Abstract
A heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system (100) includes a fuel cell (190) configured to generate electricity and rejected heat, a hydronic coil (182), and a circulatory loop configured to selectively circulate a fluid between the fuel cell and the hydronic coil. A method of operating a heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system comprising supplying electricity from the fuel cell to the HVAC system and using rejected heat from the fuel cell within the HVAC system.
