のゲル分率のより好ましい下限は30重量%、より好ましい上限は95重量%であり、特に好ましい下限は80重量%、特に好ましい上限は92重量%である。
上記相溶化剤は特に限定されず、例えば、上記ポリビニルアセタール樹脂と上記架橋構造を有する樹脂とのブロックコポリマー又はグラフトコポリマー、イオン的相互作用による相溶化剤(例えば、特定の官能基を有する化合物又はポリマー等)等が挙げられる。特に、相溶化剤が上記ポリビニルアセタール樹脂と上記架橋構造を有する樹脂とのブロックコポリマー又はグラフトコポリマーである場合は、得られるポリビニルアセタール系樹脂組成物の高温及び低温での機械特性をより良好なものとすることができることから、より好ましい。上記相溶化剤の含有量は特に限定されないが、上記ポリビニルアセタール樹脂と、上記架橋構造を有する樹脂との合計100重量部に対して、0~50重量部程度が好ましい。
ブレンド法とは、上記ポリビニルアセタール樹脂と、上記架橋構造を有する樹脂とを別々に準備した後、両者を混合(ブレンド)する方法である。混合方法は特に限定されず、例えば、溶融混練混合、溶解液混合等が挙げられる。二段反応法とは、まず、上記ポリビニルアセタール樹脂を準備し、上記ポリビニルアセタール樹脂の存在下で上記架橋構造を有する樹脂を構成するモノマーの重合を行う方法である。
従って、本発明のポリビニルアセタール系樹脂組成物を製造する方法のなかでも、二段反応法が好ましい。本発明のポリビニルアセタール系樹脂組成物は、上記ポリビニルアセタール樹脂の存在下で、架橋構造を有する(メタ)アクリル樹脂を構成するモノマーの重合を行うことにより得られることが特に好ましい。
なお、グラフト率は、グラフトコポリマー中のポリビニルアセタール樹脂に対する架橋構造を有する樹脂の比率を表し、単離したグラフトポリマーについてNMR測定を行い、ポリビニルアセタール樹脂の重量と架橋構造を有する樹脂の重量とを換算し、下記式を用いて算出することができる。

本発明のポリビニルアセタール系樹脂組成物からなるフィルムは、-20~60℃において引張試験機で測定したときの引張伸度の好ましい下限が150%であり、-20~60℃において引張試験機で測定したときの破断強度の好ましい下限が30N/mm2である。
(ポリビニルアセタール系樹脂組成物からなるフィルムの作製)
温度計、攪拌機、窒素導入管、冷却管を備えた反応容器内に、ポリビニルアセタール樹脂(重合度1700、ブチラール化度67.0モル%、水酸基量32.0モル%、アセチル基量1.0モル%)25重量部と、アクリル酸2-エチルヘキシル20重量部と、架橋を形成させるためのモノマーとしてのメタクリル酸グリシジル3.3重量部及びアクリル酸1.7重量部と、重合溶媒としての酢酸エチル100重量部とを加え、撹拌しながらポリビニルアセタール樹脂を溶解させた。次に、窒素ガスを30分間吹き込んで反応容器内を窒素置換した後、反応容器内を撹拌しながら70℃に加熱した。30分後、0.1重量部の重合開始剤としてのt-ブチルパーオキシ-2-エチルヘキサノエートを5重量部の酢酸エチルで希釈し、得られた重合開始剤溶液を反応容器内に3時間かけて滴下添加した。その後、更に70℃にて3時間反応させた後、反応液を冷却した。得られた溶液を希釈溶剤(メタノールとトルエンとの混合溶剤、メタノールとトルエンとの重量比率は1:2)により希釈し、固形分20重量%の溶液とした。
次に、本溶液を、コーターを用いて乾燥後の厚みが50μmとなるように離型処理したPETフィルム上に塗布し、80℃で1時間乾燥させた後、130℃で10分間加熱して架橋反応を行い、ポリビニルアセタール系樹脂組成物からなるフィルムを得た。得られたフィルムをウルトラミクロトームにより切片化し透過型電子顕微鏡を用いて観察したところ、連続相としてのポリビニルアセタール樹脂中に、分散相として架橋構造を有する(メタ)アクリル樹脂が分散した構造が確認できた。また、透過型電子顕微鏡を用いて撮影した写真について、画像解析装置を用いた解析処理を行い、任意に選んだ100個の分散相の分散径(直径)の平均値を求めることにより、分散相の平均分散径を測定した。結果を表1に示した。
(動的粘弾性測定)
得られたフィルムを熱プレスにより重ね合わせ、厚さ500μmのシートを得た。得られたシートの引張貯蔵弾性率及び引張損失弾性率を、動的粘弾性測定装置(アイティー計測制御社製、DVA-200)により周波数10Hz、昇温速度5℃/分にて測定し、横軸を温度、縦軸を損失正接(tanδ)としてグラフを作成し、損失正接が極大値を示す温度を求めた。
(架橋構造を有する樹脂成分のゲル分率測定)
得られたフィルムをテトラヒドロフランに漬けて室温で24時間振蘯浸漬させた後、メッシュを介して、不溶解成分と溶解成分とに分離した。次いで、不溶解成分を、110℃で1時間加熱乾燥させた後に重量を測定した。溶解成分は、加熱乾燥によりテトラヒドロフランを除去した後、再度、重水素化テトラヒドロフラン(THF-d8;D化率99.9%)に1.0重量%の濃度となるように再溶解させ、NMRを用いて組成分析を行った。その後、下記式を用いて架橋構造を有する樹脂成分のゲル分率の算出した。

得られたフィルムをキシレン及びメタノールで洗浄し、グラフトポリマーを単離した後、NMR(日本電子社製、JNM-ECA400)により測定し、下記式を用いてグラフト率を測定した。得られた結果を表1に示した。

(ポリビニルアセタール系樹脂組成物からなるフィルムの作製)
ポリビニルアルコール(重合度1700、ケン化度99モル%)100重量部及び2-エチルヘキシルアルデヒド120重量部をエタノールとトルエンの混合溶媒(エタノールとトルエンとの重量比率は1:1)1000重量部に加え、更に塩酸を0.1Mの濃度となるように添加した。この溶液を撹拌しながら65℃で3時間保持してアセタール化反応を行った。反応時間終了後、反応液を冷却し、真空乾燥により溶媒を除去し、次いで得られた樹脂をテトラヒドロフランに再溶解させ、水への沈殿を3回行って精製した後に再度充分に乾燥し、2-エチルヘキシルアルデヒドによりアセタール化されたポリビニルアセタール樹脂を得た。
得られたポリビニルアセタール樹脂についてNMRを用いて測定を行ったところ、アセタール化度は60モル%、水酸基量は39モル%、アセチル基量は1モル%であった。
次に、温度計、攪拌機、窒素導入管、冷却管を備えた反応容器内に、得られたポリビニルアセタール樹脂25重量部と、アクリル酸2-エチルヘキシル20重量部と、架橋を形成させるためのモノマーとしてのメタクリル酸グリシジル3.3重量部及びアクリル酸1.7重量部と、重合溶媒としての酢酸エチル100重量部とを加え、撹拌しながらポリビニルアセタール樹脂を溶解させた。次に、窒素ガスを30分間吹き込んで反応容器内を窒素置換した後、反応容器内を撹拌しながら70℃に加熱した。30分後、0.1重量部の重合開始剤としてのt-ブチルパーオキシ-2-エチルヘキサノエートを5重量部の酢酸エチルで希釈し、得られた重合開始剤溶液を反応容器内に3時間かけて滴下添加した。その後、更に70℃にて3時間反応させた後、反応液を冷却した。得られた溶液を希釈溶剤(メタノールとトルエンとの混合溶剤、メタノールとトルエンとの重量比率は1:2)により希釈し、固形分20重量%の溶液とした。

(ポリビニルアセタール系樹脂組成物からなるフィルムの作製)
温度計、攪拌機、窒素導入管、冷却管を備えた反応容器内に、ポリビニルアセタール樹脂(重合度1700、ブチラール化度67.0モル%、水酸基量32.0モル%、アセチル基量1.0モル%)25重量部と、アクリル酸2-エチルヘキシル15重量部と、架橋を形成させるためのモノマーとしてのメタクリル酸グリシジル2重量部及びアクリル酸1重量部と、重合溶媒としての酢酸エチル100重量部とを加え、撹拌しながらポリビニルアセタール樹脂を溶解させた。次に、窒素ガスを30分間吹き込んで反応容器内を窒素置換した後、反応容器内を撹拌しながら70℃に加熱した。30分後、0.1重量部の重合開始剤としてのt-ヘキシルパーオキシピバレートを5重量部の酢酸エチルで希釈し、得られた重合開始剤溶液を反応容器内に3時間かけて滴下添加した。その後、更に70℃にて3時間反応させた後、反応液を冷却した。得られた溶液を希釈溶剤(メタノールとトルエンとの混合溶剤、メタノールとトルエンとの重量比率は1:2)により希釈し、固形分20重量%の溶液とした。
次に、本溶液を、コーターを用いて乾燥後の厚みが50μmとなるように離型処理したPETフィルム上に塗布し、80℃で1時間乾燥させた後、130℃で10分間加熱して架橋反応を行い、ポリビニルアセタール系樹脂組成物からなるフィルムを得た。得られたフィルムをウルトラミクロトームにより切片化し透過型電子顕微鏡を用いて観察したところ、連続相としてのポリビニルアセタール樹脂中に、分散相として架橋構造を有する(メタ)アクリル樹脂が分散した構造が確認できた。分散相の平均分散径を測定し表1に示した。

次に、本溶液を、コーターを用いて乾燥後の厚みが50μmとなるように離型処理したPETフィルム上に塗布し、80℃で1時間乾燥させ、ポリビニルアセタール樹脂単独からなるフィルムを得た。得られたフィルムをウルトラミクロトームにより切片化し透過型電子顕微鏡を用いて観察したところ、連続相と分散相とからなる構造は確認できなかった。
(動的粘弾性測定)
実施例1と同様の操作により動的粘弾性の測定を行った。
(ポリビニルアセタール樹脂からなるフィルムの作製)
ポリビニルアセタール樹脂(重合度1700、ブチラール化度67.0モル%、水酸基量32.0モル%、アセチル基量1.0モル%)25重量部を溶剤(メタノールとトルエンとの混合溶剤、メタノールとトルエンとの重量比率は1:1)により希釈し、固形分20重量%の溶液とした。
次に、本溶液を、コーターを用いて乾燥後の厚みが25μmとなるように離型処理したPETフィルム上に塗布し、常温で1時間風乾させた後、熱風乾燥機で80℃で1時間、次いで、120℃で20分間乾燥させ、ポリビニルアセタール樹脂からなるフィルムを得た。
(架橋構造を有する(メタ)アクリル樹脂からなるフィルムの作製)
温度計、攪拌機、窒素導入管、冷却管を備えた反応容器内に、アクリル酸n-ブチル20重量部と、架橋を形成させるためのモノマーとしてのメタクリル酸グリシジル3.3重量部及びアクリル酸1.7重量部と、重合溶媒としての酢酸エチル100重量部とを加え、窒素ガスを30分間吹き込んで反応容器内を窒素置換した後、反応容器内を撹拌しながら70℃に加熱した。30分後、0.1重量部の重合開始剤としてのt-ブチルパーオキシ-2-エチルヘキサノエートを5重量部の酢酸エチルで希釈し、得られた重合開始剤溶液を反応容器内に3時間かけて滴下添加した。その後、更に70℃にて3時間反応させた後、反応液を冷却した。
得られた溶液を、コーターを用いて乾燥後の厚みが50μmとなるように離型処理したPETフィルム上に塗布し、80℃で1時間乾燥させた後、130℃で10分間加熱して架橋反応を行い、架橋構造を有する(メタ)アクリル樹脂からなるフィルムを得た。
(積層フィルムの作製)
上記で得た架橋構造を有する(メタ)アクリル樹脂からなるフィルムの両面に、上記で得たポリビニルアセタール樹脂からなるフィルムを積層し、層構造を有するフィルムを得た。得られたフィルムをウルトラミクロトームにより切片化し透過型電子顕微鏡を用いて観察したところ、連続相と分散相とからなる構造は確認できなかった。
(動的粘弾性測定)
実施例1と同様の操作により動的粘弾性の測定を行った。
(架橋構造を有する樹脂成分のゲル分率測定)
実施例1と同様の操作により架橋構造を有する樹脂成分のゲル分率の測定を行った。

温度計、攪拌機、窒素導入管、冷却管を備えた反応容器内に、ポリビニルアセタール樹脂(重合度1700、ブチラール化度67.0モル%、水酸基量32.0モル%、アセチル基量1.0モル%)25重量部と、メタクリル酸メチル20重量部と、架橋を形成させるためのモノマーとしてのメタクリル酸グリシジル3.3重量部及びアクリル酸1.7重量部と、重合溶媒としての酢酸エチル100重量部とを加え、撹拌しながらポリビニルアセタール樹脂を溶解させた。次に、窒素ガスを30分間吹き込んで反応容器内を窒素置換した後、反応容器内を撹拌しながら70℃に加熱した。30分後、0.5重量部の重合開始剤としてのt-ブチルパーオキシ-2-エチルヘキサノエートを5重量部の酢酸エチルで希釈し、得られた重合開始剤溶液を反応容器内に3時間かけて滴下添加した。その後、更に70℃にて3時間反応させた後、反応液を冷却した。得られた溶液を希釈溶剤(メタノールとトルエンとの混合溶剤、メタノールとトルエンとの重量比率は1:2)により希釈し、固形分20重量%の溶液とした。

(ポリビニルアセタール系樹脂組成物からなるフィルムの作製)
温度計、攪拌機、窒素導入管、冷却管を備えた反応容器内に、ポリビニルアセタール樹脂(重合度1700、ブチラール化度67.0モル%、水酸基量32.0モル%、アセチル基量1.0モル%)25重量部と、アクリル酸n-ブチル8.7重量部及びアクリル酸シクロヘキシル9.5重量部と、架橋を形成させるためのモノマーとしてのメタクリル酸グリシジル4.5重量部及びアクリル酸2.3重量部と、重合溶媒としての酢酸エチル100重量部とを加え、撹拌しながらポリビニルアセタール樹脂を溶解させた。次に、窒素ガスを30分間吹き込んで反応容器内を窒素置換した後、反応容器内を撹拌しながら70℃に加熱した。30分後、0.1重量部の重合開始剤としてのt-ブチルパーオキシ-2-エチルヘキサノエートを5重量部の酢酸エチルで希釈し、得られた重合開始剤溶液を反応容器内に3時間かけて滴下添加した。その後、更に70℃にて3時間反応させた後、反応液を冷却した。得られた溶液を希釈溶剤(メタノールとトルエンとの混合溶剤、メタノールとトルエンとの重量比率は1:2)により希釈し、固形分20重量%の溶液とした。
次に、本溶液を、コーターを用いて乾燥後の厚みが50μmとなるように離型処理したPETフィルム上に塗布し、80℃で1時間乾燥させた後、130℃で10分間加熱して架橋反応を行い、ポリビニルアセタール系樹脂組成物からなるフィルムを得た。得られたフィルムをウルトラミクロトームにより切片化し透過型電子顕微鏡を用いて観察したところ、連続相としてのポリビニルアセタール樹脂中に、分散相として架橋構造を有する(メタ)アクリル樹脂が分散した構造が確認できた。分散相の平均分散径を測定し表1に示した。
(動的粘弾性測定)
実施例1と同様の操作により動的粘弾性の測定を行った。
(架橋構造を有する樹脂成分のゲル分率測定)
実施例1と同様の操作により架橋構造を有する樹脂成分のゲル分率の測定を行った。
(グラフト率測定)
実施例1と同様の操作によりグラフト率の測定を行った。
ポリビニルアルコール(重合度1700、ケン化度99モル%)100重量部及び2-エチルヘキシルアルデヒド150重量部をエタノールとトルエンの混合溶媒(エタノールとトルエンとの重量比率は1:1)1000重量部に加え、更に塩酸を0.1Mの濃度となるように添加した。この溶液を撹拌しながら65℃で4時間保持してアセタール化反応を行った。反応時間終了後、反応液を冷却し、真空乾燥により溶媒を除去し、次いで得られた樹脂をテトラヒドロフランに再溶解させ、水への沈殿を3回行って精製した後に再度充分に乾燥し、2-エチルヘキシルアルデヒドによりアセタール化されたポリビニルアセタール樹脂を得た。
得られたポリビニルアセタール樹脂についてNMRを用いて測定を行ったところ、アセタール化度は69モル%、水酸基量は30モル%、アセチル基量は1モル%であった。
次に、温度計、攪拌機、窒素導入管、冷却管を備えた反応容器内に、得られたポリビニルアセタール樹脂25重量部と、アクリル酸2-エチルヘキシル20重量部と、架橋を形成させるためのモノマーとしてのメタクリル酸グリシジル0.6重量部及びアクリル酸0.3重量部と、重合溶媒としての酢酸エチル100重量部とを加え、撹拌しながらポリビニルアセタール樹脂を溶解させた。次に、窒素ガスを30分間吹き込んで反応容器内を窒素置換した後、反応容器内を撹拌しながら70℃に加熱した。30分後、0.1重量部の重合開始剤としてのt-ブチルパーオキシ-2-エチルヘキサノエートを5重量部の酢酸エチルで希釈し、得られた重合開始剤溶液を反応容器内に3時間かけて滴下添加した。その後、更に70℃にて3時間反応させた後、反応液を冷却した。得られた溶液を希釈溶剤(メタノールとトルエンとの混合溶剤、メタノールとトルエンとの重量比率は1:2)により希釈し、固形分20重量%の溶液とした。
次に、得られた溶液を、コーターを用いて乾燥後の厚みが50μmとなるように離型処理したPETフィルム上に塗布し、80℃で1時間乾燥させた後、100℃で10分間加熱して架橋反応を行い、ポリビニルアセタール系樹脂組成物からなるフィルムを得た。得られたフィルムをウルトラミクロトームにより切片化し透過型電子顕微鏡を用いて観察したところ、連続相としてのポリビニルアセタール樹脂中に、分散相として架橋構造を有する(メタ)アクリル樹脂が分散した構造が確認できた。分散相の平均分散径を測定し表1に示した。
(動的粘弾性測定)
実施例1と同様の操作により動的粘弾性の測定を行った。
(架橋構造を有する樹脂成分のゲル分率測定)
実施例1と同様の操作により架橋構造を有する樹脂成分のゲル分率の測定を行った。
(グラフト率測定)
実施例1と同様の操作によりグラフト率の測定を行った。
実施例及び比較例で得られたフィルムについて、以下の評価を行った。結果を表1に示した。
(引張貯蔵弾性率評価)
動的粘弾性測定により得られた引張貯蔵弾性率及び損失正接の温度依存性のグラフから、ポリビニルアセタール樹脂に由来する損失正接が極大値を示す温度(A)から架橋構造を有する樹脂に由来する損失正接が極大値を示す温度(B)までの温度範囲における引張貯蔵弾性率の温度変化を確認し、以下の基準で評価した。
〇:引張貯蔵弾性率が1×107~3×109Pa・sである範囲が、(A)から(B)までの温度範囲の80%以上の領域であった。
△:引張貯蔵弾性率が1×107~3×109Pa・sである範囲が、(A)から(B)までの温度範囲の80%未満の領域であった。
×:引張貯蔵弾性率が1×107~3×109Pa・sである範囲が、(A)から(B)までの温度範囲には無かった。
フィルムを離型フィルムから剥離し、5cm×1cmにカットした試料の引張伸度及び破断強度を引張試験機で測定した(速度:100mm/分)。測定温度は、-20℃、0℃、20℃、40℃及び60℃とした。得られた引張伸度及び破断強度について、以下の基準で評価した。
[引張伸度]
○:引張伸度が150%以上。
△:引張伸度が100%以上150%未満。
×:引張伸度が100%未満。
[破断強度]
○:破断強度が30N/mm2以上。
△:破断強度が10N/mm2以上30N/mm2未満。
×:破断強度が10N/mm2未満。
また、60℃における引張伸度に対する-20℃における引張伸度の割合、および、-20℃における破断強度に対する60℃における破断強度の割合を表1に記載した。
Claims (8)
- ポリビニルアセタール樹脂と、架橋構造を有する樹脂とを含有するポリビニルアセタール系樹脂組成物であって、
連続相としての前記ポリビニルアセタール樹脂中に、分散相として前記架橋構造を有する樹脂が分散した構造を有しており、
周波数10Hzで動的粘弾性スペクトルを測定したとき、前記ポリビニルアセタール樹脂に由来する損失正接の極大値を40℃以上に有し、かつ、前記架橋構造を有する樹脂に由来する損失正接の極大値を10℃以下に有する
ことを特徴とするポリビニルアセタール系樹脂組成物。 - 周波数10Hzで動的粘弾性スペクトルを測定したとき、前記ポリビニルアセタール樹脂に由来する損失正接が極大値を示す温度から前記架橋構造を有する樹脂に由来する損失正接が極大値を示す温度までの温度範囲の80%以上の領域において、引張貯蔵弾性率が1×107~3×109Pa・sであることを特徴とする請求項1記載のポリビニルアセタール系樹脂組成物。
- ポリビニルアセタール樹脂と、架橋構造を有する樹脂との合計100重量%中、前記ポリビニルアセタール樹脂の含有量が30~95重量%、前記架橋構造を有する樹脂の含有量が5~70重量%であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載のポリビニルアセタール系樹脂組成物。
- 架橋構造を有する樹脂からなる分散相は、0.1~10μmの平均分散径であることを特徴とする請求項1、2又は3記載のポリビニルアセタール系樹脂組成物。
- 架橋構造を有する樹脂は、10~98重量%のゲル分率を有することを特徴とする請求項1、2、3又は4記載のポリビニルアセタール系樹脂組成物。
- 可塑剤を含有しないことを特徴とする請求項1、2、3、4又は5記載のポリビニルアセタール系樹脂組成物。
- 架橋構造を有する樹脂は、架橋構造を有する(メタ)アクリル樹脂であることを特徴とする請求項1、2、3、4、5又は6記載のポリビニルアセタール系樹脂組成物。
- ポリビニルアセタール樹脂の存在下で、(メタ)アクリル樹脂を構成するモノマーの重合を行うことにより得られることを特徴とする請求項7記載のポリビニルアセタール系樹脂組成物。
