Description

Clothes dryer
The present invention relates to a clothes dryer for drying clothes.
As shown in FIG. 6, the conventional clothes dryer is provided with a rotating drum 10 for housing clothes in a housing 11, and the rotating drum 10 is rotated to stir the clothes and apply hot air to the clothes. To dry the clothing. In addition, the clothes dryer has an opening 13 in the front surface 12 of the housing 11, and clothes are taken in and out through the opening 13. Moreover, this clothes dryer has the door 14 which closes the opening 13 (for example, refer patent document 1).
In the conventional clothes dryer, the rotating drum 10, the opening 13, and the door 14 are substantially concentric circles. That is, the center of the opening 13 and the center of the door 14 when closed are located on an extension line of the rotation axis A of the rotary drum 10. Thereby, the opening 13 can be formed large. As a result, clothes can be taken in and out easily. In addition, the opening 13 of the conventional clothes dryer disclosed by patent document 1 has what is called a D cut shape from which the lower part of the circle was partly cut off.
In order to reduce the power consumption of the clothes dryer, a heat pump device may be used in place of the heater as a heat source for generating warm air. Since the heat pump device is large and heavy, the heat pump device is usually disposed below the housing 11. On the other hand, the rotary drum 10 of the clothes dryer needs to be enlarged in order to accommodate a large amount of clothes, and the diameter of the rotary drum 10 increases. For this reason, the space below the lower end of the rotating drum 10 becomes narrow. Therefore, in the clothes dryer disclosed in Patent Document 1, when the heat pump device is disposed in the lower part of the housing 11, it is necessary to move the position of the rotary drum 10 upward. Even when the heat pump device is not used, there may be a case where a sufficient space is required under the rotating drum 10 in order to improve the efficiency of generating warm air. Furthermore, it is desirable that the center of the opening 13 and the center of the rotating drum 10 coincide with each other in order to facilitate putting in and out of clothing.
However, since the operation unit 16 is disposed on the upper portion of the front surface 12 of the casing 11, it is difficult to move the opening 13 upward in accordance with the upward movement of the rotary drum 10. Therefore, in order to make the center of the opening 13 coincide with the center of the rotary drum 10, it is necessary to reduce the circular shape of the opening 13. This creates the possibility that clothes will not be easily taken in and out.

The rotating drum 23 rotates when the force of the motor 26 is transmitted to the rotating drum 23 via the pulley 27 and the belt 28. The motor 26 further rotates the fan 31 via the pulley 29 and the belt 30.
A heat pump device 32 as a hot air generating device is disposed on the bottom surface of the casing 21 below the rotating drum 23. The heat pump device 32 is configured by connecting a compressor 33, a condenser 34, an evaporator 35, and the like through piping, and a refrigerant circulates therein.
Further, when the fan 31 operates, an air flow as indicated by an arrow F is generated in the housing 21. The air dehumidified by the evaporator 35 is heated by the condenser 34 to become dry hot air. The warm air passes through the drying duct 36 and enters the rotary drum 23. When the warm air hits the clothes to be stirred by the rotation of the rotary drum 23, the clothes are dried.
The warm air that has dried the clothes flows into the filter portion 37 provided on the back surface of the door 24 and returns to the heat pump device 32 again through the vent 22 a formed in the side wall of the opening 22. The warm air that dries the clothing contains moisture released from the clothing as the temperature drops. That is, the warm air that dries the clothes becomes low-temperature and high-humidity air. The low-temperature and high-humidity air becomes dry hot air again by the heat pump device 32 and is sent to the rotary drum 23. In this way, air circulates.
FIG. 3 is a schematic view of the clothes dryer 20 of the present embodiment as viewed from the front. The rotating drum 23 (shown by a broken line in the drawing) is disposed above the inside of the housing 21 because the hot air generating device including the heat pump device 32 is disposed below the rotating drum 23. For example, the top portion T of the rotating drum 23 is positioned in the vicinity of the top plate 38 of the casing 21, and the operation unit 25 is positioned in front of the top portion T of the rotating drum 23. The center C22 of the opening 22 is substantially located on the rotation axis A of the rotary drum 23 shown in FIG. That is, the center C23 of the rotating drum 23, which is the rotation axis A of the rotating drum 23, substantially coincides with the center C22 of the opening 22.
4A to 4D are explanatory diagrams for explaining the positional relationship between the rotating drum and the opening.
In FIGS. 4A to 4D, the rotating drum is made as large as possible within a range that can be stored in the housing so that more clothes can be dried. 4A and 4B, the circular opening is made as large as possible so that the clothes can be easily taken in and out and the clothes in the rotating drum are not spilled from the opening when the door is open.
4A to 4D show a state where the door of the clothes dryer is removed. As shown in FIG. 4A, when there is no large hot air generating device such as a heat pump device below the rotating drum 23, the rotating drum 23 can be disposed near the center inside the housing 21. The opening 220 is formed at a position where the center thereof substantially coincides with the center C23 of the rotary drum 23. In this case, the rotating drum 23 can be arranged so that the rotating drum 23 is not positioned behind the operation unit 25.
On the other hand, when a large hot air generating device such as a heat pump device is disposed below the rotating drum 23 as in the clothes dryer of the present embodiment, the rotating drum 23 is arranged at the upper part inside the housing 21. It is necessary to install. However, as shown in FIG. 4B, since the operation unit 25 is disposed at the upper part of the front surface of the casing 21, the opening 220 is formed so that the center C23 of the rotating drum 23 and the center of the opening 220 are substantially aligned. It is difficult. That is, when the opening 220 is formed in accordance with the rotating drum 23, the operation unit 25 and the opening 220 interfere with each other. Actually, since the door that closes the opening 220 is larger than the opening 220, interference with the operation unit 25 is further increased.
Therefore, it is necessary to reduce the diameter of the opening 220 as shown in FIG. 4C. Thereby, interference with the operation part 25 and the opening 220 can be avoided. However, in this case, since the opening 220 is small, it is difficult to put in and out the clothing.
Therefore, in the clothes dryer of the present embodiment, the opening 22 has a substantially rectangular shape as shown in FIG. 4D. Specifically, the opening 220 (indicated by a broken line) is extended toward the four corners of the housing 21 (for example, in the direction of 45 degrees obliquely) to form a substantially rectangular opening 22. With this configuration, the opening 22 is enlarged, and clothes can be taken in and out easily.
Here, the “substantially square” is not limited to a strict square or rectangle, but includes a shape that a person recognizes as a square instead of a circle.
5A to 5F are explanatory views for explaining the shape of the opening. As shown in FIG. 5A, the shape of the opening 22 may be a curved line instead of a straight line. Further, as shown in FIG. 5B, the shape of the opening 22 may be a rounded apex instead of a corner having a quadrangular apex. Further, as shown in FIG. 5C, the shape of the opening 22 is recognized as a substantially square shape because there are four curvature portions R1 having the largest curvature. That is, in the shape of the opening 22 shown in FIG. 5C, the curvature of the line corresponding to the side of the rectangle is smaller than the curvature of the curvature portion R1. Further, as shown in FIGS. 5D and 5E, the shape of the opening 22 includes two curvature portions R1 having the largest curvature and two curvature portions R2 having the second largest curvature. , Recognized as a substantially square. As shown in FIGS. 5D and 5E, the opening 22 may have a symmetrical shape on the left and right or an asymmetric shape on the top and bottom. As shown in the comparative explanatory diagram of FIG. 5F, the shape of the opening 220 has only one curvature portion R2 having the second largest curvature, although there are two curvature portions R1 having the largest curvature. Therefore, it is not recognized as a substantially square shape.
Further, as shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the opening 22 is formed such that the center C22 of the opening 22 is higher than the center C24 of the door 24. At least the vertical center of the opening 22 is higher than the vertical center of the door 24. That is, the arrangement position of the door 24 is not affected by the arrangement position of the rotary drum 23. Thereby, the big door 24 can be arrange | positioned.
Further, the direction of the rotation axis A of the rotary drum 23 may be inclined with respect to the horizontal, but as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the direction of the rotation axis A of the rotary drum 23 may be the horizontal direction. it can. When the rotation axis A of the rotary drum 23 is horizontal, it is difficult to put clothes in and out. Further, when the rotation axis A of the rotating drum 23 is horizontal, it is difficult for a standing person to see the inside of the rotating drum 23 (that is, clothing) from the opening 22. The clothes dryer 20 of the present embodiment has a large opening 22 even when the rotation axis A of the rotary drum 23 is horizontal, so that clothes can be easily taken in and out, and for a standing person from the opening 22 The inside of the rotating drum 23 (that is, clothing) is easy to see. Note that the horizontal in this embodiment includes not only exact horizontal but also errors in design or installation.
Further, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a filter portion 37 having substantially the same shape as the opening 22 can be disposed on the back surface of the door 24. When the door 24 is closed, the filter unit 37 is fitted into the opening 22 via a seal member (not shown). For example, the filter unit 37 includes a filter case having substantially the same shape as the opening 22 and a filter body that is detachably mounted in the filter case. A large amount of lint is generated from the clothes being dried. Since the yarn waste flows mixed with warm air, it adheres to narrow passages such as the condenser 34 and the evaporator 35. Due to the attachment of the yarn waste, the pressure loss increases with respect to the air flow passing through the condenser 34 and the evaporator 35, and the flow of hot air is obstructed. Further, the efficiency of heat exchange between the condenser 34 and the evaporator 35 is reduced. By collecting the yarn waste by the filter unit 37, it becomes difficult for the yarn waste to adhere to a narrow passage such as the condenser 34 and the evaporator 35, the flow of warm air is not hindered, and the efficiency of heat exchange is reduced. It is suppressed. In order to reduce the pressure loss of the filter unit 37 itself, the filter unit 37 is desirably large. Since the opening 22 has a large area, the area of the filter portion 37 having substantially the same shape as the opening 22 can also be increased. Thereby, the pressure loss of the filter part 37 can be made small.
Further, the clothes dryer in the present embodiment has the following configuration.
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 3, a contact allowance 22 b that contacts the door 24 when the door 24 is closed is formed around the opening 22. When the distance from the end portion of the opening 22 to the outer peripheral end portion closest to the contact allowance 22b is defined as the contact allowance width 22c, the contact allowance width 22c on the left and right of the upper end center 22d of the opening 22, that is, the left and right contact allowance widths 22c The opening 22 is formed so as to be smaller than the contact allowance width of the upper end center 22d.
Furthermore, the opening 22 is formed so that the contact margin width 22c at the left and right of the lower end center 22e of the opening 22, that is, the contact margin width 22c at the lower end left and right of the opening 22 is smaller than the contact margin width 22c of the lower end center 22e of the opening 22.
With this configuration, the opening 22 can have a larger area than the circular opening, and clothes can be easily put in and out.
Furthermore, the clothes dryer in the present embodiment has the following configuration.
As shown in FIG. 3, the distance 22f from the center C22 of the opening 22 to the end of the opening 22 is longer on the left and right of the upper end center 22d of the opening 22, that is, on the left and right sides of the upper end than the upper end center 22d. The opening 22 is formed so as to be.
Further, the distance 22f from the center C22 of the opening 22 to the end of the opening 22 is set so that the left and right sides of the lower end center 22e of the opening 22, that is, the left and right sides of the lower end are longer than the lower end center 22e of the opening 22. Is forming.
With this configuration, the opening 22 can have a larger area than the circular opening, and clothes can be easily put in and out.
