Abstract
Description
図1~図4に示すように、本実施形態1の室外ユニット(10)は、冷凍装置である空気調和装置に用いられるものであって、図示しないが、室内ユニットが接続されて蒸気圧縮式冷凍サイクルを構成している。
この空気調和装置の室外ユニット(10)の運転時は、圧縮機構(50)が動作して、この室外ユニット(10)と図示していない室内ユニットとの間に形成されている冷媒回路内を冷媒が循環して冷凍サイクルが行われる。また、室外ユニット(10)のケーシング(20)内では室外ファン(40)が回転し、ケーシング(20)の下半部に形成されている吸込口(25)により四方からケーシング(20)内に吸い込まれた室外空気が室外熱交換器(30)を通過する。室外熱交換器(30)を通過する室外空気は、室外熱交換器(30)の中を流れる冷媒と熱交換して、暖房運転時には蒸発器になっている室外熱交換器(30)で冷媒に熱を奪われて冷却され、冷房運転時には凝縮器になっている室外熱交換器(30)で冷媒から熱を奪って加熱される。そして、室外空気はさらに室外ファン(40)を通過して上方へ向きを変え、吹出口(26)から室外へ吹き出される。
また、上記空気調和装置が暖房運転を行う際に、室外ユニット(10)では、室外熱交換器(30)のドレン水が凍結しないようにヒータ(75)が通電される。室外熱交換器(30)のドレン水は、下方に落下して底フレーム(22)に形成された排水通路(71)に受け止められる。また、ドレン水の一部は、室外熱交換器(30)が設置された設置台(73)の排水穴(74)を介して排水通路(71)に流れ込む。このとき、ヒータ(75)が通電されているため、排水通路(71)内のドレン水が加熱され、凍結が防止される。そして、排水通路(71)内のドレン水は、排水通路(71)に形成された排水穴(72)を介してケーシング(20)の外部へ排出される。
以下では、ヒータ(75)を後付けする又はヒータ(75)のメンテナンスを行う際に、各種構成機器を取り外すことなくヒータ(75)をケーシング(20)内に取り付ける動作について説明する。
上記実施形態によれば、矩形枠状のヒータ(75)に折返し部(70)を設けて長手方向に折返し可能に構成したため、ヒータ(75)を冷凍装置の室外ユニット(10)に取り付ける際に、長手方向に折り返した状態で室外熱交換器(30)の側面に形成された開口(3a)から該室外熱交換器(30)の内側に挿入することができる。そのため、室外熱交換器(30)の側面に形成された開口(3a)が狭い場合であっても、室外熱交換器(30)にひっかけることなくヒータ(75)を室外熱交換器(30)の内側に容易に挿入することができる。また、室外熱交換器(30)の内側に挿入した後で、折返したヒータ(75)を広げることで、室外熱交換器(30)にひっかけることなく室外熱交換器(30)の下端部に沿うように容易にヒータ(75)を取り付けることができる。つまり、冷凍装置の室外ユニット用のヒータを取り付け容易な形態に構成することができる。

Claims (5)
- 4つの側面(4)を有するケーシング(20)と、該ケーシング(20)内に設けられて該ケーシング(20)の各側面(4)に対応する4つの熱交換面(30a)を有して側面に開口(3a)が形成された室外熱交換器(30)とを備えた冷凍装置の室外ユニット(10)の上記室外熱交換器(30)の下端部に沿う矩形の枠状に形成されて上記室外熱交換器(30)のドレン水の凍結を防止するためのヒータであって、
長手方向に折り返すための折返し部(70)を有している
ことを特徴とするヒータ。 - 請求項1において、
長手方向に並ぶ第1ヒータ部(76)及び第2ヒータ部(77)を備え、
上記折返し部(70)は、上記第1ヒータ部(76)及び第2ヒータ部(77)を接続する配線(78,79)によって構成されている
ことを特徴とするヒータ。 - 請求項2において、
上記各ヒータ部(76,77)は、上記ケーシング(20)の底板(22)に沿うように延びる本体部(76a,77a)と、該本体部(76a,77a)に対して上方に折り曲がるように形成されて上記配線(78,79)が接続される端部(76b,77b)とをそれぞれ有している
ことを特徴とするヒータ。 - 請求項1乃至3のいずれか1つのヒータ(75)を備えた冷凍装置の室外ユニット。

上記室外熱交換器(30)の内側に設置された圧縮機(5a,5b)を備えている
