Definitions
- the present invention relates to a technique for providing information to a user.
- Patent Document 1 discloses a network system for providing road traffic information to a user.
- an image captured by a monitoring camera installed at a fixed point near the road is stored in a server and distributed to the user, and the imaging time interval of the monitoring camera is changed according to the frequency of user access to the server. It has the characteristics.
- Patent Document 2 below discloses a technique for notifying a user at any time whether or not all previously registered contents have been updated.
- Patent Literature 1 While it is possible to obtain detailed information about an image that is frequently accessed by the user with respect to the server, the user actively obtains the server to obtain such information. Need to access. In particular, for images taken at fixed points, the number of accesses to the server decreases as time passes and the number of registered sites increases, although the number of accesses to the server is large at the beginning of browsing. Is expected. Therefore, in this network system, the user may miss important information and information updates. Therefore, in order to cope with such a situation, for example, a countermeasure of using the system disclosed in Patent Document 2 can be considered. However, even when this system is used, if the number of registered contents is large, the possibility that the user misses important information or information update is not solved, and information that is not important to the user is notified, and there is a problem that it is troublesome. .
- the present invention has been made in view of the above points, and one of its purposes is to realize a technique that is effective in reliably providing necessary information to the user without making the user feel bothersome. It is to be.
- an information providing apparatus is an apparatus for providing information to a user (that is, a user of the information providing apparatus), and includes an output unit and a control unit.
- the output unit is configured to output information.
- the information output by the output unit may be information displayed by a display device such as a display or a monitor, or may be information output by a sound output device such as a speaker.
- the control unit accesses the site when there is a significant change in the site status related to the site for a given site that is registered by the user and for which information can be provided on the network due to the involvement of others other than the user.
- the function to output the recommended information for recommending to the output unit is achieved.
- this control unit can also be called output means for outputting recommended information.
- this information providing device typically, an information terminal (a mobile phone (including a smartphone), a personal computer (PC), or the like) or a navigation device mounted on a vehicle can be used.
- the “site status related to the site” is a variety of information (for example, content, image (video), etc.) registered on the site by another person (also referred to as “posting”) and published on the site.
- Still images movies, music, theatre, literary arts, photographs, comics, animations, computer games and other characters, figures, colors, sounds, actions, or combinations of these), and others have accessed the site Access status (number of accesses, access frequency, access time (time zone), access time, etc.) can be mentioned.
- the “significant change” here is not an error or a coincidence, but is clearly understood as a meaningful or grounded change.
- the “other” here is a person other than the predetermined user of the information providing apparatus, and the other person includes a specific user and a specific user such as a friend or a person belonging to the same community. People who are in a relationship or people who are not in a specific relationship with the user are widely included. This other person may be the same person or a plurality of persons.
- the site status is the status of the in-site information registered in the site by another person and published within the site.
- the control unit can determine that there is a significant change when, for example, the in-site information is updated. This makes it possible to reliably notify the user that the in-site information has been updated without causing the user to feel bothered.
- the in-site information is a fixed-point image in which a preset fixed-point image is registered on a site by another person
- the control unit It is preferable to determine that there has been a significant change in the status of the in-site information when updated. Therefore, it can be said that this control unit is a determination unit that determines that there is a significant change in the status of the in-site information when the fixed point image is updated. This makes it possible to reliably notify the user that the fixed point image that is the in-site information has been updated without causing the user to feel bothered.
- the information providing apparatus is effective as a means for preventing the user from overlooking necessary information.
- the site status is an access status (number of accesses, access frequency, access time (time zone), access time, etc.) accessed by another person.
- the control unit can determine that there has been a significant change, for example, when the access status of others to the site has changed significantly. For example, when the number of accesses of one or more others reaches a threshold, when the access frequency of one or more others within a certain period reaches a threshold, or the access time (time of one or more others) Band) and access time are biased, it is determined that there has been a significant change. This makes it possible to reliably notify the user that the access status of others to the site has changed significantly without making the user feel bothersome.
- the access status is a person who belongs to the same community as the user who is another person in one or a plurality of social networking services (SNS).
- the number of accesses is preferred.
- the control unit preferably determines that the access status has changed significantly when the number of accesses reaches a predetermined threshold. Therefore, this control unit can also be referred to as a determination unit that determines that the access status has changed significantly when the number of accesses reaches a predetermined threshold value.
- the number of accesses may be a total value of the number of accesses by another person, that is, an absolute number, or may be the number of accesses by another person per unit time, that is, a change rate.
- the “same community” here is typically a community on the network where schools, regions, hobbies, etc. are the same or similar. This makes it possible to reliably notify the user that the number of accesses to other sites belonging to the same community as the user has reached the threshold without making the user feel bothersome. Moreover, since the trends of others having the same characteristics and values as the user are reflected, important information that is particularly highly relevant to the user can be provided with high accuracy.
- the control unit determines the site status based on the browsing mode of the user on the site. It is preferable to change the criterion for determining that there has been a significant change in. Therefore, it can be said that this control unit is a changing means for changing a determination criterion for determining that there is a significant change in the site situation.
- the “user browsing mode” typically, the time or time when the user browsed the site, the number of actions the user performed in the site (for example, the number of times the web page was browsed (number of pages), the web page Etc.).
- the setting can be changed so that the judgment criterion becomes stricter, that is, the recommended information is less likely to be output. This makes it possible to select information to be notified to the user more carefully.
- the information providing system is a system for providing information to a user (that is, a user of the information providing system), and includes an information terminal and an information management server.
- the information terminal has an output unit capable of outputting information.
- the information management server manages a predetermined site registered by the user and capable of providing information on the network, and is connected to the information terminal via the network so that information communication is possible.
- the information terminal or the information management server includes a control unit. This control unit causes the output unit of the information terminal to output recommendation information for recommending access to the site when there is a significant change in the site status regarding the site due to the involvement of others other than the user.
- the user after the user recognizes the recommended information regarding the pre-registered site, the user can access the site as necessary to confirm a significant change in the site status. Therefore, according to the information providing system, it is possible to reliably provide necessary information to the user without making the user feel bothersome.
- the site status is the status of the in-site information registered in the site by another person and published within the site.
- the control unit can determine that there is a significant change when, for example, the in-site information is updated. This makes it possible to reliably notify the user that the in-site information has been updated without causing the user to feel bothered.
- the information providing system preferably includes a photographing device capable of photographing a fixed point image set in advance and transmitting information about the image to the information management server via the network.
- the in-site information is a fixed-point image in which a fixed-point image captured by the imaging device is registered on the site by another person, and the control unit updates the fixed-point image. It is preferable to determine that there has been a significant change in the status of the in-site information when
- the “image” here includes a moving image (also referred to as “moving image” or “video”) and a still image (also referred to as “still image”).
- the information providing system is effective as a means for preventing the user from overlooking necessary information.
- the site status is preferably an access status (access count, access frequency, access time (time zone), access time, etc.) accessed by another person.
- the control unit can determine that there has been a significant change, for example, when the access status of others to the site has changed significantly. This makes it possible to reliably notify the user that the access status of others to the site has changed significantly without making the user feel bothersome.
- the access situation is that one or a plurality of social networking services (SNS) is accessed by another person who belongs to the same community as the user.
- the number of accesses made is preferable.
- the control unit preferably determines that the access status has changed significantly when the number of accesses reaches a predetermined threshold. This makes it possible to reliably notify the user that the number of accesses to other sites belonging to the same community as the user has reached the threshold without making the user feel bothersome.
- important information that is particularly highly relevant to the user can be provided with high accuracy.
- the control unit determines the site status based on the browsing mode of the user on the site. It is preferable to change the criterion for determining that there has been a significant change in. This makes it possible to select information to be notified to the user more carefully.

If necessary, company advertising information or the like can be attached to the outer surface of the vehicle V.
- the registration process is a process for the user of the information terminal 300 to register a predetermined moving image (hereinafter also referred to as “remind registration”) before the recommendation process. Once this registration process is performed, the user of the information terminal 300 can be reminded that the moving image is registered in advance at an appropriate timing.
- a case where the moving image A of the vehicle V that is the predetermined object 110 is registered by the user of the information terminal 300 will be described.
- the same registration can be performed for moving images other than the moving image A.
- step S101 it is determined whether or not there is a distribution request for moving image A to a predetermined moving image distribution site. If the condition in step S101 is satisfied (Yes in step S101), that is, if there is a distribution request for moving image A, the process proceeds to step S102. For example, it is determined that there is a distribution request for the moving image A by detecting that the user of the information terminal 300 operates and inputs the above-described input device for the distribution request. On the other hand, when the condition of step S101 is not satisfied (No in step S101), that is, when there is no distribution request for moving image A, the registration process is terminated as it is.
- step S102 the moving image A requested to be distributed to the moving image distribution site is displayed on the display unit 320.

- step S103 it is determined whether or not there is a request to register moving image A as a reminder. If the condition of step S103 is satisfied (Yes in step S103), that is, if there is a request for remind registration, the process proceeds to step S104. By this remind registration, it is possible to notify the user that the video A is registered in advance at an appropriate timing. On the other hand, if the condition of step S103 is not satisfied (No in step S103), that is, if there is no request for remind registration, the registration process is terminated as it is.
- step S104 it is determined whether a remind registration request is made by an external SNS. If the condition of step S104 is satisfied (Yes in step S104), that is, if a remind registration request is made by an external SNS, the process proceeds to step S105. On the other hand, if the condition of step S104 is not satisfied (No in step S104), that is, if a remind registration request is not made by an external SNS, the process proceeds to step S106.
- step S105 a process (watching process) for monitoring information related to video A (for example, update information of video A, registration information for video A, etc.) is performed by an external SNS. Appropriate notifications are made. Specifically, information indicating that the moving image A has been updated is displayed, for example, when the moving image A is updated in a so-called “news feed”, which is a display field for notifying the current status on the SNS.
- the registration process ends after the execution of step S105.
- step S106 it is determined whether or not the remind registration request is from a member of the video distribution site. If the condition in step S106 is satisfied (Yes in step S106), that is, if the remind registration request is made by a member of the moving image distribution site, the process proceeds to step S107. On the other hand, if the condition of step S106 is not satisfied (No in step S106), that is, if the remind registration request is not from a member of the moving image distribution site, the process proceeds to step S108.
- step S103 for the determination in each of the above step S103, step S104 and step S106, reference is made to FIGS.
- display information 321 for confirming the intention of the user to make a remind registration request is preferably displayed on the display unit 320 together with the moving image A in relation to step S ⁇ b> 103.
- the display information 321 includes a selection key 322 of “remind registration”.
- display information 331 for confirming remind registration is displayed on the display unit 320 (see FIG. 6).
- this display information 331 is “Do you want to be notified when there is a change in“ Movie A ”? ”, A selection key 332“ Yes ”, and a selection key 333“ No ”.
- step S103 when the selection key 332 is selected on the screen, it is determined in step S103 that there is a request for remind registration.
- step S103 when the selection key 333 is selected on the screen, it is determined in step S103 that there is no request for remind registration.
- the display information 321 includes a selection key 323 “SNS A”, a selection key 324 “SNS B”, and a selection key 325 “SNS C”.
- a user who wants to make a remind registration request using an external SNS can select one or more corresponding to the SNS registered in advance by the user from the selection keys 323 to 325 on the screen.
- the selection keys 323 to 325 are selected on the screen, information that the user of the information terminal 300 recommends or affirms the moving image A, for example, information “like” is registered in the SNS server 600.
- the selection keys 323 to 325 are selected on the screen, it is determined that the remind registration request is made by an external SNS. For example, when the selection key 323 is selected on the screen, a remind registration request is made with “SNS A”. It should be noted that instead of or in addition to these selection keys 323 to 325, a selection key can be set that can be selected when it is desired to make a remind registration request collectively using all SNSs. On the other hand, when the selection key 322 or the selection key 332 is selected on the screen, it is determined in step S104 that a remind registration request is not made by an external SNS.
- step S106 when the selection key 332 of the display information 331 is selected on the screen, display information 341 for inputting, for example, an e-mail address of a person other than a member of the video distribution site is displayed. It is preferable to be displayed on the part 320 (refer FIG. 7). As shown in FIG. 7, the display information 341 includes a message “Please enter your email address if you are not a member”, an input area 342 in which you can enter your email address, a “Cancel” selection key 343 and “OK”. "Includes a selection key 344.
- step S106 when the selection key 344 is selected after the address is input to the input area 342, it is determined in step S106 that the remind registration request is from a member of the video distribution site, and the input address Is registered as it is in step S108. An account may be entered instead of an email address.
- the selection key 343 is selected on the screen, the input of the address is stopped or the registration of the address input in the input area 342 is stopped. The registration process ends after the execution of step S108.
- step S106 If the selection key 322 of the display information 321 is selected, it is determined in step S106 that the remind registration request is from a member of the video distribution site. In this case, in step S107, information related to the moving image A to be reminded is registered in the user member information. For example, the moving image A is registered in the favorite information of the moving image distribution site in which the user of the information terminal 300 is a member. The registration process is terminated after the execution of step S107.
- the recommendation process can be performed on the assumption that the above-described registration process is completed. According to the recommendation process, it is possible to notify the user of the information terminal 300 that the reminder registration of the predetermined moving image has been performed at an appropriate timing thereafter.
- step S201 the other person's access information to the moving image distribution server 500 is read.
- access information for example, the number of accesses (viewing number) of accessing the video, the number of times of distributing the video, etc.
- the moving image subject to the access information may be all the moving images registered in the moving image distribution server 500, or selected from all the moving images registered in the moving image distribution server 500.
- One or a plurality of moving images may be used. For example, when attention is paid only to the moving image A in FIG. 4, only access information of another person for the moving image A is acquired.
- “Others” here is typically defined as a user different from the predetermined user who performed the registration process described above. For example, a person who is in a specific relationship with a predetermined user, such as a friend or a person who belongs to the same community, or a person who is not in a specific relationship with the user is included in the other people here. This other person may be the same person or a plurality of persons.
- the “same community” here is typically a community on the network where schools, regions, hobbies, etc. are the same or similar.
- step S202 it is determined whether or not there is a moving image having a significant change in the moving image of the moving image distribution server 500 using the access information of the other person acquired in step S201.
