Abstract

Disclosed is a cosmetic, hair care, or hair dye applicator, preferably in the form of a mascara applicator, comprising a handle and a set of injection-molded bristles, characterized in that the bristles are monolithically molded onto a bristle support and in that the handle has a recess into which the entire fully molded bristle support or at least the fastening section thereof can be inserted in such a way that the bristle support forms a rigid connection with the handle while at least the bristles of the bristle support freely protrude outwards through a window in the recess.
