The present invention relates to a vehicle seat back frame and a seat comprising such a frame.
Figures 2 to 4 show a side view of the seat 35, and in particular the different stages of constitution of the folder 5 according to the invention. FIG. 2 shows the constitution of the seat 36 comprising a metal profile support 37, a plastic covering element 38 and a metal structure 39 assembled together to ensure the cohesion and the mechanical strength of the seat 36. The view also shows the metal structure 3 which provides the strength and mechanical strength of the backrest 5, described in support of Figure 1 and mounted on the seat 36. In particular, on the view we see the joints 19 ensuring the connection with the seat 36, allowing the pivoting or tilting of the backrest 5. The lower end 17 of the metal structure 3 folded slightly towards the rear of the tubes 3a, 3b of the backrest 5, allows the attachment of the rod of a jack in the clevis 18 secured to the structure 3.
FIG. 3 shows the seat 35 comprising a seat 36 equipped with its lining 40 conventionally covering a foam assembled on the seat 36. In the view, the metal structure 3 of the backrest 5 is covered by the holding element 2 on which the Foam wrapped with the liner 20 is preferably fixed by gluing. The wells 7 of the holding member 2 have a depth which is flush with the longitudinal axis of the tubes 3a, 3b. FIG. 4 shows the seat 35 comprising a seat 36 on which the backrest 5 is mounted completely equipped by the plastic holding element 2, on which the foam wrapped by the lining 20 is fixed, the metallic structure 3 (not visible). and a shell 4 made of plastic constituting the backrest 5 of the seat 35. The assembly is achieved by inserting screws into the wells 31 of the shell 4 to provide a remarkable perceived quality.
FIG. 5 illustrates a left rear view in perspective of the metallic structure constituting the backrest 5 of the seat according to the invention. This view more specifically illustrates the tube 16 which has a stiffener function. Its upper end 16c is bent to be fixed in the middle, on the crosspiece 15 connecting the two tubes 3a, 3b, and representing the top of the folder, the upper part representing the envelope of the headrest. The tube 16 extends between and at a distance from the tubes 3a, 3b in profile view, regularly and curved 14a following the gable 14 of the tubes 3a, 3b to connect integrally with the base 17a of the tubular lower end 17 of structure 3. The tubular lower end 17 has been bent towards the back of the backrest from the joint 19 which represents the bottom of the folder, so as to ensure a regular distance from the tube 16 relative to the tube 3a, 3b and to provide the anchoring means for fixing the folder on the seat. The lower part for fastening the backrest in the joints 19 on the seat and the yoke 18 for fixing a cylinder to incline more or less the seat back. In addition, a cross member 16b is present at the joints 19, secured to the tubes 3a, 3b. This crossbar 19 is bent at its ends so as to deport backward backrest and ensure in its middle part, its attachment to the tube 16. A set of spacers 16a connects two by two on the height of the backrest between the crosspieces 15 and 16b, the tube 16 to the tubes 3a, 3b forming a crosslinked framework. Thus, the metal structure 3 is crosslinked. This crosslinked structure 3 has a remarkable lightness through the use of tubular elements and high strength in all possible shock configurations.
FIG. 6 shows a rear view of the constituent metal structure 3 of the backrest 5 of the seat according to the invention on which the pierced lugs 3C are arranged in the upper part of the structure 3 projecting radially on the tubes 3a, 3b, while that in the middle and lower part, 3f membranes connect the drilled legs 3d, 3e to the tubes 3a, 3b, 16 and the spacers 16a. The membranes 3f and the tabs 3c, 3d, 3e do not participate in the mechanical strength of the metal structure 3. The holes simply allow the passage of the rods which ensures the maintenance and centering of the structure 3 between the holding element 2 of plastic, and the shell 4 plastic to create the frame of the folder.
