Abstract

The invention relates to a system of two adjacent PV module units (11) that are held at a predetermined height above ground (U) by means of support elements (1a, 1b). Every PV module unit (11) has a bordering edge (G) with respect to the adjacent PV module unit and a PV module unit edge (12) opposite the bordering edge (G). The support elements (1a, 1b) are arranged exclusively on the side of the respective opposite PV module unit edge (12) and the bordering edges (G) have a smaller distance (A) to ground (U) than the opposite PV module unit edges (12). In this manner, rain water running off the generator does not filter into the ground (U) in the region of the support elements (1a, 1b), causing the support elements to sink into the ground in an uncontrolled manner and resulting in their corrosion.
