Abstract

Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for a cluster UE to implement a group in TD, and a cluster UE, so as to fulfill a group function of a cluster UE on the basis of a TD system. A radio resource control (RRC) layer of a cluster UE comprises an idle mode and a connecting mode. When the RRC layer is in the connecting mode, the method for the cluster UE to implement the group comprises: controlling the cluster UE to enter a speaking state, so that the cluster UE obtains a speaking right of a group and exclusively occupies an uplink dedicated channel of the group communication. When the RRC layer is in the idle mode, the method for the cluster UE to implement the group comprises: controlling the cluster UE to enter a listening state, so that the cluster UE is in a receiving state in the group and shares a downlink service channel of the group communication with all UEs in the listening state in the group. By adopting technical solutions of the present invention, the states of the RRC are re-divided on the basis of the existing TD network to meet function requirements of the cluster.
