Abstract

A dispensing container (1000) for storing and dispensing semi-solid foods having a hollow body (3), a base (4), a piston (5) with a passage (6) therethrough and a tube (852) connected to the piston (5) for movement therewith. The tube (852) is in fluid communication with the passage (6). The container (1000) also has a lock for selectively inhibiting movement of the piston (5) relative to the body (3). The piston (5) is slidably received within the body (3) for movement therealong toward the base (4) to dispense, in use, through the tube (852) a liquid and/or semi-solid food from the container (1000).
