- the first sound signal S1 and the second sound signal S2 are generated.
- the second customer microphone 114a and the second consultant microphone 114b generate the third sound signal S3 and the fourth sound signal S4, respectively.
- the differential sound signal Sc is a sound signal that can be described as an amplitude-modulated signal. That is, this sound signal can be described in the form of a product of an amplitude component that changes over time at a relatively low frequency and a carrier wave component that changes over a relatively high frequency.
- the envelope is defined as a line indicating the time variation of the amplitude component, particularly a waveform along the time axis of the amplitude component.
- the change target part extraction unit 30 detects a rising part that continuously rises from several dB to several tens dB, for example, 5 dB or more, from the envelope of the differential sound signal obtained by the low-pass filter 56. Next, the change target part extraction unit 30 detects a descending part that descends continuously several dB to several tens dB, for example, 5 dB or more after the ascending part. The change target portion extraction unit 30 determines a signal between the rising portion and the corresponding falling portion as a signal of the change target portion. In many cases, the envelope of the signal of the change target portion determined in this way is approximately one mountain.
- the partial change unit 90 includes an envelope information acquisition unit 92, a replacement carrier generation unit 94, and an envelope information application unit 96.
- the envelope information acquisition unit 92 acquires information about the envelope from the signal of the change target part extracted by the change target part extraction unit 30.
- the replacement carrier generation unit 94 generates a replacement carrier different from the carrier component of the signal of the change target portion extracted by the change target portion extraction unit 30.
- the envelope information application unit 96 applies information related to the envelope acquired by the envelope information acquisition unit 92 to the replacement carrier generated by the replacement carrier generation unit 94.
- the partial change unit 90 outputs the signal of the new change target portion after application to the delay adjustment unit 68.
- the envelope information acquisition unit 92 ′ includes a first bandpass filter BPF1, a second bandpass filter BPF2, a third bandpass filter BPF3, a first RMS circuit RMS1, a second RMS circuit RMS2, a third RMS circuit RMS3, Have.
- BPF is an abbreviation for Band Pass Filter
- RMS is an abbreviation for Root Mean Square.
- FIG. 6 shows members related to one octave band, and the display of other octave bands is omitted. Note that n may be another value.
- the envelope information application unit 96 ′ increases the frequency component corresponding to the replacement carrier wave generated by the replacement carrier wave generation unit 94 ′ as the frequency component acquired by the envelope information acquisition unit 92 ′ increases.
- the envelope information application unit 96 ′ includes a first VCA circuit VCA1, a second VCA circuit VCA2, a third VCA circuit VCA3, and an adder 99.
- VCA is an abbreviation for Voltage Controlled Amplifier.
- the masker H (t) reaches the listener position much later than the maskee H '(t).
- the SD processing time in the SD controller unit SD is shortened. There must be. In some cases, the accuracy of the processing must be sacrificed due to the existence of this time constraint, that is, the SD processing time must be shortened.
- FIG. 8 is a schematic diagram showing an experimental system for an experiment in which sound from the speaker 166 is recorded.
- FIG. 9 is a frequency spectrum showing the result of an experiment conducted in the experimental system shown in FIG. In FIG. 9, when only one microphone 168 is used, the frequency spectrum 170 of the signal generated by the microphone 168 is the largest.
- a microphone 172 and a microphone 174 are provided at the same distance (1.1 m) from the speaker 166, the distance between the microphones is about 80 cm, and the signal generated by the microphone 172 and the signal generated by the microphone 174 are connected in opposite phases.
- the frequency spectrum 176 of the signal obtained by such a connection is reduced compared to the frequency spectrum 170.
- the voice from the speaker is inputted to the nearest microphone at a large level, even if a reverse phase / low level signal from the other microphone is superimposed, there is almost no influence.
- the frequency spectrum 182 is further reduced.
- the frequency spectrum 188 is further reduced.
- a speaker is installed in a partition, and a microphone is installed in the vicinity of each of a bank clerk (mic 1) and a visitor (mic 2).
- a microphone is installed in the vicinity of each of a bank clerk (mic 1) and a visitor (mic 2).
- a bank clerk mic 1
- a visitor mic 2
- Install equidistant from Since the sound transmitted from the speaker to the microphone is equidistant, it is input to the microphone 1 and the microphone 2 with the same amplitude and phase. Since the signals of the microphone 1 and the microphone 2 have the same amplitude but are input to the system in the opposite phase by the transformer, the combined signal level is input in a canceled form in a canceled form.
- the envelope information of the signal of the change target part is applied to a carrier component different from the carrier component of the signal of the change target part extracted by the change target part extraction unit 30. Is done. Accordingly, the resulting articulation of the masker H (t) is similar to that of the maskee H ′ (t), and the listener's discomfort is reduced. Further, as described with reference to FIG. 7 above, the difference between the masker H (t) and the maskee H ′ (t) is such that the information disturbance effect is just increased, and effective concealment of conversation contents can be realized.
- the sound system generates two sound signals having substantially opposite phases from the sound signal processed by the SD to be output to the second booth 104, and outputs one of the two generated sound signals.
