Abstract

The present invention generally relates to a traversable wellbore obstruction. The obstruction device includes a housing (38) having a passageway (75). The obstruction device further includes at least two obstruction members (30). Each obstruction member includes a first end (35) and a second end (37). The second end (37) of each obstruction member is pivotably connected to the housing (38), wherein the obstruction members (30) are movable between a first position in which the passageway (75) of the housing is obstructed, and a second position in which the passageway of the housing is unobstructed. In another aspect, a method of controlling a passageway in a conduit disposed in a wellbore is provided. In a further aspect, a system for use in a wellbore is provided.
